hey steve you got it done and your beer is still full
I knew I forgot something!
A UK born US resident watches a Canadian drinking a Mexican beer while fixing a Swedish brand lawn mower.
Talk about RUclips bringing the world together! ;)
lol
What's this universe coming to???
LMAO! Too funny Ricky....
Rick S great insight, globalism!
I would say the beer is more American than that mower is Swedish 🤔
Glad to have you back at it I hope you got a little chill in the back of your throat when that corona went down and I hope you acquire high levels of refreshment
Thanks again Steve. I don't have a Husqvarna mower but its good to know about ways to fix your equipment and save us some money. Stay warm buddy.
You're Welcome...and Thank You...
Happy to see Steve back in the saddle again. Ales forever my BC friend.
Rock on!
That pulley replacement is just stupid easy. Thanks! 👍
You're Welcome...
Hey Steve glad to see you haven't been getting any videos for seems like a long time began to think something was wrong
Great start to the new year....keep up the beers and the good work
Thanks, will do!
Good to see you back Steve👍
Thank You...
Cheers Brother Steve! My Dad has Mower just like that one Husqvarna all wheel drive. Gonna check his mower tomorrow. Thanks Steve for the Quick Tip.
Have fun!
Great tips as always Steve, that repair was really easy and fast, thanks for sharing!
Glad to help
Steve saves me money again. Thanks buddy
No problem 👍
learn something new every time i watch your videos Thanks!
My pleasure!
Awesome video, Steve! Careful with that Corona. If you get sick, just use a wedge of lime and a paper umbrella
Thanks! Will do!
Very good educational video Steve , thanks I've never worked on an all drive lawn mower . Great lesson .....
Glad to help
I have a mower just like that. Now I know how to check and change a pulley if need be. Thanks Steve!!
You're Welcome...
Glad you're back Steve!!
Hey, thanks!
Steve, glad to see you back! I'll buy some Corona and go work on my mower now.
Go for it!
that dark humor, gotta miss it 😂💯 everyone to sensitive now
He's back!
Your videos are quality not quantity. Thanks for what you do. Cheers
I appreciate that!
Saving me money as always. Thank you Steve.
Glad to help
Good to see you again.
Hey, thanks
Steve can I use this part number for the pulley for a craftsman or is it a different part as well for the belt
As always, Thanks for the class Steve .
My pleasure!
Glad you are back, Steve! You , Taryl , and Jay Leno are "must see" RUclips for me each week. : )
that taryl guy tries too hard to be a comedian.
Wow, thank you!
Great videos Steve! Cheers from Ontario
Thanks 👍
Thanks as always.
My pleasure!
Wow! That wasn't even a half a Corona. It's still filled up to the neck. Thanks for the video. Been missing the SSES Videos. I hope all is well with you.
More to come!
I have this same mower an the 4 wheel drive works just fine but when I start it it's sputtering and gray oil is leaking out of the carburetor. Any advice will be greatly appreciated, Thanks.
That is an easy fix and I will remember it if I get a mower like that one and have a similar problem. I thank you and believe so many others thank you also for all you do for our community.
Right on Sid! Thank You...
Was a easy fix , thanks teacher
You're welcome!
Hey Steve. Quick question, I got a Ariens ikonx52. 3 spindles. It's skipping blades of grass in the middle and toward the opposite side of the discharge shoot. Could it be a bad spindle or the blades need to be changed to a high lift set? It has 15 hrs on it. Any help is greatly appreciated
Welcome back Steve. Glad to see you only caught the Corona in the 12oz bottle.
Steve, glad to see you back and hope you enjoyed some quality down time. After seeing the underside of the Husqvarna I wouldn’t run to buy one. Easy to service, but vulnerable to dust and debris. I would think some routine cleaning might prolong the life of the pulleys. I am not sure what they cost, but if I owned one I would keep a ready supply of them 😜
You and me both!
Now you would think the manufacture would have put a cover over those pulleys. Oh ya but then the mower would last twice as long.
I was getting ready to say, you didn't even have time for a sip of that Corona. Enjoy! Thanks Steve
You're Welcome...
