Researched espresso machines for almost 3 years, mainly for fun. I had some extra cash and decided that I didn’t want to pay for all the crazy features in the Decent. I like to tinker but want something elegant and approachable. My V3 arrives next week- super excited. I came to that conclusion after watching one of your videos! Thanks for helping me finally pull the very expensive trigger

I’ve ordered a Bianca v3 and i’m receiving it next week. I’m from Greece and here (in Europe in general) it’s even greater as a value for money option. Around €2100 depending on your local VAT and the Profitec 700 and the Synchronica are almost 30% more not including the flow control kit which is around €250 on its own. So the Bianca here is on a league of her own as a VFM option.

Nice video again, the quality keeps getting higher and higher! I'm from Canada too "Quebec" and I just bought last week a chrome "Bianca V3" to replace the "Rocket Mozzafiato Type V" my mom had and it's night and day! I was really lucky I found a store demo 100% brand new and unused at a Ontario kitchen store that's not even specialized in coffee, and I paid only 3300$ before taxes instead of the current sale price of 3700$ everywhere else, like what a joke! Selling the Rocket 2600$ was a no brainer lol.
It's a shame the improved/fixed drip tray is only for the black version like why... and also that at such high asking price and made by hand in Italy not China, it still ships INCORRECTLY with a stupid high 10.5 Bar pump pressure! Thank at least it's super easy to fix on a rotary pump but it's a bad user experience for those who won't know and be using the machine wrong for 1-2 years out of 3.5 like I've done with my 2019's Rocket R58.
I can't see anyone in Canada getting any other E61 DB considering the extreme value of the Bianca V3. It has MORE features for LESS money so the choice is easily done! It sucks the BLACK edition cost a lot more when I bet it cost them even less to do than chrome 🙄 I did pre-order though a MaraX Black for my GF as I had a very good deal at only 2180$CAD before taxes so almost the price of the Chrome cause no way it is worth +500$ seriously.
The manual of the Bianca V3 is quite garbage, it entirely skips the most important feature and only thing I wanted to know, which was detailed in-depth explanations of every single LLC features 😓 If you can make a video about every settings in detail, that would be realllly cool!

Got Bianca V3 (standard color and loud dip tray) for a few weeks now and I think it would be great to make practical video about automating some profiles with pre-infusion (even though it's actually pre-brew) and low flow mode + combination of both. I love my Bianca, but there are few things..
I think it's a pitty Lelit didn't make it a little bit better for that times one doesn't want to use paddle at all. For example: being able to pick flow rate for low-flow would effectively make it a Slayer machine. Or being able to pick pre-infusion time in fraction of seconds (that would be surely just software thing).
I also found out that combination of both doesn't work as expected - I would expect 3" PI together with 3" low-flow start to do 3" PI in low flow but unfortunately for some reason low flow mode valve is always engaged after first 3 seconds (first 3 seconds are always full flow).
So for me, there was only one use-case which was making sense and it was 3" PI on (which covered my portafilter with drops, so I would probably pick 2.5"), 10" (or whatever time for blooming) PI off, then normal flow and low flow final (eg. 25", for last 1/3 of shot, find that time prior setting this value or test first with paddle) to tame bitterness if needed.

I was tossing-up buying the three machines you mention this year. I eventually landed on the Bianca for the same reason you mention. Great price in Australia (compared to Profitec and ECM equivalents), far superior features without buying and installing optional extras, and the possibilities for experimenting are endless between the paddle and Lelit Control Centre.
I think for most people this is a better option than something like a Decent because it offers a long lasting, replaceable parts, simple control with a timeless look.
    Great Vid, mate. Thanks.

@@catsfan2937 I bought on a sale and shopped around for the best deal. Mine was around $4150. If you consider the features in the LCC, the two portafilters (one bottomless), flow profiling, mains plumbing kit, 15 heat up, it ends up being the best bang for buck at this price range. There are cheaper machines and ones far more expensive, but if you have the budget it’s well worth it. I’ve now had it for around 6 months and I’ve loved using it every day.

    Hi Kyle,
I decided to buy the Bianca v3 after having watched your previous glowing reviews on the v1/v2. I'm also in Canada and was able to buy it from an online distributor here for several hundred less than the price you showed. I'd recommend anyone in Canada considering this machine to do their research and contact the distributors regarding price since there appears to be wiggle room.
Having said that, I personally have yet to use the v3 features as I prefer the manual action of the paddle so definitely something to consider for others if they can find a v2.
    Cheers!

Love your videos Kyle. Very instructive. I’m still hesitating to go with an E61 machine because of the heat time and the power consumption. Electricity is relatively cheap in Canada but I ‘d like to try to save whenever I can. The problem is I can’t find a better machine than the Bianca when looking at fully saturated groups or thermobloc, except maybe for Ascaso Baby T in that price range. And even then, no FC… Even though I really like the black or white versions, I’m already pushing the envelop budget wise and I find the CAN $600 difference quite steep. Anything else I should be looking at from your perspective? Thanks!

Very intrigued by the decent but slightly concerned about cost vs longevity - in one way the tablet is a killer feature but concerned about how long that would actually last (no more than 3 years based on other tablets i've owned). Never had a problem with the v2 tray but I do like the look of the 3 better. But kin of disappointed they didn't paint the inside of the tray. I put a bar mat inside of mine because was tiered of looking at dirty water, if they had painted it it would have solved that. This is still a good deal compared to other machines because you get the flow paddle, wood and the bottomless portafilter but it does get closer in price to synchronka which the build quality is just better + switches which I prefer. This in the US where the ECM is now pretty close to the lelit v3 (but won't have the wood or the bottomless portafilter so this is still a good deal if you want those parts.
When the v2 went to $2600 I had to pick one up because that was the steal of the century. v3 not enough of a compelling change compared to the v2 but this is an amazing machine in all versions and I do like the black one (would look better with the dark wood)

I have a Flair 58 and use pre-wetting, pre-infusion, and low flow effortlessly and perfectly every shot. I have a SEP pressure meter and a Acaia Luna scale so can graph pressure/flow profiles every shot on my iPhone. I have to say, though, once you have learnt how to pull a shot, the analog pressure meter and the scale shot weight with a bottomless portafilter is all you need to pull a great shot. You can teach someone how to do this in 1-2 shots. The idea of futzing around with a paddle and an obscure UI to do just adequate pre-wetting and pre-infusion and to set flow rate and then having to change it all for different beans is not appealing.

Kyle could you consider making a guide to using the Bianca? I've had my V2 for years, but still have questions :)
    - What basket would you recommend getting?
    - Would you pull mainly 20g baskets, or what would you use?
    - How would you set the water temperature? I've had mine hard stuck on 94C
    - Do you think having the paddle all the way left should stop all flow?
    - I always try to aim my grind so, that when I have my paddle all the way left, I start getting a drip of coffee in the cup at around 10 seconds. Then I let it drip until I have roughly 25g in the cup, after which I turn the paddle back to minimum, which drops the pressure to around 6 bars. And I aim to have 40g in the cup between 35-40seconds (25-30seconds of coffee dripping in to the cup). Does this sound reasonable, or what other methods of brewing would you recommend?
