In our initial assessment of the Nanrobot LS7+ (60V), disappointment was the prevailing sentiment. Marketed as 'the fastest non-racing scooter,' the scooter fell notably short of its lofty claims. With a 60V system, it failed to approach the advertised 72mph top speed, barely reaching 50 mph.
Its suspension left much to be desired, plagued by constant bottoming-out and an unsettling clunking noise, courtesy of its coil suspension. The display and voltage key system were lackluster, failing to deliver the crisp visuals we anticipated for a flagship scooter.
However, the narrative takes a positive turn with the introduction of the upgraded 72V LS7+. This revamped version has managed to address most of the prior concerns. By transitioning to a 72V system, integrating more potent motors with increased wattage, offering adjustable suspension, and introducing a new NFC display, Nanrobot has made significant strides in improving the LS7+. While there is still one area of concern in this relaunch, we'll delve into the specifics later in this review.
In this video, we unbox, set up, walkthrough, go for a ride, do a speed run, and tell you what we love and hate about the updated Nanrobot LS7+.

The fact that you guys highlight the most dangerous and concerning things like the horn, turn signals, and especially those screws coming lose. You can tell that you care about safety and thats such a wholesome thing. Thank you
Our pleasure. The only way the PEV industry will continue to thrive is if safety is a priority.
Yeah for the price it's unbeatable, it looks good, has good battery cells, has an awesome lighting package, great brakes, big power, adjustable suspension and Nanrobot is a tried and true company.
My Solar P1 Pro USA version can go like 50+ MPH and seriously I literally never feel like going that fast. A standing scooter form-factor just is not a good form-factor for going faster than that. Like 40 MPH, sure though.
🐱
Quit being scary
@@Hoopergames Dude, I ride motorcycles so know what I"m talking about. A scooter platform is not good at these fast speeds. You need the right vehicle.
Meh , I made a foot scooter that is Vasily different than all other foot scooters . I wonder if the large part of the problems are the gyroscope effect ?
My P1 pro is from the uk and is getting 40mph 😢
Happy that you guys are not gimmicky. Very appreciative that you give no b.s. reviews.
Seems like a very good value, but yeah, the top speed premise needs to be reined in by the manufacturer 🤨.
Much appreciated!
What was the actual top speed
My wife and i love the vidoes you guys put out!! We ride our e bike and road runner scooters to cherry creek all the time. Im always hoping i run into you guys. Anyways thanks for always putting out great content.
Please stop us if you ever see us in CC!
@@freshlychargedthe knobby tires will limit that speed also
@@Ebackfive they only offer it in offroad tires. But you are correct that some nice PMTs would change the acceleration and top speed.
i recently ordered a blade x pro based off your review. this channel is cool
Thanks guys! I have been waiting for a unbiased test on this scooter. Not the newest and greatest scooter out there, but at $2350 probably hands down the best deal for a 72v 60+ mph scooter. You have to jump another $800 for similar performance Wolf King GT, and $1600 to go faster than this one with the GTR and Inmotion RS. Acceleration to 50 mph is right there with them both. Probably be ordering one very shortly.

What does 72v really mean? I'm new to scooters this year, have a couple of Apollos. What I understand is, the capacity of the motors, the controller, and ultimately the size/output of the battery all come together to determine the capability of the scooter.
I see the Nami Klima has 1000w each wheel, but it's faster than my '23 Apollo Phantom, which has 1200w each wheel.
The Segway GT2 has an incredible 3000w per wheel, yet a top speed the same as my Phantom.
I understand the battery longevity (not range, just reliability & resistance to future decline after repeat charging) is relevant to the brand & cell quality - the controller can suck more from the battery & overload the motors accordingly, making the scooter faster with smaller motors but hard on the battery's lifetime.
What is the relevance of a 52V system in my Phantom, to a 60v, 72v, etc? Is that the amount of power the controller has to play with? Does it not wear the motors or battery out faster, in exchange for performance? Is it better for reliability, does it affect economical riding? I know so little about electricity....
