I have difficulty in understanding how the current source is replaced at different position at 38:07. In the previous position of current source, current was going upwards throough C2. But after the replacement current is going downwards through C2. How are the two cases equivalent?
Thank you very much professor Ali for this explination, I used to search over and over about how to determine the amplitude of ocsillation and I did not get the right anwer. Now I got the answer.
Either 'describing functions' are beyond the scope of this lecture, or I got thoroughly lost in the way they were introduced here. The purpose got lost in the details, until the highlights emerged in the end.

at 38:00 what kind of approximation has to be done to obtain an equivalent current source of that magnitude? Thank you.
16:00 a more accurate expression for a Colpitts oscillation model
Thanks professor

at 8:32,the expression of T lacks of minus sign
