I really appreciate your support my friend, and I also stand by the values of respecting other people and their work, so I use my creativity to keep my work different. I started my channel before I discovered JRR and it certainly made me happy to see a RUclipsr with similar energy though he is a master at what he does. Anyway about the Go+play, I been wanting to get my hands on that speaker for a long while now but honestly I can only work with the resources my channel is able to generate presently, I’m not able to cover all the speaker that I want so I’m building this gradually. But I am keeping track on all requests that come in and hope to get to them.
How do you keep it clean? Like cleaning the insides, I;m really considering it, but I'm afraid it'll collect too much dust overtime that it won't be presentable anymore. (I mean dust or bugs that'll inevitably fall into the hole at the time)

Finally a review that does this speaker justice visually as well! Had mine for over 2 years and still love it as much as the first day! The price is very cheap considering what an amazing product you get both in terms of sound quality and design. I’ve brought it to parties before and have had several people fall in love and buy it as well.
After comparing several speakers, I can say that this is the best, its sound is of higher quality than many Bosé, some B & O, even the HomePod ... and its design is unique, impossible to go unnoticed. Stereo quality is amazing when watching movies. Great video! Congratulations!

I was viewing this review with a aura 2 itself. It has a amazing sound and do looks pretty good. The avaliation seems very honest to me. I'm also not a harman kardon seller.
Felt really happy after listening to music on this at a store. They sound perfectly well and even at full volume they sound extra ordinary. Sound was room filling with thundering bass and clarity. Very well explained and a detailed review. You have got a soothing voice :)
Just bought this today. Man it sounds mind blowing and makes the design seem more functional than it looks. Wished i watched this before i bought it just for more info, but i have zero regrets. Your review is amazing, at one point I wish you were sponsored so I get to watch more videos of yours. Your review is absolutely genuine and comprehensive, and I hope go big sincerely, all the best to you! P/S: The transaparent part of the speaker is made from Polycarbonate (PC), the same material they used to make those unbreakable drinkware. I had the older wired 2.1 HK, they are pretty durable.
Having owned the Aura and the original SoundSticks (2005 and they still work being used daily) I can honestly say that dirt buildup with this design is not a big problem. I found a few moths in the SoundSticks last summer and I just turned it over and shook them out. Dust may build up in there but nothing that a can of air can't fix. Have no fear- these will stand the test of time and always be a conversational piece.

@@OCMANMEDIA Thanks for this. This is what I was looking for. Comments about the bass. When you said it was smaller than what you expected, i got worried that it won't give the bass I want. I still believe in big speakers. Just making sure I blast it when neighbors aren't around.
@@RosannaNavarro Yes the Aura Studio 2 is a small but mighty sounding speaker. and trust me the bass is rattling at least in my opinion but you might actually want more bass than that, but it is one speaker with the biggest bass I have tested so far. Just go and test it in a shop and see what you think.
Then I pretty much have a good idea how good the bass is! I have a suggestion. Try putting it on a wooden furniture; table, empty shelf or even a chair. Does the bass make use of the wood? Then the bass is amplified.

banubash yeah the speaker looks beautiful, sounds good, might be a little darker sound if you are used to brighter sounding speakers. Another disadvantage is the opening on the top makes it easy to collect dust and particles depending on how you keep it, other than that it is a great speaker. I have heard so many good things about the Go +play I hope to get my hands on one to do a review and comparisons I think it might be a tough contender.
I absolutely Love the speaker.. I just upgraded from a JBL4.. I live in a small 2bdrm condo, and the speaker fills the condo fantastically... like you say, it is a bit pricey, but well worth the purchase.. I have gone from the Bose, to the Jbl, to this speaker... Great video... thanks

Great review !!! But aura is not older version of aura2 studio. They are just different kind of speaker. Aura support wifi and dlna audio Eventhough they have exactly same speaker layouts. That's why aura is more expensive

I have two Harman Kardon Invoke speakers and their real minus for me is you cant connect them to play like dual speakers at the same time. You can use only one speaker and that is really disadvantage

I just bought a HK aura studio 2 last week, and I love it. I agree with most all of what you said. I would caution, that you said you can pair up two for a stereo sound. From everything I have read, that is not the case. You can pair two together to get more volume, but you cannot split the channels left and right to gain stereo. Both speakers will play the exact same audio. Other than that, the only disappointments I have are very minor. I really wish there was an app to control the speaker. I find the controls on the speaker itself difficult to find and use, especially in the dark. And it would be nice to be able to power the speaker on and off remotely. For the price, I think this is a notable omission. Also, a previous version if the speaker had some kind of Bluetooth party mode, whereby a number of devices can be connected and send audio to the speaker. This would be really nice for when people are over. As it is, people will constantly be saying "play this song" or there will be constant pairing and unpairing. I love the ambient light, but wish it had multiple colors.

