Hello from Singapore .... In that comic set (7:44 mins) where your opponent show you A-8 of hearts ... How i wished tat you would have shown him your cards of A-7 after the game as well ... (that's bec you took no advantage of him as well even after seeing his card ... you just play your own game as usual) Your playing is like fine wine ... smooth & logical in normal time; just waiting for your right time ! When your cards come sweeping in; then you become the awaken hunter sweeping for a deserving prey ! Lovely video ... nice to watch ... Thumbs up X 3 !!!
I like that you're including some table talk. Definitely makes it more fun since the focus isn't just on the game but also the player. UI is a bit cumbersome though I do like the positioning of all of the info. Maybe make them a little less opaque? While it makes the text easy to read it makes your vid feel very enclosed like sitting in a cubicle, kinda strange when mixed with the fun table talk. Either way, like your vids! Am now subscribed
Wow thanks for the feedback - since I’m still fairly new I know this won’t be my final format, but I do want to be able to include past action because I feel the context does help, and keeping track of who/what positions are still in the hand. If you have any specific suggestions about how you think it would be better laid out, feel free to email me at brantzenpoker@gmail.com I could try making the box less opaque, but I do want the text to be easy to read
I majorly appreciate that you timestamp each hand. I like that you pump out a new hand every minute or so. Sweet flow and lots of solid ABC play with valuable explanation. What's the rake structure? I have friends and family in the area so I may check the place out one of these days since you make it look so fun.
Thanks! Since I only played at the room a couple sessions, I don’t quite remember the exact rake, but it’s lower than in California! So that’s good haha. Definitely check it out if you’re interested!
Hmm yeah - I mean the more people that are in the pot, the more straight forward you should play your hand. I only chose to bluff at the end because everyone showed ZERO interest the whole time
@@BrantzenPoker How’d you record? Was fortune cool with it? Or did you have to conceal your phone somehow? I go there all the time and it would be nice to record to help teach my friend the game!

knowing his hand you should of just checked it down honestly. semi angle trying to exploit him giving u knew his hole cards. as a vlogger you need to have the A+ etiquette, that's just my opinion. id always ask to just check it down there
I understand what you’re saying, but he was well aware that I saw his hand. It’s not like I tried to hide the fact I saw his hand. It’s his mistake, and I still have the right to play my hand. Otherwise people could just take advantage of me and always show me their hands so I just check it down with them if they ever thought I was ahead
@@BrantzenPoker that's an extreme example, you know that situation you were in was not what you just explained. you do have a right to play your hand but in this case it just seems like a check down is fair. obviously if players did It purposely knowing they're behind its a different story. its all good just telling you how it can be perceived to some people, and im not the only one saying this as ive asked many other players what they'd do here and they all say especially as an ambassador of the community that they wouldn't just squeeze value. but to each their own. goodluck
I was setting up to win on the river with a big bluff if he missed his flush draw. It would’ve been extremely hard for him to call with just a pair of 8s
@@BrantzenPoker maybe i overestimate, but he knew you saw his cards right? so he know, you know what he has which makes a bluff from you on a brick river obvious and makes him think his pair might be best. not hating or anything, just curious. like the vlogs!! good content
@@jessecfc2358 perhaps so, but on the other end of things, it makes it very easy for me to confidently bet with a king, jack, pocket 99 or better, because I know exactly what I beat. If he missed the river, I guarantee he would’ve been very uncomfortable if I made a large bet. I could easily be betting for value because I know what his cards are
Washington poker sucks because of the $300 max buy in and max bet with a cap on the 4th raise. It allows the degenerate gamblers to call and catch up when they have monster draws. You can't bet anyone off their hands so its always a short stack situation. I play at Fortune Poker a lot and have been for years. There is rarely more than three people with deep stacks so everyone is playing short stack poker. Its very hard to play poker for a living in Washington State due to the cap rules. Its slot machine poker or Limit, no limit poker. Some rooms in the area have pot limit Omaha, 5/10 and higher limits with the same $300 max bet rules which is pretty sad. Indian casinos are allowed to increase the max bet and buy in to $500 but they stopped offering poker after the pandemic. Poker is still fun in Washington I guess, but don't expect to have any long term winning streaks.
Painful ROI...not just for you playing poker, but turning it into a video. You spent 9 hours playing for $58 and then you edited video and posted it. Sometimes a loss should just get an honorable mention, not it's own 15 minute video.
Haha I mean if I only posted my big winning sessions, it would be an inaccurate representation of poker. My vlog is to document my experiences, the ups, the downs, and the break even sessions. Plus it was a fun trip and a new casino to showcase
@@BrantzenPoker Low key never thought about your voice till now. Now I'm invested in your success so we can have a pair poker vloggers who sound similar

A whopping $58! I love it!! For the janky dim-sum! Love the playing, Brantz!
