My takeaways from this video: 1. "Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right". Basically, your perception of reality greatly affects your reality. Your mindset is the foundation of everything in your career. 2. Learn skills that are in demand (meaning there aren't much supply of it available) and that you are interested in. These 2 conditions should go with each other; if one isn't satisfied, then you probably won't be getting value from that skill. 3. Somewhat related to 2, build skills that are catered with your curiosity. 4. Take care of your body. All your hardwork will be for nothing if your body can't keep up. 5. Listen to the voice inside you that tells you to do what you really want. Even if people tell you it's delusional. However, only allow "healthy delusions". Of course, you would want your wants to still be achievable. Also, just pretty interesting how Andrew Hubermann is almost always mentioned in productivity videos. I think I should try watching some of his podcasts.
Just graduate with my EE degree. Not only am I excited for my career, I am so eager to dive back into textbooks and projects and get really good in my field. Mindset is 100% crucial to success in any field.
This one is personal for me. It is a topic of self confidence and self esteem. "I think, therefore I am" is a great quote. Thank you so much Ali. EDIT: Bro holy shit you are literally reading my mind.I truly thank you.
08:48 this statement is dangerously false. There are many skills that are in high demand that are not well compensated. My partner is a phramacy tech at a hospital that sees daily disruption due issuels resulting form their lack of staff. They still don't make enough to rent comfortably with a rommate in our city.
Sir thank you for your videos. Could you tell us how we should learn topics and get good marks when we are freshmen ( after 12th we don't even know what engineering students face,- I don't know!) I'm asking how to finish topics and get good marks. Like attending class+ and doing assignments +self studying class topics enough?
@@alithedazzlingI have noticed that in things I do. Do you have any tips to artificially create deadlines and that feeling, even if the deadline is actually further away?
I agree with nap, your talking about labor as a skill is not okay and reference of Elon also shows some igrance towards society and people in general. I know once you get paid over a certain amount it's hard to not be a conservative
Great video as always. I'm a junior in engineering and haven't been able to get an intern. How important is this if I want to reach the goals you mention in this video? Can I compensate by listening to my inner voice and focus on developing my own competence?
Hi ali im currently a senior in high school planning on doing mechanical engineering, my parents are worried i wont be able to make it, i have never been the best at math nor physics, but i love the subjects. What should i do?
How can we make good start in freelancing career? Some of my skills are content writing, basic graphic design, coding in python, innovation research (I'm civil engineering student) and currently learning AI and ML
I don't have any practical experience or practical knowledge or skill in electrical engineering currently I am final year below average tier 3 engineering college student I only studied theory and done practical as an formality, I do not have knowledge in physics and maths even equal to that of an intermediate student, I also don't get placement from my college. but I want to be an expert and work in the field of electrical engineering can you suggest me what should I do plz. 😟
as im entering my sophomore year for EE, should i be doing interships as much as possible and joining clubs? How much experience is good enough so im set after college in finding a job?
Hi i have been watching ur vids for quite a while now. I got good grades from high school and i gotta choose between Computer(software) and electrical, automation Engineering. I know little to nothing about coding. I just want a well paying job worth a status of an engineer with majority independent working. Thoughts🥹🥹
I graduated high school 2014, just started taking classes at the end of 2021. I really can't imagine not moving out and working first at 18. I feel like it's made school easier.
How did Nikola Tesla become such a great electrical and mechanical engineer? I read during his last year(s) at university, he was failing and decided to drop out before getting a degree, and yet is arguably the smartest mind that's been on earth.
Life is funny like that. Limiting beliefs and positive beliefs are two sides of the same coin. They can seem completely different and detached, but they really aren't. Your advice very accurately reflects my own experiences in overcoming anxiety and finding a new passion to transfer into university and study electrical engineering.

I like your analogy between the mind being the 'software' and the body being the 'hardware'. Both compliment one another.
A hypothetical analogy which might actually become real in the near future due to advancements in AI
I love you man my life has been elevated everybody is right in there own way and seeing people as individuals has helped me gain so much wisdom
This is actually my favorite RUclips video of this year. This just resonates so much with me.
Wow, that alone means it was worth posting, thanks for the comment man ;)

some more videos coming to complement this, stay tuned
you inspire me bro!! thank you for what you do!!
Pure value man!!
Thanks man ❤
Your are helping man
“Per se” is Latin for “through itself” or “in itself.” When you say “per se” in a situation where you couldn’t say “in itself” it makes no sense.
You're right man❤
Thanks for the advice Ali
you're very welcome :)

that means the skill is in demand, but the management has figured out the absolute minimum people needed to get the job done and save money.

Can you elaborate on adrenaline, and how to use "deadlines" to stimulate motivation?
nothing helps you focus more than a deadline you cannot miss. this is because the brain releases adrenaline when urgency is involved
@@alithedazzlingI have noticed that in things I do. Do you have any tips to artificially create deadlines and that feeling, even if the deadline is actually further away?
the deadline has to be real in some way. What exactly are you trying to achieve/produce? @@kyle5555

Hi ali, What job do you recommend to try before starting electrical engineering in college to find out if this career path is for me??
anything that can get you experience -- watch my video titled 40 minutes of pure value for EE students
Great video as always. I'm a junior in engineering and haven't been able to get an intern. How important is this if I want to reach the goals you mention in this video? Can I compensate by listening to my inner voice and focus on developing my own competence?
yep, find an opportunity where you can learn from someone or grow you skills in some way
Hi ali im currently a senior in high school planning on doing mechanical engineering, my parents are worried i wont be able to make it, i have never been the best at math nor physics, but i love the subjects. What should i do?
show them that you can do it
You'll make it
If u love both subjects then it’ll be easier for u to get better at them. Yes it will be hard, but u can do it man, prove ur parents wrong
How can we make good start in freelancing career?
Some of my skills are content writing, basic graphic design, coding in python, innovation research (I'm civil engineering student) and currently learning AI and ML
im not quite sure honestly -- you can probably watch some YT videos from freelancers on how they got started

try to get some practical experience, get started on some projects like using arduino kit or even programming -- do something and take it from there
@@alithedazzling I will Try, Thank You Sir 🙂

honestly man, as much as you can. Until you reach a point where you a crystal clear on what you like, then focus on that
Btw are you Muslim bro?

@@alithedazzling what do do u think about artificial intelligence taking over tech.
academia does not count as a career yet. need to work in a company to get that real exp. there many phds out there that have no exp.

are you from latvia?
Favorite zeppelin album?
physical graffiti hands down. yours?
I got laid off as an EE and it was the best thing ever happened to me. I earn 190k now with a much better work life balance.
Hello, what are you doing now?
Is it in the same field ?
