Awesome Job I'm thinking of making these for my Custom Car but want door to open backwards this style, great video to help me understand the hinge assembly
Hi. Great vedio and clear explanation. I have a question about the bevel gear. You mentioned its 3:2 size ratio... That's 1.5 :1... What happens if I use 1:1, ratio?
You'd need to push the door further horizontally to get the same vertical angular displacement of 90 degrees ie: push the door outward 90 and the door rotates upwards 90 degrees with a 1:1 ratio Vs push the door 60 degrees outward and the door would rotate upwards 90 degrees with the 3:2 ratio
+Antonio Fuentes Castellanos I could but there'd be large errors since this is so small. You'd have to make your own changes. I'll see how to go about it though.
@@omarbi129 It can be built and is built by Koenigegg but I can only imagine how expensive that would be. They most likely have it patented because it is their invention.
Hello Dan. Yes it can work. Though it may need some fine tuning and careful positioning. But disclaimer, it won't look as good because the doors aren't as sleek and low as that of the Koenigsegg's. but i'd like to see it anyay :)
Hey there! Thanks for making this video, its going on my 1:1.2 scale car! Throwing out the old mechanisim
Heyya! I hope I could explain the mechanism clearly. Share with me what you're upto when you can. I'd be glad to follow it
@@TaherAnjary Will do, im currently getting the models prepped, haven’t got to the hinge fully done yet but nearly
Although Koenigsegg has shown their hinge many times on RUclips, you did a great job reverse engineering and explaining it. Good job!
Thank you for explaining how the Koenigsegg hinges work in a way that makes even me understand how they work!
Seeing this 5 years after upload and it is still by far the best.
Thank you very much! I made this video because there was no other that explained how it worked, and it drove me crazy
With cardboard... You are something... there is no word for that in my dictionary
Thank you very much. I really appreciate that :)

One of the coolest videos I have ever seen and exactly what I am looking for!!! Thumbs Up!
Exactly why I made this video! Thank you!
Taher Anjary You did good!
Thanks for the explanation!
Nice and simple to understand.great job!
Do you have an STL file we can use to make these for model cars? This is amazing!
Holy shit, this is awesome
Well explained 🙌
Nice. I'm going to use this for a 1/10 scale koenigsegg i'm building later this year, first i've got to finish a full rebuilt of my IRL WS6 hehe.
Wow talk about some talent
Thabk you very much. I really appreciate that :)
greit. гениально. я сделаю такое открытие двери на свою машину. давно искал
Superb work 👏👏
that is awesome man great job
THIS IS MY KINDA' CHANNEL! Subscribed.
thats amazing thank u i was truly looking for it!!
+yash koli that's what I like to hear. You're very welcome ☺
U genius.. now make cardboard car with those doors haha
hey man Awesome, you should patient the product and manufacture
Can you please write exact measurements? If possible make a template for the pieces so the ratio can be manipulated
Impressive
Are you able to generate 1:1 measurements for this please
Yup. Fuck regular scissor doors. I'm finding a body shop that'll make me this for my whip!
Very cool.
You jenius..
Can you please give the tamplets pleeez
Great job bro
wooow that was great

You should try 3d modeling of it and then post the STL. files.....then we can 3d print the thing....easy for us.....work for you....
Good
Nice job Taher Anjary, have any blueprins o plans??????

This is amazing, great video. Can you make a template.
+lasermanthing well I just made the parts as I progressed so I don't have any templates, but I'll see what I can so and get back to you
@@TaherAnjary do you think this will work on maserati grandtursimo sport.

Podrías mandarme un diagrama de fabricación de la bisagra, lo necesito para una presentación de nuevas tecnologías innovadoras en los automóviles
Stl upload please 🤗
Can u please explain the koenigsegg chasses
You need to become an engineer
Taher Anjary please carry on Youtubing
do you think a mechanism like this would work with a 99 solara and it's doors?

Hi.
Hi there :)
Not that good you can't see any hinges on the actual car but your idea looks like it will be coming threw the front wing
