I would love to do it again - with all the discomfort as compared to a hotel night I had the best nights in Iceland in the tent and the most beautiful mornings too
I don't really have a comparison to another tent - There is good ventilation in the Lone Rider tent and you can open it up even more - however, I did not due to the cold temperature and I had condensation in the tent - even ice on cold nights. On windy nights I had very little condensation so cross ventilation in the tent does make a difference.
I never understand why tent manufacturers make any tent that needs the inner pitched first… if it’s absolutely pouring down with rain it truly sucks watching your inner tent turn into a paddling pool as you clip it together
There is a way to setup the Lone Rider tent with the outer shell first - and also take it down with the inner tent first. It takes a bit of practice and I managed to break a little plastic piece while I was giving it a dry run before the trip - so it is a bit harder to do. I did use this technique once during the trip in Iceland which safed the inner tent from getting wet
@ it just seems so daft that keeping your sleeping area dry is not the number 1 thing a tent designer has on his list of ingredients for a great tent. There are a few that pitch either fly or inner first but they genuinely are rare. Nearly all tents pitch inner first. It makes no sense.
@@Bigfoot-Rides I would not know that much about designing a good tent - at least the Lone Rider tent will give you the option which is great - most of the time the weather was good enough for me to start with the inner tent
hello my friend. I have a Lonerider tent I'm going to use it this year. thank you for your video
Have a great time with it - have you narrowed down where you would like to go?
@@MotoVibes wild camping, cooking
Well it's a nice tent but my decathlon mh100 is still going strong after 3 years of motorcycle camping. Even in hot cold and wet weather conditions.
that sounds great - thank you for sharing your experience 👍
Much Enjoyment 👍😎
thank you Skuli 😎
Hello. Nice video. Thanks 👍😊

They make a zenbivy -20 quilt now
wow - thank you for letting me know
We’re never going to see you camp ever again Oliver, are we?😂
“You’ve got the t shirt” as we say.

@@MotoVibes I’ll believe it when I see it 😂. At this point I’ve probably watched all your videos twice, I know you better than you know yourself 😉.
@@arcticcraic maybe I get to prove you wrong some day 😂
