Slayton - Crusader Strike NA is the ret that I play with. He mostly has 99 parses on each boss, He isn't a full blown shockadin but the play style would be quite similar. We are doing our DMF speedrun on Friday and hopefully I can have a nice chat with him and put something together. I just need to pick his brain a bit and learn all the ins and outs / min maxxy stuff. I mainly have been tanking this phase and a decent amount has changed with the playstyle. If you are able to decipher logs you can learn a good bit by his gear choices/rotation/damage breakdown , etc. But that can be somewhat hard to decipher. Hopefully can have something put together by the weekend! Things I could confidently say with the Shockadin DPS build would be you would wanna go STR shockadin, Stack STR/CRIT and Use a fast 2hand weapon with Seal of Martyrdom to fish for AoW procs on Single target. You would most likely want to use a Crowd Pummeler for whenever the On-Use is active and swap it for a fast 2hander when not. I think people have been using The Jackhammer but that is an expensive BoE, They have also been using Nightblade another BoE An option for fast 2hander from the raid could be Supercharged Headchopper. In terms of AoE you would probably want a Slow weapon when using Divine storm Seals get a bit weird when deep holy and no martyrdom but you would probably just use Righteousness for AoE. Divine Storm + Consecration + Dragonbreath Chili would most likely be pumping and more than enough damage depending on your procs. Gonna mess around with the Shockadin DPS build throughout the week and try to get some numbers to show aswell. Hopefully that helps in the meanwhile!
You are mistaken, it is the best in slot threat weapon for your pull threat. Ideally you use Crowd Pummeler for the first 30 seconds and than swap it out for your Sword and Board.
