Sound and fury was my first ever exposure to the “hardcore” scene. I had originally only went for anxious but we stuck around. I caught this set having only heard the name drug church before and it changed my fucking life. Drug church is one of my new favorite bands and this was one of the best days of my life.
Same for me when I went to my first ever concert 6 years ago. The line up was trash boat, movements, drug church and Boston manor. But from the name drug church alone peaked my intrest and then the energy of the crowd was unreal. The only song that stuck with me was weed pin and I was set as a drug church fan
Adrian Belew did this trick the moment he got a JC-120 in the late 70s. He used it extensively with Talking Heads and King Crimson. The whole solo on Waiting Man is just him with the JC-120 feedback

I was leaving S&F early to a metal show and was deciding which set to leave afterwards. I chose Drug Church cause I haven't seen them live before. One of the best decisions I made that weekend. So Fun.
Drug Church is doing for me what Life of Agony did back when. When you combine Brit alt rock, sick pop hooks, and hardcore, I’m all fucking in! Thanks for doing what you cats do!!!
