  • I am a professional potter from Saga, Japan.
My specialty is Karatsu style "Mishima" technique.
I made a two-part video documenting how I fire wares in my noborigama climbing kiln.
I hope you will enjoy watching.

As an armchair kiln tourist, is fascinates me to watch how different cultures build and use their techniques to accomplish essentially the same idea behind these giant firings. The few of these I've seen and the techniques involved unique to the Japanese style from the kiln that follows the hillside in both design and operating principle to the way each chamber fires up to the next is brilliantly simple and very effective. Bravo for maintaining another facet of waning heritage for the rest of us to enjoy. 👍
    The subtitles were greatly appreciated!

Boa tarde, amei este vídeo de queima.
Mas depois que colocou a lenha , não coloca nada mais.
Aí é só esperar esfriar para tirar as peças. Me responde ou faz a continuação do vídeo
