Yes guys, we have made a huge decision regarding the children which we talk about in this vlog 🫢 So, the day started with a long chat with the kiddies before school as it was their last day!! After the school run it was a chat with Zoe about our decision and then after lunch it was a run to the recycling centre for me and Joseph, before we picked the kiddies up from school 😌 Later Zoe has another chat with before we both wrap the video up after the LIVE 🤓 We really hope you enjoy the video, thank you for your support x

For what it's worth I think you're making the right decision changing schools and it will be emotional as u have memories but they can be carried in your heart. Not faraway if your needed at the new school and maybe ease Joseph in 2 or 3 mornings until he settles in see how he goes. The holidays are here, enjoy xx

Moving to the school closer to you is much better. And like you said, Joseph will be closer to home and you won't have to go so far to collect him if there was a problem. I bet he would do just fine though and it being new for all the children they would be in the same boat. X

Zoe the thing is if you don't try you won't know and children do adapt it will be scary at first but they will adjust, your near them as well if anything happens, and like you said with Toby more outdoor education sounds good for him as well ❤ you have to do what you feel is best for your kids if it doesn't work out then you will have a back up plan ❤ I'm sure once they make new friends and know they are nearer home as well it will be better for them ❤

Switching schools is an excellent idea! Kids adapt easier than adults to change. Try not to over think it and don’t let the kids see or feel your anxiety. Everything will be fine. Love to you all❤😊

Zoe and Ben your are amazing parents you have very smart kids.it is hard a parents.but sometimes change is good.my kids I moved to different school they did fine.my son with autism it was hard .because I was scared at that time he wasn’t talking. But with speech he learned how.

I Know The Children Will Not Miss Their Friends But They Will Make New Friends And They Can Always On Occasion Visit Old Friends. Us as parents worry and our kids adapt and they are fine, am sure they will love there new school and make new friends and its nice to be close if they need you 🙂 am ready for the summer holidays i know the kids are am looking forward to going to out places walks beaches etc just hope the weather gets better x

Changing school's for the children is in the best interest for the children and if Joseph starts school it will be closer to home for him. The noise you had when you we're talking was a bit strange hopefully whatever it was wasn't affecting anything in the house. Take care everyone from Norfolk

I remember getting bitten by a cleg. It was sore and itchy. Hope Toby feels better soon ❤
my son and youngest granddaughter are allergic to insect bits - when my boy was a kid I had antibiotic cream I brought from the chemist and put it under a plaster and that worked well for him - so well he still does it as an adult and uses the same technique with his daughter - I would put it on over night under the plaster and leave it to breathe during the day

Great udea miving schools so they closer to home and i think zoe is right when she said a smaller class will be better for joesph especially when hes is just starting out and learning new things. Hes growing so brave now and will hopefully love this adventure. My friends lil one is autistic and has recently started school and i know she found it hard but each day is a little better and ge is settling jn fabulous xxx

I wish schools in the US would do more outdoor learning. Kids hear are in class for hours a day and only get a short recess. And it's not good for kids.
In U.S. my kid done a month ago. We do have summer sessions for some kids. Depending on age, deficits and some classes done to get head. I think 11 weeks no school is too long.
It's not 11 weeks all together it's through the year so they get most time during summer think its 6 weeks then a week or 2 over Easter n October then 2 weeks at xmas
@@ebonyeyes1986 no in the U.S. it is 11 weeks of summer. There is usually summer school choices for high school though.

Cool Toby's bite down with an ice pack, and then bathe it with white vinegar. If you do this 2 to 3 times a day, it should help! It usually works for me. It will sting like crazy when you put the vinegar on it but it will help draw out the poison. I'm trained in medicine, but, sometimes it's better to do things the natural way. Don't put any cream on it though as it will block the draining of the poison in the bite. I know we're all different, but it can't hurt to try. It should take 2 to 3 days to clear up and it will help the itching almost right away! xx Get well soon Toby! xx

Seeing you like being outdoors, is outdoor nursery/schooling an option you have thought about because I know your children would benefit and thrive in that environment 👍👍?
Zoe. Being ex forces I know how you feel about moving them to another school. They will make friends that they can go play with or invite them to play. Toby will hopefully make a friend he can go up to high school with again being able to go and play with after school and at weekends. Ours had a lot of changes and they all turned out ok and have achieved their dreams. I do think it has made them the far more confident and caring with others. The main thing is you can only give it a try. Sending you positive vibes.

Wood ticks are common in my area of Nova Scotia for years. Constant checking of humans and animals especially dogs and cats are a regular part of our lives if you want to be outdoors. Lyme disease is something to be concerned about. Be safe..

