In the studio version, Dead Poet Society handled all the instrumentals, while Dany, Pau, and Ale from The Warning contributed backing vocals. The vocal arrangement goes like this: the first verse and chorus are sung by Dead Poet Society's lead singer Jack Underkofler, then Dany takes the second verse with either Pau or Ale joining in harmonies during the second half of the verse. I'm not sure if it's Dany or Pau on the 2nd chorus. Jack starts off the bridge, and then it switches to Pau. It sounds like the final chorus has everyone coming in at once
Both bands were on the Shiprocked cruise earlier in the year, and there’s some video of Pau singing along and rocking out to DPS playing this on her birthday. 😎👍
2:15 I love the look of someone who is savoring Dany's buttery-smooth voice. LOL! She comes in and it's like... "Yeah", then Ale sliding in with the harmonies. Oof.
There are good fan videos from the Aftershock Festival 2024. Dead Poet Society live on stage with Pau as their amazing frontwoman. She owned the stage!
Dany, at her most angelic, during the first chorus, with Ale coming in with sublime harmonies and then Pau doing her aggressive, challenging vibe after the break. FABULOUS!
Loved the song itself - great off-beat timing. The Aftershock footage with Pau was great, although of course the sound was not 100% but better than most fan films. Been listening to DPS since then and rather enjoying their quirky stuff!
The official video has obviously understated (ahem) visuals, but there's a terrific fan-created lyrics video for this song that's worth checking out. It's in the channel Juan's Jukebox. ruclips.net/video/7H8Z3yO7T5w/видео.html
This collaboration was sparked by DPS having Pau come on stage at Aftershock with them to sing this. There are a few fan-cam versions out there. She steps on stage and owns it - of course. Here's my personal favorite version because you actually get to see Pau doing her thing. There's another one that says 'Better Version', but the video is too zoomed in and moves all over the place and you don't get a good shot of what's really going on. ruclips.net/video/FIicw2Drtxg/видео.html
Adding The Warning's vocals makes this better than the original! Pau and Dany both have the vocal chops to front any rock band. Pau does a great job singing and playing behind the kit, but put her out front and she's a dynamite vocalist, just like Dany! There's live video of Pau singing with Jack on stage at Aftershock. Both bands used Anton DeLost as their producer on their last albums. Strategically, this is a way to get the two bands' audiences interested in hearing the other...
Dany didn't come in until after you stopped, then Pau, then it gets confusing. Hahaha. Ale is theoretically there too, But I don't know where. I like it quite a bit. The rest of their album sounds an awful lot like a Royal Blood influence. It's pretty good. Thanks.
Dead Poet Society is awesome. Check out Runnong on Circles, Uto, I Hope You Hate Me , Hard To Be God from their Fission album next.... the whole album is great imo

This was already a great song, now even better with The Warning!

This song is a banger. The Warning and DPS have the same producer, Anton DeLost. He played this for TW in the studio while recording Keep Me Fed.
Grandes colaboraciones de The Warning ,en este tema Pau que enorme interpretación

would guess Ale is on mostly harmony and backing but tends to be lower so hard to hear whit lot of stuff going on
@jrgenervik9977 that's right. Without visuals this one is a little hard for me to pick out.