@@NunchucksHabitlike the V8 of scooter, the bigger of the motors the bigger of batteries, you can’t have 3000w run on 52v , it will drain the batter quickly
@@themechanic4222you're so wrong it hurts lol
Good luck🤣, I have had nothing but issues where I had to fix them because there are no service centers, it took them 1 month just to get the scooter to me and 3 months just to send me 1 chip to fix some light issue it had which didn't fix it and have since emailed them 3 more times with no response, they cross threaded the power cable retaining clip holder screws that hold the cable to the arms of the forks of the wheel, the trigger broke causing the scooter to lung forward while I was holding on to one handle and I had to take it apart to fix it only to find out that they put the spring in backwards causing the failure.
You have to keep in mind a lot of factors for Speed of course. Those are just off-road tires. 60 MPH and stable, for off-road tires is pretty damn good. I think with good Street tires, PMT 150 lb person in the right terrain could push 70 maybe more. I have a D4 plus 2.0 and the battery finally went out on Me 2 days ago LOL but I've had it for about 3 years and close to 30,000 Mi no joke, and everything's original except the handlebars. Been in accidents. That thing is a tank. So I'm riding my D6 plus 2.0. They're good scooters that have the same abilities as other brand names except a few hundred dollars cheaper. Mine have been good to me. Usually their scooters do more than they say they will unlike a lot of companies. Always enjoy your videos and reviews though.
Guys Thanks for review, I check your web site I can’t find rage test
MAN I LOVE ELECTRIC SCOOTERS
Hah ha ! I prefer hybrid_ gas foot scooter I made .it has no range rage. It's about 50 times stronger on the frame . I also made a electric 40kw that is 56kw capable monster foot scooter !
The Upgrades look nice.
Fun Fact: Cars are not looking at scooter's turn signals to see if they are turning...To a car it is just lights on a scooter/bike.
Also the turn signals are 6 inches off the ground...cars too busy looking at the road for potholes, speed bumps, other cars, trucks etc. They not looking on the ground to see scooter lights.
Turn signals on a scooter is way of time
I disagree. Some scooters have decent signals (like the Inmotion RS, bright and the fronts are on the handlebars), and I'd much rather have them than not!
Bet you guys can't wait to try the new emove roadster 🎉 80mph full carbon race scooter sounds insanely fun 😊
It just arrived. Review coming soon to the channel!
Thank! Beautiful, fashionable car. You mentioned the most dangerous and worrying things like horns, turn signals and especially loose screws. If you continue to drive while standing still, what will happen when your legs get tired? Running at 50km/h is a bit dangerous
Bad ass sctoor bro i want one !!!!!!!!
Companies needs to stop doing false claims on their website.... This is waterproof!! This goes 100mph!!!! This does 2000 miles per charge!!!! Like come on.. . Good review as always.
I have to say usually this company does the opposite. Most of their scooters say 34 plus but will go 40 or 43 mph like my D4 plus and my D6 plus. Plus you have to realize and think about the fact that they are straight off-road tires and stuff like that. The weight of the person. I think if you had good Street tires, PMT like I have on my d6. Someone my way right tire pressure and terrain. I think it could be possible. Or at least close to 70
It's possible to hit 70 mph but you'll have to be small and travel in a tunnel so there's no wind resistance. Another youtuber was able to accomplish it. The one thing I really don't like about this scooter is that the stem doesn't lock when you fold it like the N6. I would buy it if it did. Instead I got their new N6 instead which should go 50-55 mph.
God told me that youtuber you're talking about hit 62.6 true mph not 70. He says he used the speedometer that came with the scooter. Even most of GPS apps don't show true speed at higher speeds (they use algorithm to calculate speed depending on how fast you go).
The other review doesn’t use GPS data to track the real speed. I could turn down the tire size on the P settings to show 74 mph at 60 mph.
The other test, downhill, into a tunnel, no GPS, and he looks like a solid 50 lbs. lighter that this tester. I also have to figure there is some settings that can be unlocked that may make a difference. Still, 60 m.p.h. is pretty damn fast, and at the current price, a great deal. This one can accelerate to 50 mph with the best of them.
