Check local laws. Those are illegal on the open road here in New Zealand.
Has to be patched on the inside here if I'm not mistaken.
Thanks, that’s interesting as these plug repairs are very common is the US….but with certain exceptions such as distance from the tire outer wall, existing tread depth, etc. Thanks for the comment
