      I mean I think it makes sense why the reporter thought she couldn't just straight up ask him "are you worried about being fired?" because of the usual nba politics and whatnot. For example it would look bad either way if he answered that question with a yes or no because of how he got his job.

      Extremes on either end aren't a good place to be. Being overly optimistic or overly pessimistic don't lead to good places. Findinf middle ground should be the goal

    Are we really forgetting that this man is a rookie coach? The thing is people won't be pressuring him this much without the circumstances of succeeding Darvin Ham and coaching for the Lakers. Had he debut somewhere else, ppl won't be grilling him too much. But I feel like JJ is that kind of guy, he's him, he faces challenges headstrong.       My guess would be that he’s probably regretting that he took the job, and he can’t really cop to it or even admit it to himself fully.
      I don’t think he’s gonna be in this job probably for more than a year or something, then right back to YouTubing.
      Most likely the Lakers are gonna go into a rebuild after LeBron retires, would be my guess. If I’m being really honest, they should probably start doing that now.
