This is exactly what happened. We only needed a couple things but Costco is half hour away so it’s fun to go and just see what they have sometimes haha!

We have a Cosco about 35 min away but I’ve never been there. I need to try the jars with the fruit. Everyone says it keeps it fresher for a lot longer. Enjoyed todays video Kristen! Hope you guys have a nice evening! 😊❤

It's so weird how I've been watching you slice strawberries since before y'all moved into that house that Donny fixed the fence on, and I still don't get bored watching you slice strawberries 🤣 Back then you would do it daily each time you created the boys a plate for lunch. It's funny how much things can change and people grow while other things can stay the same! It's so crazy to me that back then Brody was "boo boo" and he was like 3 or 4 years younger than Berkeley is now! Of course, Berkeley wasnt even created yet at that point, never mind born. Dang girl, no wonder when you take 7 month breaks I miss you 🤣 I'm going to guess it was around 2013 when I found your channel? Extra crazy to think that BC my kids would have been 10 and 8 back then, now they're 20 and 18 🤯 with birthdays this spring 😭

Wish we had a Costco close, lived in Alabama for over 30 years and we had two there but in middle Tennessee no Cisco.
Costco has great quality food so when you eat at the food court there it's actually not to bad for you since they use alot of Kirkland's products ! Also what's up with the egg shortage..LGB!

I can so easily over shop at Costco so I have to have a list and I’ve been shopping based on the sales ad and I’ll put a little wish list off to the side from what I need of sales items I’d like but don’t need. It’s helped a lot from huge Costco bills. I tend to go every other week so I don’t want to over spend needlessly every time.
So when you put the fruit in the mason jar it doesn’t need to be completely dry? Also, how long does it last in the jar compared to the container? I need to try it because groceries are way to expensive these days for my berries to be going bad after 2-3 days lol
No indoor dry the fruit. It lasts for at least we week but we go through it all by that time!

Yes they do, if you wash and prep them first!

Wondering how dirty the water is after fruit washing? Also how long dose the fruit last? Why glass for fruit storage?
Dirtiness of water is different every time depending on how dirty the fruit is. Lots of info online about storing washed / prepped fruit in glass jars for freshness! Works really well! :)

Does the Mason Jar good for prep fruits how long does it usually last? Do you put it in shake too? Do you do a Workout routine too? We love Costco pizza! It's my go-to here in Missouri. I'm from NJ so I'm a pizza snob 🤣 Also it's a miracle anymore to be able to get it at the normal price with inflation. 😭
Okay I need to know, is the dawn power wash worth the price? And is it better than just normal dawn? And if it is what and how do you use it? I always see people use it and I never really understand what the hype is all about if it’s just sprayable dish soap 🤷🏻♀️
I find it's stronger at breaking down stuck on things and I spray my glass cook top with it. It's too expensive IMO to use to wash all the dishes though. If I make a casserole or something that's a bit stuck I'll spray it and then wash it last and I don't have to scrub at all, which is great for me as I have arthritis and gripping heavy pans can hurt. Definitely not a must esp if you don't leave your dishes overnight. We have a bad habit of leaving them after dinner for the morning.
@Anna R.... It really is worth the hype especially if you have grime on you dishes. The power wash break it down with having to really scrub to get dishes clean. It's good for cleaning any grime in your house like shower scum etc. You also can make it with alcohol, dawn platinum, and water. It's what I do bc its cheaper that way. But the power wash one time so you'll have the bottle then when it's empty remake yourself using your bottle. RUclips for diy recipe.
I second what the other ladies said! We don’t use it for hand washing all dishes but more so for getting stuck on stuff off since it sprays out in a foam and sticks. I use it for laundry stains, cleaning the stove, cleaning window tracks, clicking the sink, stove grates etc etc etc. It’s much better than regular Dawn because of the spray foam situation!
@@KristenKasper okay that makes more sense to me than just washing everyday dishes with it lol I may have to try it because I have the hardest time cleaning our gas stove top. It’s white and I’ve yet to find a way to clean all the black stuck on stuff without scraping it off with a razor blade. Thanks ladies!!

My Eldest daughter goes to Costco here in the UK and she loves the dishwasher tablets I've tried dishwasher tablets like Costco and my dishwasher hates them lol dishwasher is just so fussy lolol Annmarie UK xx

Eggs were so much cheaper in Costco! The 30 count of eggs were $6.49 in PA.
I saw they had 5 18 packs for $14.99! That’s not bad at all, but I could never go through that much before they expired
30 count in Tennessee is around $12 now 🤯

Came here to ask the same thing. Really wondering if the mason jar storage is better than the bins with air flow.
We go through fruit super fast in our house, however, if I keep fruit in the package it came in, especially strawberries, they go bad super fast. When I wash them with fruit and veggie wash, cut them and put them into the mason jars, they don’t seem to go bad…. For a long while! It’s also nice for storage space and convenience of having everything washed and prepped so I don’t have to wash and prepare fruit for the kids daily. I’ve been doing the jars for years and now it’s just habit because it works so well 🥰

Yes 😭😭 but my kids have fruit with dinner every single night and usually with breakfast too so I can’t skip the strawberries. Everything is so high right now it’s insane!
Please share how you maintain your weight.. what you eat and such. Sounds kinda weird I'm sure but I'm a mama of 6 and this body is the last thing I pay attention to but 2023 is my year!
I think I have finally figured out what my body likes and doesn’t like. I try to eat a balanced diet but not restrict myself from anything (except alcohol - that’s a 100% no for me). Treats in moderation etc. I am back to working out 4-5 days a week and drinking a ton of water. I don’t “diet”, I just try to focus on protien to fill me up, not a lot of carbs, and lots of fruit and veggies. I also don’t focus on the scale, but how I feel! Movement, water and foods that make your body feel good and not sluggish mama 💖

You should wash your fruits and berries by soaking in baking soda NOT washing liquid or detergent.
According to the Agriculture Department, “Consumers should not wash fruits and vegetables with detergent, soap or commercial produce washes. These products are not approved or labeled by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for use on foods.
Soap, in a lot of cases, has a different chemistry than the body should be ingesting,” Bolton says. Soap can cause irritation to your gastrointestinal system, leading to vomiting or diarrhea. It could even interfere with friendly microbes in your gut.
I don’t use soap. I use Thieves fruit and veggie wash!
