That was my first thought when I saw the crate engine and new AX15. I am planning on rebuilding an old tranny and finding a Ford 351 to rebuild and put into a YJ.
Can you give us more info on your new parts you are installing and where you purchased them please? Considering doing this same manual transmission mated to a LM7 5.3. Great info...
You fellas have some mighty deep pockets. Very jelous. Drive train looks great.
Allz69 Thanks, yeah it works out pretty well because my dad's a car guy but he doesn't really like/have time for builds like we do.

Looks good guys . I'm jealous also . Looks to be about $8k worth of stuff you got there. I'm glad for you guys.
The Dude Thanks, should be crazy in the CJ
What transmission did you guys use
Very nice! How much were the engine and transmission?
what is your reason for using a late model 350 instead of an early model 350?
What is the header part # please? I'm getting ready to buy a set for an 85 with a vortec motor. Thank you

I put a 4.8 l20 stock it was 308 hp 303 tourq built 4l60 rebuilt Dana 300 the jeep is like way faster then when it has the AMC 360
With adding a V8, did you have to upgrade/change the transfer case? Wondering if it’s gonna hold up to the power of the V8?
The t-case is plenty strong enough for this hp level of v8.
Why no Turbo 400? Forget that stick!
Is that a H.O. 350 crate engine?