I avoid this problem by my push mower not being self propelled 😜 Went from a small yard to a riding mower yard, so I've still got a 20 inch little push mower. It's nice not fighting the self propelled system when turning, especially since I only do corners and edges with it now.
Great quick fix!!! Did you receive the suggestion I have you about considering 1-2 or 5 minutes or any time you can to do a brief review of the beer you're about to drink right before the content selected? Im looking forward to it!
Another, do you have or, would you like to consider a video on general maintenance check up of our mowing equipments, like the mower, whether pushing ones or riding ones or and weed eaters? Thank you for your videos and considerations of our ideas!
Glad your alive and back.
Thank You...
hello steve, the second pulley is also gone (bearing seal missing) i love husqvarna machines
Hey Steve, would it be possible to show us how to replace a bent push mower shaft? Thanks
Great service tip! I had that same mower, really liked it but eventually sold it as it wasn’t getting used much. You’d think AYP would put some kind of grass shield over those pulleys and the belt to keep ‘em a little cleaner, eh?
I have a Toro Recycler (AWD). The rear wheels never stop spinning, even with lever disengaged. I replaced belt and adjusted tension in wires--no success. Any suggestions?
another great video steve!
Glad you enjoyed it
Super easy, super duper thank you !
You are welcome 😊
Missed ya!
I’m glad you didn’t get the virus from the beer, just wait till May 6th in the US.😂😂😀😀
Great tip!
Duke oh yeh, it can last a while, too!
But sometimes, a shot in the morning, helps ease the pain!😀
A vid on that belt would be cool. Dirtboss out. "Beer this guy."
On it...
@@mgomez5606 LMAO
Great video Steve.
Thanks 👍
I have a question for you Steve it would be more than appreciated if you could answer it you had a video back in 2018 showing lawnmower cap not venting right can this happen to a grass trimmer or if anyone can help me with that question
Hope you have the opportunity to do some "ride-on" equipment vids. I have a new Ariens IKON 52" that is very good but I'm sure it will need adjustments and parts over time. Keep 'em coming.
Will do!
Yep, since I have been drinking Corona regularly, I have developed immunity.
I have a two wheel drive with a similar underside and had problems with belts and pulleys. The problem of course is that everything is exposed. I eventually built a shield and its been years since I have had to reinstall a belt or replace a pulley.
my brand new to me 2017 cub cadet snowblower would not start this year even with electric start and i thought about what you would do.so i pulled bottom bowl off carb it looked like tiny corn pieces in bowl gas had gone bad.cleaned bowl and checked main jet and cleaned new gas it fired up up in one pull!..thx
Corona kills Corona 😂. Great videos Steve. You've definitely helped me more than a time or two. Very informative and I love the way that you explain and video everything in detail. Keep up the great work.
Thank You...
I have the same lawnmower
Hey can you explain in a video what exactly happens when a lawn mower seizes in the compression stroke? I mean the Bad scenario when it'll stop but will chop your fingers off when you clear the branch from the cutter.
Hey Steve you for got to mention to go ahead and clean the grass and debri where the pully is and that if you want to help stop that from happening bolt some kind of metal plate where the pully area is to stop the grass from getting in there ( which is usually the culprit of causing that ) or clean the underside of the mower after each use.
Good video buddy, and non-virus beer to boot. Cheers!
Right on!
great video Steve,
Thanks 👍
Glad to see ya back. I really enjoy your videos. I've learned a lot.
Awesome, thank you!
Got 2 riding lawnmowers, regardless neither will crank over fast enough to start after they've been sitting a few days. Neither has a compression release. Do I need a more powerful battery or could it just be the starters getting weak?
Welcome back brother, missed your videos! Lou out!
I appreciate that!
@@StevesSmallEngineSaloon as we appreciate you!
OMG he lives, I had my worries!
Hi Steve, wish u could show the best way to drain the oil from a Husqvarna riding lawn mower. I haven't found a good way to do it and the oil runs all up under underneath the motor.. the drain plug is way too short..
