That is what differentiates Lin Dan from other players of his time, such as Taufik, Lcw, Peter, Lin Dan is the one who plays very neatly and makes minimal mistakes.
I've following badminton for over 15 yrs and still remember this period when Axelsen finally able to win his first Superseries title in 2016 Superseries Finals went on a run of good performances and was looking very strong coming to this 2017 All England. As for LD who didn't perform well at German Open prior to this was supposed to be the underdog in this match, but LD was able to stop Axelsen.
LD in this match was the strongest in the past, around 2013~2014, and his physicality, footwork, and reaction can be seen everywhere. However, it was difficult to maintain this quality and conduct a world tour. In fact, after the 2017 year, his performance and mental control became extremely difficult.
@@ammarharith5512 oh because the whole match is too long and I love LCW in my opinion he is always the goat, but, I also thinks that Lindan perform really good on that match so I wanna please finder could do the highlights
Agreed! Players who can beat Axelsen are actually players who can penetrate his defense. Momota, LCW and CL also could. Even current players can defend a few attacking waves of Axelsen, but they don't know how to score point on Axelsen and ended up making mistakes.
I feel that this victory meant the most to Lin Dan in the last few years of his career, you can tell by his celebration.... because he lost to Axelsen in the Rio bronze match... while CL is more of a teammate, and LCW he conquered more than a decade ago.
Had Axelsen been in the same era when Peter, Taufik, LD, LCW, Chen Long, Chen Jin were in their prime, he would not have had even one olympic or world championship medal. No doubt, he is a wonderful player, but does not match the skill and prowess of these players in their prime.
Lin Dan was still that strong in 2017 even he was over 33 years old!!
Young prime Lindan is unstoppable

Lin Dan was so damn ancient already lol
Still beating down

Yapper.
His problem was stamina. Couldn't play that aggresive as he used to and had to change his playstyle a lot.
he doesn't need to win or aim anything after 2016 Olympic actually
the only reason he kept playing is to complete his contracts, not to win these plebs.
his knee injury ruin the best form of lindan
when are u gonna do lindan vs lee chong wei 2008 highligh!!!!!😅
What tournament?

@@ammarharith5512 I comment down before so I guess he knew
@@nightdream5837 He won't do it. It's not even a match, and damn it made you sounded like a LCW hater too.

Lindan overhead is deadly even at old age, what a goat

我没有想那么远,我昨天只想到今天的决赛,中国队所有的教练都坐在那边,我必须要通过每一场比赛去证明自己,让他们觉得林丹虽然今年33岁但还可以做到
这应该是16年全英采访说的?
Viktor couldnt do anything in 2008-2018 because LinD and LCW were there
Except winning bronze at the olympics against Lin Dan at 22? and later that year he won world championships also against Lin Dan😂
Chen long also
In 2008 Viktor was 14 lol
..... what about 2017 world champ ..... who won ?
@tuankhahuynh you just didn’t like Victor
Lin dan is a beast....first round analyzing axelsen plays ...then exausting and crushing him😮
Best of the Badminton, LD
想看石头今年全英和格姆克的那一场
so good,if i can see in bilibili then that better
After the olympics, come back to watch this again. a lot of different for axelsen.
Lindan 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
seandainya usia nya mereka sama,ga akan pernah axelsen ini menjadi ranking 1 dunia😀

Badminton standard now is so shit even axelsen is no 1 💀💀
legends don't come in queque, all we can do is wait.
Lindan > Axelcrap He just won 2 Olympic because all his opponents are whimps
Hes no Match for prime Lindan/Chong Wei
Axelson will always remain a beta. He will never reach the elegance and skill of LD, LCW or Taufik Hidayat.
