A year ago, I was a 16-year-old nobody-skinny-fat, acne-covered, and invisible. My days blurred into meaningless loops of gaming and scrolling, with some school threwed in. I had no friends except ‘Mike’ (not his real name), who saw i was doing nothing with my life. One day, he sent me a RUclips link of one of your videos (i think it was “STOP WASTING TIME”)
The first video hit hard and spiraled me into more videos of you. Hamza didn’t sugarcoat anything: “No one’s coming to save you. Get up, fix yourself.” His words felt personal, like he knew exactly who I was. I binge-watched his content-workout routines, mindset shifts and other self improvement stuff. It wasn’t always flashy, but it was raw and real.
I started small: push-ups, cold showers, cutting junk food. Slowly, the gym became my sanctuary. The mirror began reflecting progress-muscles, posture, confidence. I learned to talk to people without stuttering, and, for the first time, I felt respected and recognized.
Now, a bit more then a year later, I barely recognize myself. Where my new year’s resolution of last year was ; “I am getting into anime”, this year it was “ i’m gonna earn 10000 dollars this year producing music”. I’m not the guy hiding in corners anymore. Hamze wasn’t a savior; he was a wake-up call. The work was mine. And while I’m still far from perfect, I’ve tasted what it’s like to be alive-and I’ll never go back to what i used to be.

I first found your videos when I was 14 years old. I was lacking in all areas; social skills, health, productivity, looks etc. Your main channel opened up a whole new world for me. I had no idea leveling up in life and becoming a totally new person was not only possible, but surprisingly straightforward and actually quite fun. In 2022 I went from a shy, frail little boy to disciplined young man with an aesthetic physique. For the first time in my life I was actually getting respect from other guys, even those who used to bully me. It's a tragedy that more young men don't know about self improvement. Keep spreading your message king 👑

Yo Hamza hope you are doing great brother. I am your follower from India and I wanted to share my story since your videos have got me into self improvement
I started watching your videos when I was 12 and at that time, I was fat, lazy, playing video games and not maintaining body hygiene. I was almost falling into depression but then Your content explained me a lot about how i can quit bad habits and be a better person. It was like having an older brother guiding me, pushing me to chase dreams and discipline and real world gratification
I started to put the advice into practice so i started working out and trying to be a better person. i Was always keeping to fall back to my bad habits and laziness But I always forced myself back to your videos and advice, reminding to myself that its okay to be mentally and physically weak but its not okay to stay like that.
When I was 13, i built so much discipline about working out that i started suffering with a kidney issue but it has now been treated.
Now I am 14 years old with big dreams And I'm building myself up academically, physically and mentally and also exploring about businesses in order to start one myself. I also learn a lot
like coding, math and astronomy because of you, I found what I'm interested in and what i want to do in life.
It's crazy how much I have grown since I watched your first video, but I know this is just the beginning. Thanks for making this possible for me to see what happens when i take control of my life and build good habits to become a better person.
P.S. I also have quit using Instagram from 2025 and I dont even feel like going back to that instant gratification app. I have also been journaling and making everyday, weekly, monthly and yearly goals.
Grateful for what you taught me

2 and a half years ago at 15 I found your channel by accident, I was looking up why gaming isn't fun anymore (I was depressed and overstimulated) and I found your video and my mind was blown after watching it. Your ideas about life and making life a video game blew my mind and just seeing how you done it and got so far in what people deem possible in this life fully inspired me. I immediately gave up gaming and watched nearly all of your videos. You got me into gym meditating reading journaling and a positive outlook on life. Truly changed my life and my families for the better I've become an amazing person because of you thank you so much Hamza. I don't think you'll ever understand how big your positive impact is. I was addicted to mindless YT consumption, anime, and video games before taking self improvement seriously. From being recommended Huberman’s Dopamine video and stumbling across your video on Dopamine Detox, it made me realize like this is the time to lock in and get my ass moving. Before I was starting to workout and read, but I just did these for the sake of it, like I would not enjoy it and in reading, I quickly forgot what I have learned. So learning about this idea of instant and delayed gratification, the point which hit me hard is that instant gratification makes you less motivated and more tired to do stuff. I started to watch your videos religiously at around July last year, and started to be more consistent. This journey has led me to be grateful in the simpler things in life and to not view social media as all negative, but rather a positive and powerful weapon that could change lives if used correctly and intentionally. Many many thanks to you Hamza!

