welp, Its because the game never build around an open world like HSR and GI. But if we take the open world from those two, the game is boring as hek compared to Honkai.

I do like how they're improving the exploration in HSR with more unique things such as walking on the walls. I definitely had a lot of fun exploring Penacony because of that.
GI does exploration like no other game IMO. I have the entire world to 100%, I just love exploring so much in this game.
I've never played HI3 but I'm definitely considering it more and more everyday.
_Genshin_ 's greatest strength is its open world exploration.
_Honkai: Star Rail_ 's greatest strength is that while the conceptual control for the combat is simple, there is a depth to it depending on your team composition.
_Honkai Impact 3rd_ 's greatest strengths are the fast, flashy combat and character design.
All three have good story and at least a little characterization, however _HI3_ still goes the deepest and most emotional. Still, the other two games are fairly young. They have room and time to grow.
Note: I can't speak to _GGZ_ since I don't play it, nor can I speak to _Tears of Themis_ . Likewise, I never played _Fly Me 2 The Moon_ . But I do hope to get into _Zenless Zone Zero_ . It seems like it has a significantly more laid back feel to it, while still having some flashy combat like _HI3_ .

Nah id say HI3 greatest strength would be its story.
One of the main reason i found it hard to leave the game is exactly bc of that.

I can't wait for hi3 part 2 🤗 also when APHO is released and the time gated story I use Adam and timido to glitch into the area to get all the chest rewards that was fun! I hope they don't put a invisible wall in certain areas

Hi3 : the fun exploration tool stuck on a non open world (maybe the phrase 2 could fix that)
GI : the you got little to no exploration tool at first but get more fun tool overtime (worst case is you got the fun tool when there is no where to explore, but run around with those new thing still feel good)
HsR : where's jump

to me hsr has a similar exploration format to p3r (maybe because i was a persona stan before i got into hoyoverse games and went insane and feral for the remake of my favorite) in tartarus where its essenially a set of paths are there with select ways to go that only are visible on your map if you inch a little into an unfamiliar spot. theres very similar treasure collection as theres the chests in both, except p3r regens basic chests (because tarar is a loop till you reach the top) and you have breakables (p3r has these sorta tar lanterns?? and hsr with the barrels and vials and such). you also both swing a weaopn to break stuff and initate combat. and you cant jump.
genshin has obviously had breath of the wild comparisons and i tried to play that because of that, and like i really couldnt get into it like i could in genshin. really not my format.
i dont even really have a comparison for hsr. ive been more of a platformer girlie so this stuff is so new to me. dunno much on open world. i do at least know of some bayonetta comparisons to the game in general and ive tried bayonetta 2 because i was curios of the franchise prior to me playing hi3 and like i see the hit and doge thing but like i didnt finish that either.
i did hear some rumours about getting dragon mounts in natlan....and with the new 'guy asks you to befriend world bosses after returning from natlan' event, i have a funny feeling there might be some truth to those....at least i hope so anyway xD

I was still a bit dissapointed the new battlesuits for the trio (their new herrscher forms) didnt have any unique sprints
In Xianyun story quest, shenhe said that she invent a motorcycle using adeptal power but I'm sure genshin wouldn't put it in game
instead, they keep adding useless gadgets (looking at the gadget that makes you fly faster but cannot use it while flying & long cooldown🙄)
Honestly my biggest disappointment in Honkai exploration is how few Valks get a unique dash animation
Same, but with part 2 incoming we can at least hope more characters like sena will appear that's actually fun and innovative. Plus, apho 3 can bring another revolution to gameplay

Honkai Impact small open world are kinda not that good but it feels like those areas can be turned into multiplayer I hope they recycle them in the future because I heard multiplayer coop is going to change

Im probably being bias but GI would be the best in terms of exploring, HSR theres not much to explore since Maps are generally linear and Gameplay is turn-based allowing the Devs to develop more on the dialogue and other parts if the game...while HOR while you hv unique ways to travel the maps arent really nice to look at and it just more of a means to reach ur destination.

I ain't seeing no one in a horse, a surfboard on land or a motorcycle in Genshin, so HI3 wins in that.
In Honkai Impact, it just barely have open world, since the Sakura samsara Arc, then the Schicksal Base, and then the APHO series... Later in Story Mode, they added the same Open World system but different mechanisms like Otto's Arc, Elysian Realm Arc, and Moon Finale Arc. Also, almost feels with DMC
In Genshin Impact, It's way bigger and almost like Legend of Zelda BOTW and TOTK game, plus most of the characters have unique exploration skill like movement (alternative sprint like Sayu, Lynette, and Yelan. Also alternative flying like Wanderer, the water walk like Kokomi (barely) and Furina(needed than freezing it), and more), and the collecting item for characters
In Honkai Star Rail, It just JRPG style like classic FF game series, doesn't have similar to Genshin Impact

Alright, the only reason I don't play HI3 is that my PC is slow and playing exploration on a smartphone is not very comfortable 😭
You can walk on every game, this was about "unique" exploration characters features (characters that I own ofc😔✌️)

I love Genshin, it is currently big event. I tried HI3 but for me is Meh :/. Honkai star rail i wasnt try because i dont like turn based games, even Genshin Impact TCG is borring to me but i play because of Primos and other rewards.
