Nice list, thanks for the recommendations. My wife and I enjoy Undaunted Normandy, MicroMacro full house, 7 Wonders Duel, Castles of Burgandy and Shotten Tottem.
I'm mildly disappointed that Royal Visit, Paris, Watergate, Caesar!, and Land vs. Sea weren't on this list. Radlands is also a good time, and Mandala, but it's harder to play those in the 30 min time frame. ;P
Sorry about that Jeannie! Paris, Land Vs Sea, and Radlands were in the running for sure! It was just that these games were higher up on the list for me personally 😅 I do really want to try Royal Visit, Watergate, and Caesar/Blitzkreig 😁
Really enjoyable video! The music goes perfectly with your chill vibe 👍 I have played Forbidden Island SO many times but never knew there was an island variant sheet! Maybe I accidentally tossed that when I initially unboxed. Just bought Caper Europe and really enjoy it so far. Shipwreck Arcana looks interesting and I have been meaning to check out the Unlock series (I was a fan of the Exit series but got a bit burnt out on them). Love that you don’t destroy any of the Unlock components. We really enjoy 7 Wonders Duel, Sky Team and Zombie Dice.
Yeah I’m not sure if the newer copies include the island variants or if it’s just the one I got while in Asia. I think that’s what I do enjoy the most about Unlock, over some of the other escape room games. Once it’s finished, it can be passed on to someone else :D I’m a huge fan of 7 Wonders Duel and currently loving the LOTR version. Sky Team is on my list to try out!
Lost Seas and Botanik are two good couple games. The two "classic" couple games are of course Jaipur and Lost Cities. I believe the abstract game Tintas is also a nice game for couples.
I haven't played several of these games, but Caper Europe and Shipwreck Arcana are two that my partner and I really enjoy. Shipwreck Arcana has gone on vacations with us. A few other favorites are Botanik, Jekyll vs. Hyde, and Boop. Really enjoying your videos!
Great video! My wife and I also love playing Tea For Two and Jaipur as well. Although not specifically two player, we both adore Splendor as well. Patchwork is considered a great two player game, but my wife was not a huge fan. Also, you mentioned Dice Throne, and we are HUGE fans of that one (although not the Marvel version as we're not huge Marvel fans) but it's really cool that you can completely mix and match the Dice Throne sets, so you can have Thor or Scarlett Witch fighting, say, The Gunslinger or Ninja or Cursed Pirate characters. 😏
Thanks, Stevie! Huge fan of Jaipur and we need to try Tea for Two. If you two are fans of Splendor, I’d recommend you definitely check out the Golem Edition of Century Spice Road. Also, ditto on Patchwork 😅 Agreed! Dice Throne is super flexible and there are so many different ways to play. Have you tried Dice Throne Adventures? I hear that just makes DT even better 😁
That might be a better question for MM. But it’s probably just between print runs and out of stock since it’s increased popularity. Maybe also check with one of your FLGS? That’s where I picked up my copy, at a smaller shop that doesn’t get as much traffic as the bigger online companies. At any rate, I hope you get your copy soon!
Little point of constructive criticism, since it looks like you're a new channel - I really wanted to watch this, but the background music with the same vocal line over and over was so irritating I had to turn it off. I would suggest Watergate as a great two player tug of war with interesting historical context ( if you didn't already cover it in the video, didn't get that far ;)
Thank you so much for your feedback Erin! You’re right, I am pretty green and still ironing out the process. I really appreciate all of the advice and criticism though! You’re my audience and I’ll do what I can to make sure the content is enjoyable for everyone 😊 Watergate isn’t in the list (spoiler 😅) but I hear nothing but great things. I need to give it a go!
@@everythingdice I thought your production quality and editing was really good for a new creator. You have a pleasing voice and delivery so maybe you could trust that as I don’t think you need a music track. I prefer a faster pace but that’s subjective and I often just adjust the playback speed to my preference. Also, definitely going to check out Marvel Dice Throne now 👍
We’d love to hear what you think of this list! Let us know what your favourite 2-player board games are 😁
7 Wonders Duel and Patchwork are my go-to's for short games.
Excellent games!
The Fox in the Forest!
Nice list, thanks for the recommendations. My wife and I enjoy Undaunted Normandy, MicroMacro full house, 7 Wonders Duel, Castles of Burgandy and Shotten Tottem.
Thanks for sharing! I really want to give Undaunted Normandy a try!
Love me some Fox in the Forest and Air, Land, and Sea 😉 Another great video!

Thank you for the recommendations! I’ve only played Jaipur so far and can’t wait to try the others : )
Totally agree. Me and wifey play a lot of Lost Cities & Jaipur. But also Arboretum and The Crew.
@@JL-bt8sg Arboretum and The Crew are excellent!
I enjoyed your 2 player game list! I hope you make more videos! We like Lost Cities. Can’t wait to try some on your list!
Thanks Karin, I’m glad to hear it! There are a few coming down the pipeline ☺️

Hive, Raptor, Sorcerer, and Agricola: All Creatures Big & Small
I need to try all of those! Thanks for sharing ☺️
Targi, Tally Ho!, Tank Chess, Godtear, Star Realms, Ascension, Draftosaurus
@@LeeroyPorkins OMG - Targi, forgot about that one! Excellent 2 player game!!
I've never played any of those. They sound intriguing!
Love Hive
Thanks for mentioning Kites!!
It was a no brainer! Such a fun a beautiful game 😁
I've had a preorder in with miniature market for kites for 6 months now! How many more months until it gets restocked?

Thanks Lincoln! Dice Throne is one of my favourites. I can’t wait for the X-Men box to deliver 😁

Lost cities and Kanagawa for us! I want to try Shipwreck Arcana
