Correction: 8:50 Samorost 3 was actually announced back in October 2013, February 2016 was just the announcement of it's release date.

Hello! I really enjoyed your video and how you approached Amanita Design's content. I just wanted to point out a minor discrepancy. You mentioned that the developers anticipated viewers to follow a RUclips tutorial, but in reality, that's not the case. When playing Machinarium, the intended experience involves dedicating extended periods of time. For instance, you might tackle one section one day, another section on a different day, and if you encounter difficulties, you can resort to the small key puzzle for assistance.

also reuploaded this due to a couple editing errors and the crappy audio quality.

first got introduced to them with questionaut while playing those bbc bitesize educational flash games for class in elementary school, played machinarium and samorost 1+2 later on when i got my first pc, and i just now played samorost 3. i looked up amanita retrospective on a whim not expecting anyone to have actually made the video so this was super cool to see. very well made video! machinarium is special for me but ngl i think samorost 3 might have it beat.

Hello... as you've warned, your Czech is terrible, but this video essay is not, far from it. I think Amanita design occupies an important space in the indie game universe, as well as being a significant element of bringing Czech culture westward during the last twenty years. Thanks for your analysis.
