I will share the pros and cons of both machines and give my opinion on each of them. Watch as I pull a shot from them both and give a taste test review. I watched this as the owner of Bianca also previous owner of R58 which I went inside both machine in and out
The R58 just 'looked' more rigid due to the a little thicker metal case and edges (though the same grade as the metal Bianca used). Other than that I think no Rocket could beat Bianca at all (even the additional screen which require more space to put on though you said it was removable but it still awkward to put it in and out every time you need to adjust something) unless it was the R91 the great 👍. The internal design and the ergonomic of Bianca in both machine and equipment was better since it was easy to clean and safe to use with less of edges also the design of the internal stuff was simple but efficient and better spec. The flow control was more practical in Bianca too since the additional flow control required more motion in usage while the espresso extraction was so fast and it will made you look awkward and clumsy to do the flow control than Bianca.
Even compared to Bianca , Apartmentto was cheaper and still could be the all rounder but I think it should be compared to HX machine like lower model of Lelit instead as the same class machine.

Joe thanks so much for all the details I have a friend who's looking at the r58 and I told him the Bianca seems to have more value so its good to here that from an owner. the only reason I compared these two is I have them both in the house currently pretty much the only reason but I kinda wanted to see what a higher end e61 vs lower end would result in

Totally agree both are great. Flow control = amazing
The main Lelit advantage is that it’s a dual boiler. So your coffee water temperature is not dependant on steaming. You can actually regulate water temperature within a degree or two. On any hx machine, even Mara x or sanremo cube, where there is a PID you still fall into a range of 3 degrees or so and your coffee water temperature is more dependant on boiler pressure. Plus you don’t loose steam power when lowering temperature.
Yeah I agree but the real innovative stand out feature atleast in my opinion I’d the flow profiler. Since there are plenty of dual boiler machines out there and not many with flow profilers

Hi Joe, how would compare these coffee makers with the Breville line that uses 54mm porta filters?. I am asking for one important reason. I tried the Brevlle Barista Pro for a few weeks, but am still not satisfied with the quality of the espresso shots, and I returned it. But if you think the espresso quality is much better on either of the two you demonstrated here, I might have to go with one of them.
Yeah these are definitely a jump up as soon as you get to a 58mm portafilter it makes a decent difference. But more then likely the biggest difference you will see is if you get a higher end grinder that’s the biggest down side to brevilles all in ones

How much louder is the Appartamento vs Bianca?
Not as much a as s some other vibratory machines but it’s noticeable I can do a decibel reading if you want

I don't think comparing shots on machines that aren't both setup correctly has a lot of meaning. Its nice that there was still a drinkable espresso on the rocket, but take the 5-10 mins to get a tool and adjust it. I watched James Hoffman compare a few machines and not fix any of them before comparing the shots. Case in point, you took the time to film and edit an unbox the appartamento but not to set the machine. Apples to apples not excuses please. Useful video otherwise, thanks

I disagree rocket can pull a great shot especially if you lower the bar to 9. The only difference is that rocket is not a dual boiler

Completely wrong comparising between different class machines. You should compare Appartamento with Mara X.
Lelit is not that much bigger. Width is basically the same…little bit taller and deeper. WTH are you even saying🙃? Build quality is also sooooo much better on the Bianca. Omg this could be the dumbest comparison review ever.
