I find no fault with the term blackout. The scripture says "how can two walk together except they agree?" Also the scripture warns us not to be unequally yolked. Quite often Jesus warned his disciples not to mingle with individuals of various sorts.

It is my understanding that no one modern church will get it 100% correct. In contrast I tend to shy away from those churches who say they teach from the bible while practices like uniforming, tithing, works based dogmas, etc. are emphasized. These are all man's ideology and not what scriptural.

We know from Colossians 1:18 and Ephesians 1:22-23 that the body and church are one and the same thing. Now to identify the body read I Corinthians 12:12-31. That is of course if by church you are referring to the ekklesia. If by church you are talking about the building; GOD doesn't have a specific one.

@tone210texas thanks for the invite brother but I would prefer to discuss the scripture from a non-denominational perspective. It is my understanding that no one modern church will get it 100% correct. In contrast I tend to shy away from those churches who say they teach from the bible while practices like uniforming, tithing, works based dogmas, etc. are emphasized. These are all man's ideology and not what scriptural.

@tone210texas I can't say WHAT is GOD's church but I can identify WHO GOD's church is. As identified in the scripture the church is the baptized believers in Christ. We know from Colossians 1:18 and Ephesians 1:22-23 that the body and church are one and the same thing. Now to identify the body read I Corinthians 12:12-31. That is of course if by church you are referring to the ekklesia. If by church you are talking about the building; GOD doesn't have a specific one.

The U.H.O.P. claims the Apostolic name, but does not teach the Apostolic Doctrine due to the fact the baptism is not the typical baptism that was practiced in the bible. Also, you do not need one person to talk to God, but you can come boldly to the throne of grace.
