The NC500 is a 516 mile route consisting of stunning coastal scenery, white sandy beaches, rugged mountains, remote fishing villages, hidden gems, and a wealth of unforgettable experiences, and in this series we want to find out whether the North Coast 500 is the world’s most beautiful van life road trip !
In today's video we continue our journey along the West of Scotland driving through its never ending beauty. Today we visit an amazing waterfall, isolated beach & also find our favourite park up so far !

Another cracking video, yeah the lay-by you parked in was one of my fav👍. For many years I drove my 18tonne truck around the NC500 before it came the NC500. I have to say though that lay-by was my fav especially in Autumn/Winter time as the colours, light and dark clouds delivering heavy rain or snow had more drama than any Netflix box set…….and being buffered by 100 mph winds just added to the drama lol.👍

Another incredible and video with a variety of beautiful landscapes. In my opinion the temps are much more pleasant than currently in Malta, but this is of course a personal feeling.Let's hope some more of these clips are coming!

Peoples view of it might be different if they did West to East though I suspect? the way you did it is the best I reckon.
Q. How do you know you're tired?
A. When you spill coffee all over the seats .... & pasta all over the 'General Purpose food preparation area' 🤣 (Sorry Charlene, you were having a bad day my lovely)🙄
Anyway, you had made me feel like getting my exploring head on again & going & doing it! so well done!

Hi Travel Tales A very enjoyable part of the NC500. As a long exiled Scot it made me pine for the North Of Scotland, there is no place like it, I do not care what anyone says, its the best ,apart from the midges. Speaking about cold we were on the Isle of Skye about 35 years or so ago in August, it was Sunny but in the morning there was frost on the top of my car! August. Regards Crawford
