I’m currently in the middle of song writing which I’ve been wanting to do for some time now. Foals are my favourite band & definitely always will be. and are just utterly unique and the lyrics to their songs just speak to your soul. I always wondered how they done it. I’m so happy I found this video I didn’t know this was made. This was the advice I was seeking for and from my favourite people !
Ive met yannis a few times by coincidences around town... three times to be exact. second time I was with my sis she took a pic and gave him a kiss LOL yannis smiled. He gave me good advise on song writing
Going with your instinct,is usually the best advice(after many years of Artistic cultivation..haha).... and "having the wisdom to make the call on an idea" Is a gem !
I agree! Plugins are lame! That's why I use a tascam 688 cassette recorder, alesis 3630 compressor, alesis quadraverb and a old Roland sound canvas. I like the older romplers, because they are not compressed to hell and are not pumped up with eq making all the sounds muddy.
I know its a common thing in videos these days but its really annoying when you get a "preview" and then a direct repetition further in to the video. It just makes me want to click away. Otherwise, really great stuff.
