We purchased Digger, but were wondering if we can attach it to shovels and pick axes in game. We are trying to add in mining like in Mine Craft. Using a pick ax count. Every 5 swings with the pick ax, it will spawn and drop a few mineral rich rocks to be picked up by the player. The swing count and mineral rock spawn from the pick ax is easy but having the mining pick ax dig into the terrain is another challenge. We were thinking Digger could be applied to a tool like the pick ax. We are also testing the ax spawning mineral rocks or gems if it is only wihtin a collider zone. This way players are not pick axing the village grounds, but can pick around remote designated areas.
Sure you can use it to dig with a shovel. But it's up to you to create a script that calls 'Modify' method of DiggerMasterRuntime. If you have any trouble using it, please contact me on Discord ;)

I was wandering Can physics be used with Digger PRO in such a way that after you dig a tunnel for example you will have to provide a support otherwise the dirt will collapse inward . we are researching a way to develop a 3D mine building game in post apocalyptic world that most of the game is underground and collapse is a main concern

There is no such feature and it would actually be quite complicated to implement.

Are you able to use Digger Pro if the Terrain has a Custom Shader Material? Or is it only exclusive to the Built In Shader?
No unfortunately it only works with built-in shader and CTS (partially)
