@ FolkSeattle: Many thanks for your upload.
The American-Canadian documentary on ZZ TOP ('That little ol' band from Texas') brought me here. There, on one occasion, Billy Gibbons talks about their performance at the end of a blues festival (as a still relatively unknown band )and that one Furry Lewis encouraged them to carry on playing although it was way after midnight.
This is yet another proof, that there are still so many good blues artists to be discovered. Mr. Furry Lewis is one of them. So, thanks again.

    @ Kenny Young:
Yep! I believe you are on the money. It looks like it is an Epiphone Texan.
I have an Epiphone AJ 220 in sunburst. Looks similar to the one Furrys' playin here.
I love them ol' Jumbos! You get such a good vibe out of em'. This video here is awesome cuz you can pick up some good guitar phrasings, and get a feel for drone harmonization. The tuning sounds like it's in D, G, B, G, B, D.
Furry's Blues is a fun number to play. I really dig this guy's style.

Furry was living in Memphis in 1910, when he was 11 years old. He wasn't living in Memphis yet in 1900-1901. Does the banjo comment refer to a stepfather? Furry said he never met his father, and the 1900 census said his mother was a widow.

Does HE know what he is doing?...
That's ok, either way really. He does know or he is really good at guessing the next good note!! Man, I pick guitar a bit and well.... what tuning is he in. I can't tell what's going on.

      Babe I'm goin' away baby
Your cryin' won't make me stay (x2)
If I had train fare, I would not be here today
My mama dead, my papa well should be (2x)
I ain't got nobody to speak (nice?) words for me
You scold me here, but you can't when I go home (2x)
I got something at home, make you leave old Furry alone
My first name Furry, my second name ain't never been told (2x)
I've been waiting on you baby, ever since you were 12 years old
Anybody asks you baby, which way did I go (2x)
Tell them grand central station, that's the only place you know
Babe, you know you didn't want me, when you laid down across my bed (2x)
Drinkin your white lightnin and talkin all out your head
      I don't drink no whiskey and I don't drink no(beer wine or) gin (2x)
When you see me sober, you make Furry drunk again
That's alright baby, anyway you do (2x)
Someday you gonna want me, and I declare I won't want you
I got a new way of spelling Memphis, Tennessee
      Double M Double E and an A-Y-Z
Tell me baby, who been tellin you(2x)
Who been tellin you baby, every little old thing I do
My woman quit me, never said a word
Wasn't nothin she seen, it was something that she heard
