    A tie-out stake (big corkscrew thing) and some rope to tie it firmly to the ground would make it very stable.

    I know this is not possible, but I wish you brought out a video every day 😂
    Have you thought about making videos on the blacksmiths who make the tools (i.e Nic Westermann, Adam Ashworth, etc)?
    Absolutely love your channel. Best one on youtube!

      @@LycaonsMemories nope. A tour with Jacklore but not a video with one of the greenwood toolmakers that I can see. If you know something I don’t, I’d be glad if you could point me in the right direction.

    This video is really helpful. I recently finished making an apple wood handle for my NW swan neck gouge but wondered about leverage as the handle was quite short. Then i recently watched Nic's sharpening video for the swan neck gouge and saw Alex's long handle. This just proves a longer handle is needed for the type of work I will do. Great to see this type of content and gives me an excuse to make another handle.