I was 14 years old and I was scrolling through RUclips mindlessly when I stumbled upon a video called "the golden point of nofap" which intrigued me since I had been falling for over a year and felt I needed to quit. I had been working since I had been playing sports all my life, but I really had no major aspirations or real friends. after I had started watching hamzas videos, I started to realize there was more to life than just going about the motions and I slowly started to implement things like workout routines and meditation and nofap. Currently 17 and can't even imagine where I would be if I had just never stumbled across that one video. I've built an exceptional physique and increased my average in school by 20%, and I have quit all social media other than watching stuff like Hamza and Andrew huberman which I have allocated time for. I discovered you about 2 years ago back in 2022. I was a freshman in high school and 15 years old going through a rough chapter in my life which coincidentally happened to be the same year self-improvement took off. I found your videos very inspiring, motivational and informative. Around early 2023 I was improving myself but that soon ran out of steam. However by the spring to early summer of that year, I began to start improving again slowly but surely as I watched self-improvement content creators like you. By September 2023 I had gotten my first job only a little over 2 months after I turned 16 and I was already thinking about multiple side hustle and business ideas as well as the gym, though I didn’t take immediate action on them. The following month in October I had decided on a side hustle and worked on it but then ran out of steam after a week by early November due to overthinking and other reasons at the time. I then fell back on self-improvement until I finally went to the gym for the first time in March 2024 though I was still lacking in other realms of self-improvement. I grinded for a bit over the summer but that quickly ran out of steam as well as I got Sun poisoning after not wearing sun screen at the beach while on vacation, which threw things off and made me less productive than I should have been but that was my fault for not grinding hard enough once I got better. In August to September around the beginning of the school year I started to grind on my side hustle again but then slowed down as I lacked enough discipline and consistency to keep up with what I should have been doing. It’s now January 2025 and I’m 17 and a Junior in high school. I still haven’t fully started my side hustle yet, I still haven’t gotten my permit and eventually my first car cuz I still can’t afford it plus my mom’s car broke down but she’ll get a new one pretty soon and the job that I still have currently is good but I’ll need to get a second one in order to make it until I make enough money from my side hustle. As for the gym I’m finally going there frequently again since I only went there once over a 2 month period before I got back into the swing of things after New Years (Though it’s because my mom temporarily doesn’t have a car). This and a fair amount of other things are stuff that I need to improve in my life and I have implemented much of Hamza’s useful advice. The gym, work, school, driving, side hustles, business ideas, sports, family relations, friendships, relationships, mental wellness, spiritual wellness and more are all things that Hamza has helped me with and will continue to. I cannot be thankful enough to you and those inspired by you. Needless to say, I’m still at a beginner level self-improvement stage as I’m still young and in high school. I turn 18 in July and I graduate in under 17 months (June 2026) and my goal is to become a man by then (My birthday). Though me in my 20s & 30s and beyond will definitely look back with even more experience and maturity as you never stop growing, that’s the true mindset to have. But anyways right now this channel is perfect as it will help us in the beginner stage still young and in high school or college to all become Adonises one day. There’s work that needs to be done right now so wish me luck brothers as I wish a successful future for all of us 💪💪💪💪💪💪💪.

I was addicted to anime, YT shorts and Reddit back in 2022 (17 y/o at that time), had my OCD bothering me from time to time, and acted autistic in front of most people. I knew something was all messed up about me. I knew I was doing it all wrong. I wanted someone to show me the right way forward. I didn't have a strong man to look up to.
I was lost, and then Hamza's "Morning Routine" video popped up in my recommended. Boy did I find out I was a big pussy. He showed me the way out, and for possibly the first time, I saw someone on the internet pointing out how video games and social media are bad, how the modern world actively promotes these and makes us mindless consumers.
My discipline rose from then on. I had a more optimistic outlook on the world. My dopamine systems became normal and my attention span got better. I saw my life as a video game and started to level up in many areas and am continuing to do so. There are still so many things I have to put my effort in, but I am indeed grateful to Hamza for guiding me the right way.
    Thank you Hamza 🙏

