Race loved CM Punk like a son, he was one of his early supporters for him to breakout onto the WWE scene. Cornette once told a true story about Race and Omega in the early days in WWE developmental, and could very much confirm that Omega was complete idiot that he refused to do follow his instructions and put him in the beginners class instead of the experienced class, Omega hated him since, and from then on, whenever Omega wrestled he would sometimes mock Race similar to how he and Bucks are mocking Punk. If Harley Race, who most of the wrestling industry respects, thinks your a complete idiot, you can bet you are.

Like I said , It’s the niche , hardcore Indy/new Japan marks who are mad at cm punk . People like Meltzer who help the EVP’s spread their narrative because dave has a crush on Kenny omega . Dave killed the company just as much as anyone. Also, Tony placating the EVP’s and their passive aggressive backstage politics, is only hurting the company . They are putting their personal preferences over business. They got jealous when Tony started acquiring new stars , who were getting more over than them . Not to mention some of the homegrown talent that naturally got over . You hardly see them since Kenny’s return . Whatever happened to wardlow ? Or Hook? They squandered all of their momentum. It’s way bigger than cm punk . Punk just shined a light on it. Then knocked two of them out when they all came barging into his locker room.

If TK went on Dynamite as said the Trios tittle and world tittle have been stripped form Elite & Punk, you bet your ass that AEW watchers are going online to find out why .... its not really an inside joke when its the worst kept secret of the locker room .... MJF missed a meet and greet and had a plane ticket home, turned up on a live show and made a plane sign with his arms, the crowd popped, don't treat us like idiots we know whats going on. This "niche" audience is the mass majority of AEW fans

I’ll be honest… I heard all about the scrum, but I woulda never even put all that together, about the inside jokes the Bucks were doing. You know why? Cuz I don’t watch any of their matches. Every time they pop up on TV, it’s an instant fast-forward. 🤷🏾‍♂️
