    I have been making gaskets for years for motors that dealers say are unavailable. Take your time and they will work very well.

    Mike, Nice video. Watching the video I see that when you removed yoke on the end of the driveshaft, it looked like the washer was between the yoke and tapered roller bearing. You can see it as it falls down behind the yoke at around 3:06-3:25 of the video. I would assume that washer applies pressure to the tapered roller bearing or at least keeps the spacing proper. I'm not sure HOW you can get it to stay put unless you tilt the gearcase OR use grease to hold the washer in place.
