    • @ElectroBananasYT
      @ElectroBananasYT  4 месяца назад

      Hello, that is strange. Mine holds charge well when the power is off. The only time I lost power was when I was carrying it in a bag and the power button was accidentally pressed (it is not recessed or protected from accidental pressing). It only uses 5V charging and can’t charge at higher voltages. Sorry to hear of your troubles. Perhaps get in contact with FNIRSI, they are quite helpful.

      Yes is it a shame XY mode was missed out. As it was in my version of the manual, I wonder if it was originally intended, but then removed as it failed testing. Or, perhaps they are holding that feature back to put in a new version in the future.

    Could part 2 please show both channels receiving a signal and whether its possible to adjust each channel to show its signal independently of the other channel. I hope I explained that well. Great video and very useful indeed. I have bought one of these devices and find it very useful as a general day to day Meter/Oscilloscope, but there is one thing I seem unable to get working on my device..... The photo shows a bar-graph around the voltage display as well as the digital display, but I cannot find out how to get this to work. I can see the digital readout of the display (EG 4.5V), but the illuminated bar-graph does not come on at all. Have you any idea how to get this to work????

    • @ElectroBananasYT
      @ElectroBananasYT  7 месяцев назад +4

      Thanks for the comment. I think you are referring to the section of the video where I introduce typical protection features in a good quality DMM and make reference to the protection circuit used in a Fluke DMM. Fluke commonly use a 11A, 1000V, high energy, fast release and sand filled fuse. These fuses are actually widely available (refer to the Bussmann DMM-11AR as an example). I don’t see an issue obtaining 10A 20x5mm ceramic fuses for the 2C23T.

    Is it possible to connect an amp clamp to this device

    • @ElectroBananasYT
      @ElectroBananasYT  10 месяцев назад +2

      Hello Ashraf, yes it is. If you want to see current waveforms on the scope input, check the type of BNC connector that it comes with. Note that insulated BNC connectors don't fit into the 2C23T (see my section of the video on the supplied probes). You could still use insulated BNC connectors, but you would need to use come type of adaptor or extension to get around the issue. The Hantek CC-65/CC-650 has insulated BNC connectors unfortunately. You could take a look at the Owon CP024 - the BNC are not insulated and would therefore be a good choice. If you need to see current waveforms, then not problem to us clamp that plugs into the volts/ohm input of the multimeter. Just make sure that the current to voltage (ie 1A = 1mV) matches the input sensitivity of the meter. You can use a 1A/1mv probe with the 2C23T. There are many low cost current clamp devices that you could consider such as the HP-605A.

    Que es el modo XY ? 🤔

    • @ElectroBananasYT
      @ElectroBananasYT  6 месяцев назад +1

      El modo XY en un osciloscopio es una forma de graficar dos señales una contra la otra, una en el eje X y otra en el eje Y, en lugar de graficar una señal contra el tiempo como se hace en el modo normal de dominio de tiempo. Este modo se puede utilizar para examinar la relación entre las dos señales, a menudo para observar diferencias de fase o para visualizar patrones de Lissajous, que pueden indicar relaciones de frecuencia y relaciones de fase. Es particularmente útil en aplicaciones como comparar la fase de dos formas de onda o mirar las señales estéreo de una salida de audio.

    • @ElectroBananasYT
      @ElectroBananasYT  6 месяцев назад +1

      El modo XY en un osciloscopio también puede ser utilizado para trazar curvas de características voltaje-corriente (V-I), lo cual es útil para probar componentes pasivos y semiconductores. Al examinar la forma de la curva V-I, se pueden obtener conocimientos sobre el comportamiento del componente bajo prueba, como la resistencia en materiales óhmicos o las características de polarización directa e inversa de diodos semiconductores.