I have studied sleep since last summer and I could say that every sleep expert that knows what he is talking about says that regularity is more important than any other tools people stress about when it comes to sleep. I have read 2 books about sleep, watched few hours long podcasts and its actually nice to see someone bringing those important tips all together in just a simple 12-minute video. Notes for this video :
Imp facts about how sleep is important.
we need more sleep than we think.
    Practical steps :
    We all know the basics.
    1. Regularity (Time at which you sleep)
-More imp than quantity of sleep.
-Sleep at the fixed time. Not 1hr before or not 1hr after it.
Ex - If sleep time is 9pm sleep at 9pm, not 8pm or 10pm.
-Suggestable time is 15mins before and 15mins after the fixed time. (Max 15mins only nothing more or less than that).

It was very nice to be more energized than normal, wich surprised me, because I came from eating Keto beforehand, which also fills me with noticeably consistent and good energy, but it seems like sleep has a bigger impact on my energy than diet.
(Keto/Carnivore/Paleo does improve my physical wellbeing a lot though, and I noticed a decrease in that regard during Christmas.)

Hi, you probably won't see this, but I saw the announcement and said, "Why not try?" So here's my story. When I was younger, around late 2021-early 2022, I discovered a movement called "the self-improvement movement."" When i saw this, i felt moved, so moved in fact that I still remember the name of the video that got me on self-improvement it was a hamza video called "a realistic morning routine you can try" i was doing most of the bad habits, like watching corn, grabbing my phone first thing in the morning, waking up late, doom scoring, ect the one thing I didn't do was do drugs ( thankfully ) but I didn't realise that most of these were bad I just thought of them as normal. This video opened my eyes to how shit my life was, I was getting home from school doing my homework then scrolling and eating junk food, I would get bullied for being fat at school, now to admit, I was fat, and that also propelled me into self improvement, this was my life before self improvement but now, I go to sleep at 9pm and wake up at 6am, every day I feel energetic after sleeping, not like I was before I did these changes, I started working out, reading, meditating and most importantly doing the hard work especially when i didn't feel like it, and all of this was all thanks to hamza and his incredible and informative videos. Hamza changed my life, I feel better now, happier and more fulfilled,I used to hate waking up because it ment another day of life, but now I wake up every day with a smile on my face because it's another day of life. I want to finish off with a quote from hamza, maybe his most well known saying. " do the hard work especially when you don't feel like it" - hamza Ahmed

Hamza all these channels are great and i think you should have done this since the beginning of when you started doing youtube: in the main channel you wanted to fit in everything (fitness, business, mental health...) so naturally there was a lot of variety, but also chaos and it ended up ruining the channel. By starting different channels from the beginning, you could have varied everything you wanted to teach and grow all of them simultaneously. But I understand the decision of shutting down the main channel and starting from zero with these channels.
btw good luck for the fight bro

it really isn't that hard if all you got is exercising, school, and studying. i don't know where you're from, but the average day for most students in america is like this:
      8:30AM to 3:00 PM school
3:30 to 6:30 varsity sports team/ extracurricular clubs
6:30 to 8:30 volunteering / part time job/ enrichment program / after school classes / side project
      8:30 to 11:30 study / homework
      Repeat
I'm so blessed that my schedule is a lot lighter now, It looks more like school, gym, study. You could definitely fit that into a day easily.

I’m 52 and sleep through the night on 6 1/2 hours sleep and have energy all day with training, day job, wife, and five kids. 😅 Cwrnivore is the key. The number of hours isn’t the issue, it’s the quality. Someone who isn’t eating right can sleep nine hours and still be sleepy later in the day.

I’m 30. I have sleep apnea. Had early signs at 18.
They got bad at 22 when I went from 80kg to 95kg (bodybuilder)
Got a CPAP and without realising , I have a complicated case (tongue based collapse) where CPAP doesn’t treat it well.
    From 22-30 I’ve lived in a daze.
Found out last year that my CPAP weren’t working… assumed it was and I kept waking up due to other reasons (because docs and nurses said my apnea is cured from the CPAP).
Got an intense sales job at 27 and learned the hard way how much sleep is importantly.
Once every two years I’ll have a random sleep where I don’t seem to wake up. And I feel like superman with crazy focus

Caffeine is not a good sub for sleep. When I was in high school I used to walk up before school to play tennis and lift. I started making huge improvements in both areas but I’d hit a point where my body was so fatigued from a lack of sleep. Instead of going to bed early, throughout the day I would drink 2 bangs and every couple of weeks I’d get sick and have to stop everything. I look back fondly because this is when I started self improvement but I definitely prioritize sleep now.

