If you do pick one of these up, don't use the included USB-C power charger with any other device. It's oddly rated at 12v / 2a.

I actually love the idea of laptop kits for the Pi4/CM4 but having the ventilation at the bottom of the device makes me worry about good heat exhaustion.

I think this is awesome! I have been looking at the green PiTop for a lil while now and this is really kewl too! I’d definitely hafta have the whole kit I love tinkering!! Have really been looking into getting the 400 series keyboard kit as well definitely a lot more of a doable price range for sure!!

Maybe fit them together in a flat surface? Less risk of anything going wrong.

That´s a funny concept, but not very realistic for everyday use.
I hope future x86 (AMD) low power chips will make portable laptops and SBCs actually as versatile as we gamers need them to be.

I would suggest getting the advanced kit. I ended up with the basic kit and not only needed another part that was just over a dollar, the kit and book shows the base from the advanced and not the basic kit. I am on low income and was only able to get one cause family helped out, although very little. I am quite happy with the laptop and the kit. I use it more as a laptop than for the kit but I am tryin to learn the kit and get the projects workin. Took some time but I was ablle to projects workin. At $500 which is what I paid, it is very expensive. The pi though seemed cheaper to get with the laptop than buy separately. Thanks for the review. I am not a fan of any trackpad and my favorite thing is how it is at the top and out of reach.

how is this a REVIEW? This is embarrasment to review scene. You didnt do anything. Where is here an actual review of the laptop? No OS test. No gaming test. No behchmarking. NOTHING. YOU simply done short unboxing video and you was reading specs from screen. PLEASE STOP.

@@Comeatm3br0 I am not sure how Sujano has 100 000 followers. He literelly reads specs from screen and calls it a REVIEW. Without showing any actual real world test of the products he reviewes. The best examples are gamepads. Some of his gamepad reviews dont even have an actual GAMEPLAY. Can you believe this? Testing and making video about a gamepad without showing an ACTUAL GAMEPLAY.
Please Sujano stay with your usual content. Covering Discord and Reddit gameplays of other people. Comment on others people gameplays. This is the best you can do.
      seriously embarrasing.

@@MrSujano it would be pretty funny NGL. Even if software improves there is hardly anything new the pi4 can do.

I recognize that this is a Raspberry Pi laptop and should have realistic expectations...However, this laptop is clearly made as cheaply as possible...absolute, undeniable garbage.
No hate towards you, I hope they paid you well...but dear lord.
