    The flowers are edible just peel the back part and stuff it with ground meats and steam

    These were our favorites back in the early 2000 when we used to suck every nectar out of these flowers. My parent would collect these flowers and cook it with meats and other stuff. It will taste bitter just letting yall know 😆

    Arent they toxic?

      Campsis radicans nectar is not toxic unless you’re allergic in which case it’s still not toxic but some have autoimmune histamine issues (allergies). I’m not allergic and neither are my kids or they would get poison ivy looking rashes. Rub the back of the flower on your forearm before eating if you’re concerned about allergies and if you get a rash don’t eat :) disclaimer: and of course always consult with a doctor
