I had the same thing happen to my jet 90. The cleaner head doesnt roll smooth across the floor & the fluffy head doesnt spin either & i cleaned all the rollors where hair could get stuck 😡
My S. Vacuum was starting to fail after one year too. After 2 years and a half it is not turning on. I think is the battery not charging because there are lights that turn on and off when i charge it.
Hi there I just checked you get 5yr warranty on your model but you must of registered it with them. I'm shocked by your damage I have one with the clean station and I love it just can't clean. It as much as I would like it colelcts in the head. How did your damage occur may I ask ? You can see ots just shoddy workman ship. I have a microwave over from them too.mine refused after 12month I wad green with worry as I forgot to register it for the extended due to me being in hospital but they honoured the repair under the standard 2yr repair thankfully ad my microwave oven was over £300 the repair team were amazing came to my home to repair it. Getting back to it so yeah you have 5yrs not 2yrs. Drag it into a samsung store of you have one near see what they say I. Person. I live in London we have many stores thankfully.
Did Samsung have an engineer examine the machine? It looks like shoddy build quality to me...I was considering buying one of the Samsung cordless vacs but after seeing their disgraceful customer service to you..wouldn’t touch one with a barge pole...Back to looking at Miele or Bosch I think...
Hi, their 'examination' process was looking at images I sent them. Based on this they made the decision it was 'misuse' and any repair will void the warranty. From this experience I can not recommend Samsung vacs sadly.
@@allhomejayp5025 I was going to say you have rights under EU consumer law that a product must be fit for purpose...Then I remembered you guys aren’t part of the EU anymore...Anyway thanks for the heads up.. PS I would probably email Samsung again and politely inform that you intend to document your experience with their product and customer service on your various social media channels. Amazing how the threat of a bit of negative publicity can make these big companies have a change of heart😉
I would try the really strong black tape. The one with the gorilla in the adverts. I'm sorry to hear that Samsung are cheating people, with their false promises. I've recently bought my very first cordless....a Dyson v12, but I've got several problems with it, so my other choice was this vaccum. Samsung's disgusting customer service is what is putting me off buying this one.
Anche a me si è già rotto due volte , la prima volta era in garanzia, ora si è aperto di nuovo e non so cosa fare. Anche il tubo è il secondo che sostituisco in due anni😢
This is exactly what happened to mine. I recommend to NOT purchase this product. I analyzed the design and the functionality is assured by 3 little screws fixed into 3 5mm plastic holes that get broken with normal usage and vibration of the motor. When holes break, motor and hepa filter drop down and vacuum is no longer generated.
I managed to fix it. What you do is remove the top filter (turn clockwise) and you'll get access to the bottom cover of the engine. you will need to remove the broken plastic pieces (3) where the screws are in. Then replace those screws with the same (or similar) but longer ones. When putting the bottom cover back, make sure to place the cap with those 3 wires in the same location (6 o'clock position) otherwise the wacume cleaner won't be able to detect when it's "closed"
Same here, badly engineered mounts broke. Will try to disassemble and fix. The bigger corded brother of the same family (S..tsung - shame on you). broke many times because of thin plastic, cheap materials, also badly engineered (perhaps intentionally).
That is samsung service quality... Samsung product always look good in the beginning, and broken apart right after the warranty period.
Very let down by their repair service and build quality

This is exactly what happened to mine. No idea how to fix it.
Will be trying a recommended advice in the comments section below as this £600 hoover will be useless piece of plastic otherwise
