The white outfit Chris is wearing at the end of his video reminds me of the outfit in Red Lights and I 100% agree that his video is the best of the solos. I am a Han bias with Chris and Hyunjin as my wreckers, so this video wrecked me.
Ultra and Railway are my favourites of the solos, both songs and and mvs. As for Changbin dancing, he’s my favourite dancer for sure, him and Lee Know.
They slayed and served all categories the amount of wreckage! Out of all the music videos I love Felix’s and Chan’s a lot! Hyunjin is so good at performing and the vibes of the song is such a vibe . Loved Chan’s vampire lore and story line as well. Changbin is such a powerful man his solo is for sure my new hype song and Lee Knows was so comforting for me!
My vision of the music and the MV is kind of similar to what others said, but generalizing it, this is about obsession, add1ction, to whatever ( I think for him would be his job, the fame, stuff like that, but you can imagine your own add1ctions), that makes you lose control and leave caos behind, but you can't help it but do it, take its train, because the ride will feel amazing. It's like the thing your obsessed about is drawning you into it illusion. And the white Chan is like your consciousness, taking control of that urge to follow the train, but never killing it, because you'll never get rid of the want. All that said, I'm like in awe of this masterpiece, both music and MV, cause you can interpret it however you want or you feel like in the moment. This could also be about s** like everyone thought about first hahaha. I was expecting to be attacked by shirtless Chan but I'm loving this actor side of him! I'm a Han ult, ot8 bias, but Chan's video is crazy, my favorite overall, but they all bring such different feelings while we watch them.. all i can say is... we are so spoiled
han is my ult bias, but i can honestly say that chan's mv is definitely the most cinematic and best one out of the lot. it's dark, really dark for a kpop mv and gave us a horror vampire concept. there's so much to like about the mv. there's so much going on in it. the most common theory i've seen is that he's fighting his fighting inner demons, hence why he's fighting himself at the end. song wise my top three favorites are hold my hand, as we are, youth, and then all the others in fourth place. i love what they all put into with their solos, and it makes me look forward to seeing even more solos in the future. skz are my ult of ults for a reason, and i'm just always excited to see whatever they bring us next.

It's like a whole movie and his visuals and the dark atmosphere are chef's kiss! 😍 I was really nervous before the MV dropped cause the lyrics were so spicy but it really shocked me (in a good way) how different the MV is. I put together what I think Chan's song is about and ran it by numerous people on the groups on facebook. Seems to be a liked interpretation. Here it is if you would like to read it ❤ The interpretation of the mv and song I got was, it is about his obsession to overwork and not sleep. Just like Red Lights, also why you have a lot of red, to reference to red lights, could be to stop, could be a warning. We do know Chan likes to reference his issue with work obsession, as he did in Red lights. Here he is Vampire Chan(as per Chan) to start and he goes around turning people into himself, basically overworked Zombies...In Vampire lore if you drink the blood of a Vampire, he becomes your master. Which we see in the MV. So then enter 2nd Chan(good Chan) with the white eye on the other side. He comes in to stop obsessed Chan. He kills him and then goes to leave, but grabs his jacket. (You know he kills him because at the end you hear the zombie/vampires eating him and you see his shoes) Thus starting the cycle over again. Where he wakes up starving, for his work, he tried to be good and not obsessed...but he is what he is....and goes through it all over again. That is why it starts the same way it ends, with Chan being blown backwards. Channie has always said one thing he doesn't like is how obsessed he is and how he doesn't sleep but he can't stop. Tunnel vision, when he gets into producing he gets tunnel vision...this train never sleeps....wow....I thought this song was going one way but it went off another way. He also said he wasn't going to explain it and people can pull whatever they want out of it. 😊 He made it so others could see themselves and how they obsess and get into cycles. For him it is his music, overworking and not sleeping...for others it may be something else. They are trapped in that yard trying to get out...with illusions of being free because there is sun, but there is barbed wire and even though they are outside, they are not free. (Trapped in his mind) His baby in this, is his music. This train never sleeps as he is trying to finish the song but it is going to take a lot, so hold on tight and trust him. Need no breaks, no breaks....he can't stop until he is done. But doesn't he care about the casualties? Other people will suffer with being overworked but he can't help it because something is saying more please....the song isn't perfect, he needs to make it perfect. It is safe when it's just you and me (him and the song, so he doesn’t overwork those around him and have others obsessing too. It is only him getting hurt.) Railway, from one destination to another. From one song to another. It just keeps going, even when you finish one stop, there is another. At first I didn't think this mv or song fit together...but it actually does. The evil deed always returning to the one who committed it(what the sign reads)....he believes he hurts those around him with his obsession, (seeing himself as a sort of monster that hurts others) so in the end he is cursed to starts the vicious cycle again. Him being hurt with overworked obessession all because he put that on others, it comes back to him...He always puts such deep things in his songs. I do like that it took a different turn than I thought.
Ive already added ultra to my gym playlist. Planning to start going next month. I agree, this then ultra are my fave but all videos are awesome. Top 3 railway, ultra then unfair
Hi! I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve seen you on my tl 😭 so glad to see your reactions to these! (….especially railway 👀) I’ve left this on a couple of reactions of railway, and will share it here as well because I’m too lazy to type it out again lolll Now onto my theory for the RAILWAY MV: obviously he’s fighting against himself-he had a dream and the passion to go after it, to the point it consumed him and took over his everything. He NEEDED to keep going, losing sleep to work, sacrificing himself to make others happy no matter how much they stepped over him to do so, or how much he’d have to step on others to make the dreams come true. Maybe he got a bit cocky and obsessed with the success of it all/with his need to be loved and accepted by fans, and/or his constant need for control (aka the minions he’s creating in mv) and the chan at the end is him NOW-tired but accepting and telling himself to chill the fuck out and enjoy it all. Near the end, the video rewound to the beginning (2:12 of official mv), where “good but tired chan” (in white) stopped himself (the obsession fueled vampire) before he became a power hungry monster…… And he leaves him behind at the end-still alive and twitching on the floor-knowing that this darker part of himself will always be there, it will never go away. But he (good chan) will always be in control, and stronger than the insatiable desire and greed he has within himself. The prison where the mv is held is also his “mind”. Literally trapped in his own brain-palace-prison, where the cycle and constant battle within himself repeats over and over and over again… My song theory is: What if the lyrics are about an always approaching burn out? and his constant warring with himself over his perfectionism vs expectations? ie: “This train never sleeps.” “Don’t you care about the casualties.” “It’s safe when it’s just you and me.” “It’s only us but somethings saying “more please” 🤔 it’s an inner struggle. Honestly most of my life has been shit. Dad died at age 4, great grandpa at age 8, uncle at age 11, aunt and other uncle age at 15, grandpa at age 16, great grandma at age 18, grandma at age 19. Now I’m 25. My niece has been diagnosed with absence seizures, which most likely is gonna turn into epilepsy and she’s only 7. My nephew was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 10. We found out by him becoming borderline comatose and his organs were failing. 4 out of 8 family deaths were from cancer, 2 from heart problems, 1 from muscular dystrophy, 1 from old age/dementia. I’ve been diagnosed with OCD, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, anxiety, ADD, and recently I’ve been diagnosed with high functioning autism. I know I’m rambling, but other stuff happened to me too when I was a kid that I shouldn’t speak about. K-pop is my escape, anime is my escape, Asian dramas are my escape. And reaction videos are my escape. Thank you for being an awesome person, and I hope you have a better year next year.