What a yucky day! Wish I could send some of our heat your way, it's wayyyyyyyy to hot here, in the nineties with a heat index of over a hundred degrees. All we can do is sit in the house in the air conditioning and try to stay cool. You walk outside and instantly melt. It's just to hot to walk, run, or even play outside for the grandchildren.

My kids went to a school right near our house and then we moved and they stayed at that school for 2 more years because they didnt want to change we walked all time I hated when it rained because I don't drive.Then I decided to change to the school just around the corner and my kids ended up liking the new school. Best thing I never did.

I get tat zoe r landlord sold my house was there 18 years now in temporary house far from the schools so am thinking bout moving schools to am doing noting this year as my oldest only has one more year left then high school but its really hard coz my middle child is wile quiet i dont think shw would cope with moving it is a hard one ❤❤
I always say pick the scjool beside you if they ate ill or have after school activities its so handu

Zoe life is swings and roundabouts..,and decisions you make can be worrying but maybe this will let you're children mix with local kids who knows. We beat ourselves up but the children will lead you xxx

I think you've made the right decision in moving the children to a different school and it sounds like it will be alot better for Toby and Joseph especially!! The school is alot nearer to your home and like some of the others have said if you did need to pick Joseph up your not to far away from him!! It's a difficult decision to make and like you say you don't know whether your doing the right thing or not but all you can do is see how things go and fingers crossed they all love it and it will be the best decision you ever made!! 🤗🤞Do you know any other parents in the area that have children that attend there? I think that helps as well to put your mind at rest!! I'm sure they will all be absolutely fine and will love there new school!🤞 im sure you will be doing a vlog on the new school over the next few weeks so that will be good to see how everyone is getting on!! 🤗👍Xxx
Just my opinion so take it or leave it as you will. Toby needs a new school with a fresh start and to be set up for sucess. Joseph will greatly benefit from a smaller school. I think the girls will excel at any school so they may as well be closer to home. An important by product of a school in your community is developing friendships in that community and that has been difficult because of distance and having to make a trip of it. I would like to talk to you at length of how to set children up for success but this is not the platform for that really. You could also research it unless it's considered out of date now. You're both doing a great job every day, don't forget that!!!!

In our area in England years ago we use to have same as you but not all of England had same , it was good from us as flights and holiday still came under med season for a cheaper holiday , but then said all schools had to have same holidays , so then our holiday changed to mid of July , but they aren't same it was a con , grrrrr , bless a lady across road vwho I thought was my aunty , use to pull it out with her cotton apron , I use to get a six pence and a milky way bless her I loved her to bits , XX😘 sweet memories I'm 63 now xxx Toby isn't is best again I hear , things seem to much for him at times Zoe could be a bird in loft with young X they will go in few weeks I get it x 👍👊 😘 xxx

Hello Zoe and Ben how are you? You both are doing an exceptional job when it comes to raising your children. The two of you should never doubt your decisions when it comes to their well being as well as yours. As long as everyone is in agreement that is all that matters. Your kids come first always and as long as you continue to put their needs first everything will fall into place. I am that way when it comes to my son and daughter. Yes they are now 21 and 22 but I still take their feelings into consideration and support them when it comes to building up their future. I may disagree with them at times but in the end I want them to be happy and healthy and as long as I or their father are making sure they are making positive choices with people they interact with, their jobs, education, and so forth, then I know I am doing my job right as a parent. Watching your vlogs you are definitely doing your job. You both are always making time for your children and they are such intelligent beautiful human beings keep up the great work and please have a safe and wonderful holiday. We just had our fourth of July parade today that my son and daughter performed in and other than the humidity outside they did a terrific job. Please pray for my daughter she had heat exhaustion but is doing a bit better.

Hi zoe ben and kids thanks for yesterday for answering my question yes I can imagine they are can be funny at times but isee Agnes is funny sometimes pulling faces I love how all the kids help flo and Joseph does as well zoe all the little ones moving to a different school I think Joseph will benefit from a smaller school I'm sure they will cater for his needs I can't see him being the only one who might have special needs if I was you id give Joseph a chance at school you never know he might love it
My grandson started school at 5 and took to it like a duck to water and one day i went to school for him and his older 2 sisters and he came out of school a teaching assistant said to me .nan who's this pop josh keeps going on about I said oh it's josh s granddad all the grandchildren call him pop so she said i see .so got know what josh had said to teachers jn school about pop but him and josh were and are good buddies and zoe good for hou having a sneaky icecream I bet it tasted so lovely love to all fran ❤xxx ❤
