What do you think about adding some bilstein 6112 in the front and rear lift kit for the air bags from tandem off road in the back to fit 24x12-44 rims 35x12 inch tires? (Toyota sequoia platinum.)
You can’t go wrong with bilstein. Their initial damping is stiffer than Eibach but they are a GREAT option for the sequoia. If you add the tandem rear airbag spacers make sure you get shock spacers too. I got mine from dobinsons.
It would be great if you could put links on i some of the products you have found for your mods. Either way I like the channel and all the Sequoia info you have provided.
Great truck! Awesome content too! Im just curious, I have a C4 front bumper and also have a platinum, for the front radar, I noticed you didn't put in back the sensor? Does it not throw up a whole bunch of codes?
There was no mount for the sensor so I left it off and believe it or not no codes. The only thing is I can’t use cruise control but I don’t use that anyway with a 6,000lb rig on 37’s
@@CoolGuyClubsmall hack for that. Before you take off, turn the radar off. Works like normal cruise control the rest of the drive. You just cant do that after you take off. And it resets whenever you turn the truck off.
@@CoolGuyClub Right! mines a 2019 and Toyota ties the sensor into every safety feature including Traction Control, Brakes and ABS, Collision detection etc -its crazy! JCS does make bracket which I am using that works 1/2 the time at delaying the error. Great Rig again! Your truck inspired my build and Im sure many others!
What would I need for the front as far as a lift is concerned? I just purchased the tandem airbag spacer, upper controller arm up to 4" of lift in the front, and 33×22×12.50 tires and rims. I'm also buying 35×12.50 tires this weekend that I plan on running full-time.
@@CoolGuyClub heck ya! I got a clapped out 1st gen I wanna put 35s on with minimal lift and LOTS of cutting and grinding. It’s always loaded with 4 kids 2 cousins and on trails in Colorado!
very good design, your sequoia, could you tell me what suspension and height you placed, I would like to place those suspension and fit the rims and tires . I want lift 3" is posible you can help me ? Toyota Sequoia 2008 SR5 . Thanks

@@CoolGuyClub gotcha. Would love to see that video. I'm installing the air bag spacers this weekend and I'm rewatching your how to several times over 👌

Love the 37s on the Sequoia. Nice work on the body mount chop! The welds looked just fine!
Thank you so much. You never know with welds on RUclips, you just can't win em all.
Looks soooo good!!! Very aggressive. Keep it going. Love these videos. Super informative too.
Thank you! Will do!

Thank you thank you
Such an awesome setup 🙌

I try to add links to what I can. If I’m purchasing something full retail and don’t have 100% confidence in the product I won’t link to it
Where do you keep the spare tire? I'm guessing the 37 doesn't fit underneath anymore. Do 35s fit underneath still?
No spare. I'm not sure 35's will fit in the spare tire carrier without chopping or hammering

Hey bro I love the build !!🔥 question though what grill and headlights are you running

Love you videos That's alot to do I rather keep my 2008 toyota sequoia limited original even though your sequoia is beautiful sir
That makes sense. Build your rig to whatever you need it for, we totally get it.

Fun fact you don’t need a lift to run 35’s on a sequoia. But any tundra 07-15 front coilover will work.
Holy moly thats a good lookin rig!!
Thank you thank you

1st gens are the best. We came from a gx and got the 2nd gen for more space but we alllllllllmost got a 1st gen sequoia instead
Amazing build. Buddy, We would like to arrange to have our LED lighting shipped to for doing a product review. Is there a way to reach out to you?
Thanks so much, I saw your DM. I will reach out via email.

sick 2g bro! there’s not many of us. mine is currently in the shop for a makeover. which sliders are those and how do you like them?
They are the tandem sliders. Love them but they are pricey.
Are you in the greater Seattle area? Which alignment shop do you recommend?
I am. I do all my alignments myself. Every alignment shop I’ve been to has severely screwed up and sent me home with loose bolts and horrible rear toe

Are you running 5:29 gears with those 37" tires?
No sir, I just focused on getting them to fit in this video. Up next, is making the rig drive better with them. (gears, lockers, gussets, brakes)
I’m gonna run 35x10.5 then lockers and 37s or 35sx12.5 eventually anyway. 2002 with weaker engine and tranny lol. But she’s a good rig. Bone stock.
Yes!
Where did you get your grille? Also, I wish I could do 37s but kinda worried but have a plan to put 35s on it with a 3" lift.
