Thanks! - except for the uncooperative tripod this was very useful. I like the suggestion of the dollar tree squeeze bottle. I think your gearing is limiting your top speed. Pre-08 zuma 50 2t had a much lower gearing than the 08-11. The later zumas were geared higher to compensate for lower throttle position and restricted exhausts.
On the flip side, my 04 zuma will haul my 220 carcass up impressive hills - imho a fair trade for 42 mph top speed. Ymmv Btw knobbies "cost" about 3mph top speed too.
So there is no oil in the engine itself, right? I'm not very familiar with 2T scooters yet and that sounds really strange. Besides the gear oil, you put oil to mix with the fuel and that's it?
Depending on the type of 2 stroke you may need to premix oil with the fuel. The Zuma used an auto lube that drips oil into the carb and therefore it mixes itself .There is a small cap beside the fuel cap under the seat ..that holds the auto injector oil . . 2 stroke scooters use oil in the fuel as engine lubrication. since they have no valves or timing components to lubricate . They only need lubrication to the crankshaft piston pin and piston rings , all that lubrication comes from the oil mixed with the fuel . The gearing in the transmission has it's own separate oil which is what was changed in the vid .
Do you have a viseo about how ro change the motor oil as well?

@@fupabox Thanks
Wish you would of showed you taking the kickstart part off
Hello oil 80w140??
10w30 is also spec'd and fine.
What oil beside the gas tank please is it for engine i buy it last 3 days and i have no ideas
You need 2 stroke oil. I mostly used the yamalube 2S two stroke oil.
New top speed is coming if I can get a belt that stays in one piece .
i have a 2001 do you think it’s the same amount of oil for mine too?
Should be . Check the small print on the transmission case . It will state how many cc of oil
Can you post link to the belt you get the actually works! I need one lol thank you!
Gates PL 30210
for stock CVT the OE belt is best, followed by Gates.
67 kmh wtf my zuma 50 2009 has only been getting up to 60 kmh in about 10 seconds
09 is restricted at the throttle cam and exhaust. If you have a dremel you can fix both and your top speed will be about 48 - 50 mph