And yes you are right about the stereo pairing, it was my mistake reading from my script😭, I meant to say 'dual sound' not stereo sound, but I noted the mistake to everyone with a pinned comment many months ago, I just recently unpinned the comment, I guess I have to note it again somewhere. I appreciate you letting me know tho. And Yes I absolutely love the Aura studio 2, in my opinion if it was somehow sealed and had internal battery and a remote, it would have been the Perfect speaker. Also like you said, being able to pair with multiple devices at one time would also be a great idea. Despite the draw backs I still like the speaker tho, I think its very unique and beautiful for the home and sounds great too. However my search continues for the perfect home speaker that dosent break the bank 😀
great review, heard the white aura 1 my friend's mom had, I linked in and was jamming dubstep so loud!!1 this speaker sounded like I was at the club!!! I gotta get teh studio2 to take outside w me at BBQs and pool time, wherever, this thing makes every moment so much more enjoyable as listening to music the right way makes life so much more enjoyable. It kicks dubstep Zomboy, Doctor P... BUT pretty much anything you listen to will sound amazing.
TAC0FACE yeah absolutely the sound is really big! I’m sad it’s not portable and water Proof so I always worry about how to run power cable and also possible water damage outside. But once I manage to get the speaker sounding and everyone is dancing I forget all the worries.
I think the Apple HomePod sounds a lot better even though this is slightly louder. I feel this needs more base and bottom end rumble which I love in the Apple HomePod. This is just my opinion since I have both of them.

Perfect review! Actually, I've been considering to buy this for nearly two years lol~ because I'm a bass lover. But its price is a little bit too high in Taiwan. Hope that I can trigger myself to get it in this winter vacation🤣
Thanks for the comment, yeah the bass is really heavy on this, if you love bass then you will be happy with it, just be careful with the opening on the Top, if anything falls in the hole it might be very hard to bring out, apart from that I love the speaker, it looks beautiful in the home and attracts attention. And yeah very pricy too lool.

So far, I have not heard any small speaker better, in terms of audio quality, than the Harman GO+PLAY wireless, even though it is portable.

Great review !!! But aura is not older version of aura2 studio. They are just different kind of speaker.
Aura support wifi and dlna audio
Eventhough they have exactly same speaker layouts.
That's why aura is more expensive

I have two Harman Kardon Invoke speakers and their real minus for me is you cant connect them to play like dual speakers at the same time. You can use only one speaker and that is really disadvantage

i saw this at first in a cafe, i thought it was just a decoration or air purifier until i asked the waitress where does the music coming from.
I just bought a HK aura studio 2 last week, and I love it. I agree with most all of what you said.
I would caution, that you said you can pair up two for a stereo sound. From everything I have read, that is not the case. You can pair two together to get more volume, but you cannot split the channels left and right to gain stereo. Both speakers will play the exact same audio.
Other than that, the only disappointments I have are very minor.
I really wish there was an app to control the speaker. I find the controls on the speaker itself difficult to find and use, especially in the dark. And it would be nice to be able to power the speaker on and off remotely. For the price, I think this is a notable omission.
Also, a previous version if the speaker had some kind of Bluetooth party mode, whereby a number of devices can be connected and send audio to the speaker. This would be really nice for when people are over. As it is, people will constantly be saying "play this song" or there will be constant pairing and unpairing.
I love the ambient light, but wish it had multiple colors.

And Yes I absolutely love the Aura studio 2, in my opinion if it was somehow sealed and had internal battery and a remote, it would have been the Perfect speaker. Also like you said, being able to pair with multiple devices at one time would also be a great idea.
Despite the draw backs I still like the speaker tho, I think its very unique and beautiful for the home and sounds great too. However my search continues for the perfect home speaker that dosent break the bank 😀

great review, heard the white aura 1 my friend's mom had, I linked in and was jamming dubstep so loud!!1 this speaker sounded like I was at the club!!! I gotta get teh studio2 to take outside w me at BBQs and pool time, wherever, this thing makes every moment so much more enjoyable as listening to music the right way makes life so much more enjoyable. It kicks dubstep Zomboy, Doctor P... BUT pretty much anything you listen to will sound amazing.
TAC0FACE yeah absolutely the sound is really big! I’m sad it’s not portable and water Proof so I always worry about how to run power cable and also possible water damage outside. But once I manage to get the speaker sounding and everyone is dancing I forget all the worries.
Yea I feel that the wire is a problem and most ppl got plugs by the pool but that doesn't stop the water splashes. Good points.

I think the Apple HomePod sounds a lot better even though this is slightly louder. I feel this needs more base and bottom end rumble which I love in the Apple HomePod. This is just my opinion since I have both of them.

Thanks for the comment, yeah the bass is really heavy on this, if you love bass then you will be happy with it, just be careful with the opening on the Top, if anything falls in the hole it might be very hard to bring out, apart from that I love the speaker, it looks beautiful in the home and attracts attention. And yeah very pricy too lool.