Next time you drain the oil add an extension. Check Amazon for your application, should be an easy to install extension.
Are the two other pulleys adjacent to the idler puller identical?
All 3 are the same part number
How about a video on replacing the belt?
I know there is a spring on the back side that is a pain to install
Awesome channel thank you
Glad you enjoy it!
That design looks like a real money maker for constant service. Glad you explain it so well. One would think a cover would keep it clean in there.
It almost looks like a fire hazard. Dry grass, seized pulleys mixed with a belt under tension. Store that sucker in the shed not the attached garage.
Probably a good idea to clean out the debris😏
Love the Videos!
Glad to hear it!
If a Husquvarna rider transmission got filled up with debris would this be a home mechanic job or should it be replaced?
Debris chews up the insides, rebuild it if you can...
I have that same mower. How the heck to you get the pulley off the transmission? On mine the nut and pulley are integral. I see no way to get the shaft to stop spinning.
HI Steve... Sorry to hear you are grappling with Corona! Things are not well here either. We have run out of homebrew and were forced to buy store-bought beer. The next batch of homemade wont be ready for 10 days!!! oh well! CHEERS
LMAO! Right on Darryl....
Great video Steve!
I typically replace my "Nylon/Plastic" Pulleys with Steel. But then I have to spend the extra Moo-La on Kevlar Belts!
Take care & enjoy your CORONA,
🤓 -Thomas
Western Washington State
Thank You...
Piece of cake !!!
thanks
You're welcome!
There's nothing like that new pulley smell.
Looks like the seal is gone on the one on the right I think i would replace that one also
Hey Steve,. Please advise people that watch your videos that anytime you have to go under deck to please remove the start plug wire from the plug to avoid any accidental engine starting.
Any mower mechanic we know to do that.
Please advise safety in your videos.
Great vid.
Thank You...
Some people may not think of this but you should have made a point to show you removing the spark plug wire before putting your digits in the area of the blade. Good video though.
You should be a nightclub comedian on the cruise ship line stuck off the coast of California they would make you walk the plank.
I have a craftsman that’s the same way with the bell work to
I meant the belt work for the craftsman
I need help on if the part numbers will work the same
Hay I was watching you where very very very bad why because you did not put lemon in your beer!! lol 😂 😂😂😂😂🤣 but that was-quick and simple thanks .
Next time!
I guess the aliens wanted you to fix some of their atomic powered yard implements .Welcome back Brother....
Thank You...
Possibly a whole Corona job in the UK as no doubt we would have to remove a guard from underneath the mower due to a EU law making sure most moving parts are covered.
Lololololo You the man.👍👍👍👍👍
Thank You...
lol @ the Corona. I hope you don't get the virus! :P
Well, you've been gone long enough to have been Quarantined. HaHa!!!😁😆 👍👍
You got that right!
Corona rules man.
I have the AWD mower by husqavarn now if you can do a video on how to.do.mataince on.the front & rear transmision ,s on the AWD mower by husquvarna mower like i have oh by the way lowe,s no longer has husquvarna mower,s they are getting out of homeonwer mower part & now tractor supply is going to be selling toro mower,s have a day steve
Awesome
Thank You...
Change all three at once
Great idea!
@@StevesSmallEngineSaloon I'm hooked on this channel man.
Hey Brother,
Long time, no hear from. Glad all is well. I've been telling everyone "drink two Coronas daily as a precaution against the virus". All joking aside, not a funny topic right now. Take care and be safe. Common sense doesn't hurt either.
Right on Gary...
Hey Steve...don't drink corona..haven't you been watching the news...lol..why don't you add extra grease to bearing ? I do it all the ones i change..Cheers 🍻🍻🍻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Steve I think you have to drink a beer , to just think about
changing that pully . Then another beer to find the tool .
I think that this is a 3 beer job .
Good call Rocky...
Corona... I get it 😉
Too bad there not all that easy but then we'd not have any work repair!
BTW that's only a drink of corona.
He should have looked at the lower right pulley bearing closer ! seals out ball bearings showing needs replaced also.
