Being born and raised in Louisville and being a Louisville fan, watching Lamar come in and completly turn us in to contenders and have us dominating or being in every game I knew he was the best football player I have ever seen in my life. Hands down. And I still believe that hope he gets this ring it will mean so much for so many people
Keep up that passion and it’ll pay off. Thanks for the great research and hard work you put into this. I remember seeing Tom Grossi first start, you got this!
Incredible video across the board from story telling and editing. You check all the boxes like MVP Lamar Jackson. Had to subscribe. As someone who has been on the Lamar Jackson bandwagon since his Freshman year at Louisville, and even knew his mother was influential as part of insisting he played QB, I had no idea of that background of her preparing him to play QB ever since grade school. Felicia Jones is a phenomenal woman and all that hard work and preparation by Lamar is paying off. He goes on to win a Super Bowl and this is arguably one of the greatest stories in the history of sports. Also one of the most inspiring stories for kids of all colors/creeds that despite whatever limitations that other ppl may put on your potential, with faith and hard work and opportunity you can prove them all wrong.
What's crazy is that Lamar is already a Hall of Famer. He's going to win MVP this year. Based off of history, there are 10 players to win multiple AP MVP awards. Eight of them are in the Hall of Fame. One of them is Tom Brady (who's getting in). The other is Patrick Mahomes, who will get in when the time comes. Especially if he wins a ring this year, he's in. Not bad for a running back. Crushed it as always. Gonna hit 100K by the Super Bowl I can feel it
😂😂😂 NO HES NOT he’s only good in the REGULAR season even if he won a super bowl he would not get in he would need a lot more years his injury history and 2-4 playoff record will keep him out
It's crazy to me that Lamar is even expected to be the MVP this year. I feel like CMC, Tyreek Hill and even Dak Prescott had better years statistically than Lamar did.
Your channel is amazing. New sub and looking forward to seeing more of your content. Ravens fan since they moved to Baltimore and absolutely love Lamar.
I was at his first home game his sophomore year when he had 8 tds in the first half. After that me and my family got season tickets and had them ever since. Lamar is awesome
Excellent video I love your content! Also thanks for shedding a light on what Lamar had to overcome at a young age. It really highlights his character.
You are awesome as a content creator. Your communication and research skills are on another level.....appreciate the great content. Keep rising and God bless
This is needed! I hate the critics and haters because they’ve always have something negative to say! They forget it took Elway and Jordan years to win a championship. All he needs is a good RB, WR, TE, and it’s a wrap!
Let's be honest if Lamar Jackson left Baltimore in which he didn't the Ravens would not be where they are right now as the #1 Seed the AFC Division Champs no Home Field Advantage and definitely no 1st Round Bye either 14:04
I LOVE this channel so much ❤️! I'm so glad I found it a few months ago. Since then I have officially fallen in love with the host. @@phyllisphyllis2301 I’m a Bills fan but Lamar and Allen are the two best dual threat QBs and had to bust their asses off to become elite QBs. Lamar was just misunderstood as a QB (a lot of his skill and speed came from his Mom’s training). They are both humble and class acts. Go Ravens! Let’s send Patty back home!
I had no idea 2016 was his 1st full season and to think in 2017, his stats were better! It's kind of sad that folks are really missing a generational talent
Good video and I really like how you detailed the video I feel awful for Lamar Jackson and what he’s gone through see it’s people like you that inspire me fantastic work Lauren keep it up girl.
Brandon Aiyuk could make for a good video. The tragic loss of his son, being sat out of games, and getting called out by coaches. To now being one of the leagues best receivers. And that’s without knowing anything about his story before going pro.
Lamar is a private guy . You rarely see him out partying. You rarely ever see him disrespecting someone . One of the main things we did know about Lamar is that his mom is his biggest supporter and his manager.
Same here I’m from Campbellsville but I’ve always been a Louisville fan #FBBN Crazy thing is how bad those teams really were. He did that by himself for real didn’t realize until after he left, I remember wanting Lamar to go to the NFL after his junior year so we would not lose Puma Pass didn’t work out well
I remember driving into work on the day of Louisville's blowout upset of FSU. No games were on the local radio, but I wanted to be able to talk about the scores when I got in, so I tuned into ESPN to hear the scores and quick recaps. There was a bunch of talk about how Lamar's absurd dominance of Syracuse and Charlotte was just a fluke of weak competition, and he'd be exposed as soon as he had to play real teams like FSU and Clemson, so when I heard "63-20" I figured alright, FSU did what everyone thought they'd do. Lamar's a fun story, but he's just one kid, and FSU was a juggernaut, three years removed from an undefeated national title and with 10+ wins in five of the last six years. #2 ranked Goliath brought upstart David back to reality like we all expected. Then they said it was Louisville who won by 40+ and my jaw dropped. FSU was one of the true powerhouses in football, seemed primed to make another run at a national title. They lost to Louisville? This kid from south Florida scored five touchdowns on a defense with multiple future first-rounders? That was the moment I knew Lamar was going to be a truly special player. He completely eviscerated one of college football's dominant teams at their peak, and looking at the rest of Louisville's roster that year, he did it almost singlehandedly. In the six years before that game, FSU was 70-14. In the six years after that game, FSU went 44-38. He didn't just beat them, he beat them so bad he broke them for years.
There was a soul crushing drop immediately preceding the interception. However the concussion against buffalo was a league sponsored dirty hit. I saw that done on Cam Newton in the first game of the 2016 season. I don't recall this angle being shown in the broadcast. It takes a coordinated effort between players knowing they're not getting the a suspension or even a flag for going low and high on a guy to intentionally injure a guy with this much impunity. Had they done the exact same thing to Josh Allen they'd have been suspended. Thanks for showing us that angle. I have a new found contempt for league officiating. Instead of promoting their must see TV talent they're trying to kill the man that isn't in their script and business model. Not cool.
I agree. It will come. Unlike sports opinion hosts who clearly don't like Lamar Jackson like Emmanuel Acho, Stephen A. Smith, LaVar Arrington, and Nick Wright, I'm keeping the faith. I know Lamar Jackson has plenty of time, and so does another Lamar Jackson critic Shannon Sharpe. Sharpe should know better because his QB in Denver, John Elway required about 12 years before he won his first Super Bowl. What did Elway have when he won his first SB... 3 HoFers. As I type this Lamar Jackson has only maybe 2, Mark Andrews and Derrick Henry.
Call me what you want. There are very very few females that I believe should be commentating on male sports. You're one of them because of many reasons but to put it simply you could sit in a room full of dudes and probably know more about sports than 6-7 of them. You talk about sports the way me and my friends would. It sounds sexist but it's a high compliment and show of respect. I'd listen to you talk all day at work.
This year seemed to be his best chance, had the worst Chiefs team he had ever faced, at home to go to the SB and lost. Not saying he will never get a SB ring.
@SheGotSports Patrick Mahomes doesn't need any help from a curse, he'll be able to beat Lamar on the field.👍👍 I'm just curious what was the overwhelming tragedy hardship of his childhood? No hate intended I'm just asking cuz I guess I missed something? I mean now he lost his grandma and Dad but, he had a mom who was hugely involved and impactful. So yeah he had advantages of a lot of kids never get so yeah, I guess I'm just kind of cynical😂

Also he got 6 Receivers that can catch not to mention he can run all over the place....it's just common sense
