    Just bought one of these so I can clean up my tractor without having to call a mechanic to come pick it up, load it up, drive it to his shop, and do something that I can do on my own for a fraction of the cost. This video gives me the added confidence to do this on my own! Thank you

      Thanks for watching, although I don’t use often, it sure comes in handy when needed… great for cleaning under deck, plus I used to repair an engine seal.. good day sir.

      @@kd_enterprise3404 I put it together yesterday, lifted my tractor up and was able to clean the deck completely. Your instruction on how to safely use the release valve and when to stop lifting as it clicks into place was so very helpful. Reading the instructions vs viewing it on video is different as night and day to me. I can read manuals to assemble items, but you also provided safety tips that were invaluable. Just had to thank you again.

    After every mowing I just slide a spray nozzle between the concrete and deck washing under the deck for a few minutes. Always super clean! That lift is nice for blade changes!

    I just put one together and I didn't realize that those pins had to come out on wheel baskets.

    Great video...Thank you! On my wheel brackets, mine has the spring loaded bearings instead of the bolts. So I just depress the ball bearing to the designated hole to fit the width of the mower wheels. This was a nice detailed assembly video that definitely helped. Shalom.

    Nice video. For sure thinking about buying one. Looks much easier than trying to pull deck out from tractor. Other one i have seen have wheel straps to hold everything in place.

      Thanks… honestly I don’t use it too often but it is excellent to lift the front and clean under deck… recently I used it to get under and remove engine bolts, plus taking off blades…. It came in handy and I was able to do things that otherwise would be difficult…. If you subscribe I should have a new vid out soon about replacing the drive seal and oil pan gasket on tractor..

    Does the jack fold up? Or does it take up a lot of space wherever it’s stored?

    • @kd_enterprise3404
      @kd_enterprise3404  2 года назад

      It kind of folds up and you can lean against a wall.. but still a little bulky...

    Thx 4 the video. One year with it now, would you buy it again ? If so where did you get it ?

    • @kd_enterprise3404
      @kd_enterprise3404  3 года назад

      I purchased in Canada at a store called TSC, now changed to peavy mart… buy again? Tough question, I don’t use often, but if you want to get under the deck and clean it’s pretty handy.. but I only do that once a year.. if you have the extra money for convenience then yes, buy it… recently it really came in handy when I removed my engine to repair the main shaft seal. Was helpful… now all these things can be done without the lift.. it’s just harder to do.. It’s all about $$.. if you want to get , go for it or go in on one with a neighbour…. If you are in the USA check out your major hardware stores… possibly Arbor Freight… if I have the name correct?

    Do you think you would have to remove the wheel basket pins for a zero turn cause my wheels are smaller than on a regular?

    the bottle jack is welded, so the bottle cannot be rebuilt if it leaks or seizes up

  • @MrMalintent

    When I go to jack it up it pushes the jack backwards and out from under the mower tires. Any suggestions?

    • @kd_enterprise3404
      @kd_enterprise3404  2 года назад

      Some movement is natural, try putting the brake on the lawn tractor, won’t solve everything but will be predictable.. it’s gonna happen… totally understand your comment…. So for others, be aware… the darn thing will get ya if you lower to quickly also because it will push forward.

    • @MrMalintent
      @MrMalintent 2 года назад +1

      @@kd_enterprise3404 Thanks for your response. I was able to make it work by actually driving the mower onto the jacks vice pushing it. Made sure to double check the brake from your tip as well.

    • @amandadavis9726
      @amandadavis9726 2 года назад

      @@MrMalintent I would leave the brake off. It would allow the front tires to sit in the cradles without trying to roll out. I have a mower jack. I actually forgot to not set my parking brakes, and my tires were sitting on top of the cradle, instead of down in it.

    Do you need wheel chucks at the rear? Do you need the brake off when lifting?

    • @kd_enterprise3404
      @kd_enterprise3404  3 года назад +3

      Good question, I did not need wheel chucks if on a level smooth surface. The lift has wheels, so if the wheels were chucked or brake was on the lift will slide when lifting. Even with brakes off it still slides toward back… the most important thing regardless if chucked or not is letting the tractor down…. Because the lift will slide forward regardless and if you let down too fast you could hurt yourself, feet legs… so,stay to the side and not in front when releasing the jack valve..