I found your channel when you were relatively small, less than 10k, I still remember sharing you to my friends who were also some what in the self improvement space.
I found you at a very strange time in my life, just done with high school, and prior to finishing I had severe depression and anxiety. Everyday was an emotional one that I couldn’t control, I had access to everything through my fairly wealthy parents but I never had a stable life, especially a social life. A normal day for me was to either pick up a shift at work and smoke weed or play games and jerk off and smoke weed not much in between.
At the time I was starting to get into working out and actually, that’s when I bought your $200 kajabi course haha, the discord server was messy, but glad you just deleted it. I still do my leg raises every morning or before my workout and thanks to you my abs are fairly chiseled and thanks in general to the information you gave about diet and exercise I’ve learned so much, especially diet. Gotta say I’m so glad I later kept watching your business videos because the diet advice you have about keto/carnivore was a game changer for me. Eating those beans and toast and high cal shakes was a pain for me to sit on the toilet with 🤣 these days I’ll fast for 2 days and eat 1 meal a day maybe, diet was something I learned from you that means a lot to me.
At the time my goals were pretty measly, I just wanted abs and a decent body which I now have. These days though I’m really locking into business. I was so shocked when you collated with Charlie Morgan, I didn’t think 2 of my favourite RUclipsrs would do that. Overall, you single handedly saved my life, got me my dream body, pushed unlimited confidence through your guided meditations, and now with an enough time I’ll be getting my second Smma client. Couldn’t appreciate you enough Hamza, I just wish I came around your videos more.
    Love you man

Hamza you said, we can mention what you helped us with to change in our life, I'll say this, i only realised how bad are video games, bad sleep, and npt being gratitude, only when watched your videos, i can explain without being Competent in science, how horrible it is for a purposeful person to play them, once you choose cheap dopamine from a certain thing as videos games, you stop enjoying anything else and think about video games only, there's a video game PUBG Mobile, i used to play for 6 years, as an 18 year old right now, my full focus was on boxing, so i thought, i miss that game so much, i downoladed, played only after my tasks were done, but yet, i didn't wanna workout the next day, i had boxing out of my mind at all, and i thought you know what, video games aren't important in my life anyway wtf am i doing, i ruined my dopamine, I've deleted that game which was like the game of my childhood, but I don't regret, NOBODY WILL CHNAGE MY LIFE EXCEPT FOR ME, and video games won't help with that i need clarity in my mind, and come on little dorks who defend them, name me a successful person or a boxer who played video games and trained, it's so unserious and evil industry, did you ever see Mike Tyson playing video games when Cuz was alive and when by the age of 23 he had a record of 41 wins and 0 loses, right, they never had gajers to play them, because people were Purposeful those days and rejected childish things, mood and gratitude, people call Andrew Tate idiot, when he says " i drink at least 7 cups of coffee a day, those frivolous won't get it, how do great mood and gratitude throughts affect your efficiency while working and overall living this life, i maned up only after rejecting those video games, junk food, and stuff like that, boxing became my full focus, and f me if i don't become a robot fighter who fights like a movie character or even putting it down to earth, to fight someone like Mike Tyson

🔵-Not everything a person desires he gets, the winds blow as the ships do not desire.
🔴-The winds blow as our ships desire, we are the winds, we are the sea and the ships.
⚫️-Tell the winds to go back, our ships no longer desire anything.
⚪️-The winds blow as God wills them, we belong to God, the waves of the sea and the ships.
🟡-Tell the winds to come as they wish, we sold the ship.

Started 2022 December while being on the verge of a breakup. My only purpose was just wake-up, grind Minecraft and sleep. Until while scrolling for NoFap content, I saw that many people were recommending this guy named "Hamza". I clicked in and fell into the self-improvement rabbit hole. After 3 years, the difference was very noticeable even though I fell off off self-improvement many times. Once you get into self-improvement, you will never get out of it.
