Hello team at Musescore! I have a few suggestions that I think a lot of people might want too, However a lot of these suggestions are not urgent as they are only meant to enhance playback. 1. Flute Vibrato This is a suggestion to remove the vibrato in the default soundfont from the Piccolo down to the contra flute in MuseSounds. Sometimes some chord arrangings are very flute-reliant, and with other intruments it really kinda messes up the effect. This would also put the vibrato in text to better use. 2. Brass Soundfonts I personally have been wanting a Cornet soundfont as opposed to the MS basic trumpet for the longest time. Some suggestions include - Cornet (especially for the Brass Band Template) - Flugelhorn - Euphonium - Saxhorns - Marching Brass 3. Woodwind Soundfonts Overall, there are a very wide selection of great woodwind soundofonts. But here are some I would personally like to be added. - Contabass Clarinet - Tenor Flute (flute d'amoure) - Bass Sax - Recorder Soundfonts (soprano, alto, tenor, bass, etc.) 4. Custom Instruments I believe it would be a great timesaver for the people with MuseSounds to be able to save their own instruments to the tab where you select your instruments in the score. Its kind of tedious to always do with selecting the instrument, changing the sound, changing the ranges, changing the transpositions, and changing the clef. 5. Other Styles Musescore and Musesounds, as it is is very orchestrally oriented. I personally write more than orchestral music, so I figure it could be a great help for many composers to envision their music with their own styles. 6. Crotales Not much to say here, but the crotales just sound really bright in playback. 7. Non Dynamic Volume Automation For some arrangements, its imperative to automate the volume of an instrument to be louder without the timbre of a double forte. This is to imitate like a microphone for a soloist, or going from a part of a chord stack to the only instrument in a melody. Other than that, this is a great software, and a lot of great and hard work you are putting into it! Please consider these suggestions, and Godspeed!
That sounds great! I am especially thrilled about the choir being able to sing the lyrics. Will these be available in the Muse Sounds Manager for Linux?
Musescore and musehub with all the updates is looking to become GOAT. Are you going to revamp the organ for musesounds by any chance? Because I think the king of instruments is deserving of such an upgrade.
