mike , I called corvette world in Dallas for the purpose of discussing and information on 2 C8’ s the person that took my call was busy with a customer. He said he call me back. 5 hours have passed and no call back
Ladies and Gentlemen let me introduce you to the only Corvette Reseller whose prices keep going up despite a recession. Damn these prices are crazy high. Honestly this is hilarious. Bet they sell a C8 1LZ for $140,000.00.
That’s why the showroom is packed with cars. No one is wanting to be scalped. Greed sucks and I hope these people find out. I’ve got one on order for MSRP.
Great video. So much for "the car that the normal everyday people can afford". I remember when the c8 was released and the guy said it would out perform cars that were 100+k, lol.
I just got mine 2023 with everything on it including carbon fiber roof with an extra glass roof 3 lt all for 104

Could you show the lock they left off of the 23 compared to like a 22 where they still had the lock that you could open the engine bay trunk also

You know Z06's, in particular, were driven hard. Why would you buy a Z06?. . to race 'em.
Impulsive buyers create higher prices by allowing dealers to exploit them.
It's a business, I got it. Got to make a profit to stay in business. There's profit and then there's exploitation driven by greed.
Interesting to know the histories of the low mileage, high priced inventory? Why are nearly new low mileage [used] C8's being sold? Are they repos?. . Customer dissatisfaction?. . Did their prospective buyer(s) default?-- (Change their mind?)
How will out-of-state customers be treated if the car they recently purchased from, Corvette World, has mechanical problems? Will they be forced to ship their car back to Corvette World? If so, at whose expense?
It’s a shame that people are buying cars only to flip them, and taking away from people that truly want the car to own it, drive it and enjoy it.
You’d think for a retailer named “corvette world” that they’d be more sympathetic to the consumer and would want to provide a more realistic price that’s conducive to the current economic conditions. Or just want to get these cars into hands of enthusiasts who wanna put them on the road, and not kept in some showroom.
Ive been scowering the webs to find the blue racing stripes and you found one! My build is white with blue stripe but i gambled because i couldnt find a real life example. Now i cant wait to see it on my c8! Thanks!!

Great looking cars but it makes me sick to my stomach to know that base model Corvettes are being sold at $100,000+. These are $60,000 cars all day long.
What are you smoking? Mine was just under 100k (over with customizations).
Almost nobody is getting the basic package (which is now just under 70k). They are certainly not 60k cars.
Anyone who buys from here is a damn fool. So many dealers do MSRP on ordered cars it’s easy to get one without paying any markup.
@@SireEvalish I bought my first Corvette from Corvette World of Houston and I got a good deal. But a lot of dealers are raping people right now because of the piss poor economy we have and limited number of C8s made the first year. Eventually the recession will hit hard and these idiots who bought a $60,000 car for $100k will be hating life.

They have all those cars because the market is drying up. Be selling those for 15 under MSRP in the not too distant future.
Really? C7's aren't even selling for $15,000 under stcker yet....let alone a C8. Very silly comment and wayyyyyy off. Those lucky enough to get a C8 know they are driving for free with no depreciation for 2-3 years. Especially since the price will continue to increase.

@@blazenm1 after 10 month wait, I took delivery of my 2022 Coupe on April 28th. A month later, the same car as a 2023 with the same options was $3500 more. In April, my dealer delivered two C8s. The other one the dealer bought back and sold it in 5 days for $11k over sticker. BTW, the dealer sells new ones at sticker. It’s their policy - no ADM.
C8 pricing dropping fast every week pretty soon by thanksgiving there should be no premiums left

I love you man. Robert too. But we're going to need to work through a reality check on pricing. Maybe it's time to get to grips with used cars actually depreciating (I know, sounds remarkable, but aside from the last two years, that's truth). I realize many dealers and even some owners bought at values that aren't supportable anymore, but it may be time to cut bait and accept the market correction is not just ongoing, but may accelerate to realistic values. Seems as though dealers are holding out for folks that a living in an information vacuum. Why pay this much?
Refuse to get robbed. Chill out. Prices WILL come down.

I stopped in at Corvette world.. nice folks... But man they are going to be holding allot of inventory as the market weakens.
They are packed to the brim because no one in their right mind would pay 100k for these builds. They aren't even Z
06 versions. Once the prices become more reasonable I'm they'll sell 1 or 2 😀
Plenty of people paid that much, they've been over 100k since they came out.

all those are marked up a lot. Would never pay more than msrp for one. the only reason they mark them up is because people are crazy enough to buy them, if people would not pay the insane markup prices they would drop the prices. Let those things sit on the lot for a year or so and watch what happens.
You do realIze a regular person can order a vette get it at sticker and resell it… the market for the car is higher than sticker cost unless you wait for them to make you one

I would NEVER buy from Corvette World he is part of the problem with flipping cars he had at least 4 2023 cars with 59 miles bought from the same dealership. This is why GM did what they did on the Z06
With the collapse of the car bubble, the Z06 price will need to be cut in half.

The reason probably why it's so packed in there is because Corvette prices are going down and they are staying up at that dealership there you're not falling as good as you the other dealers are

Those cars are so over price, I though Chevrolet was going to stop that crap! It's bullshit how 80K car is marked up 20K or 30K. I hope no one buys them cars lol.
Here's the thing. This place isn't an authorized Chevy dealership. All the cars are used cars! Being used cars they can sell them at any price.

All are still too expensive. This will change soon, the car market bubble will burst soon.
I grew to not really like the C8. It just doesn’t do it for me. Mainly because I feel they are becoming very common currently on the road. Not that special but the look is a little strange
No wonder there are so many Corvettes there. Charging way over what they cost new is criminal. More like Corvette (rip off) World. But a sucker is born every minute. Maybe people who don't know they are being over charged will buy one.