@@pathaver9320 we adjusted all the P settings that Nanrobot recommended us to do.
Hello, how does the clamping / unclamping work? Thanks
You need to unlock in P settings to get max speed of over 70mph. Mine came locked to 55mph, after unlocked 73mph!
I changed the P settings that Nanrobot sent me to reach the maximum speed and acceleration.
Which P settings did you change and use?
@Andrew-vt4jt IN P8 punch 130 or 140 and it will go 70mph or pass 70 depending of the wind resistance. It will drain the battery faster but it will run crazy faster. Play with the numbers and you will see. Also you are only showing 3 second of the speed test. It looks like you are afraid to go faster. I posted full close to one minute acceleration and peak power delivery. Another lighter rider got 74mph. I think on speed your review is inaccurate and inconsistent 😐
@elliotbaltazar IN P8 you need to go from 90 to 130. Than it will be way faster. The controllers are set 50A discharge each.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace Thank you!!!
@Freshly Charged What screws came loose while you were riding this scooter? I'm going to threadlock obvious metal to metal, but it would be nice to know what you saw.
The screws that held in the stem to the steering pole right in the middle of the handlebars.,
I just want a scooter modeled after a Delorean that goes 88mph, sparks in the tires and a flame trail when you hit max speed would be a must 🤔
😮She is a total MONSTER 👹 🤠🤟
Hi how do you turn all speed limiters off? And how do you know if they are on? Thanks.
Great video! I've got an Apollo Phantom (2023) & I'm looking to upgrade to a scooter that'll cope with 100km/h [~60mph]. I've got a couple of scooters on my "serious" list:
Nami Burn-E2 Max
Apollo Pro
Wolf King GTR
My biggest fear is, spending ~$6k CDN then finding the company is just a fly-by-night foreign startup that churns out proprietary stuff that I can't fix or maintain. I'm handy, I can change tires & install hydraulic brake systems, plus I'm good at maintaining a healthy scooter (fill tires regularly, tighten bolts, lubricate suspension/hub, etc) - but I don't have a shop. I want post-purchase support. If I need a tire or a part, I want it FedEx'd to me in a couple of days.
I've been window-shopping for something like this scooter, but top speed isn't my priority as much as preventing future obsolescence & reliability. I don't want flashy, I like a Nami look - subdued, basic. I'm not interested in speeds > 60mph, but I want that option just in case. The Apollo Pro is just not capable of that kind of speed but it's got incredible water resistance. The Wolf King is as ugly as a scooter can get. The Nami seems to have everything - but I want to give these new scooters a chance & don't want to make a hasty decision now that the Canadian scooter season is almost over. So far, the Nami products are the most-recommended by people who commute & put a lot of miles on them.
The Nanrobot is geared toward teenagers, it seems. It's not as ugly as the Wolf King, but it's trying to be with a couple of tacky touches. Maybe I'm just old, but something that goes that fast, does it have to look like some 10yr old's bicycle?
Finally getting around to my question:
Would anyone consider this scooter over a Nami Burn-E2 Max, and why? (other than top speed).
I have the old version of nami burn e 32ah and in super happy with it. The design ,the suspension its amazing , the torque its fantastic. The only thing that i would change on that scooter its the throttle. But after you get use to it its fine. Other then that this scooter its fantastic.
Consider the yume osprey
Scooters getting faster n faster
Thanks for the fair review! 😅 NANROBOT, if you're reading this, I wish your business success and prosperity - but the scooter scene right now is extremely competitive. You need to step it up a bit more to stand out and compete! Peace!
Edit* (I like the N6 model by the way!)
The left top wrote “US Standard”. Would there be a charger inside so the factory place different type of socket inside according to the destination?
Thanks for helping clarify what it said!
Great review.. ive been waiting to pull the trigger... I trust you guys above any other channel.
Could you guys look into a fairly new ebike called the Ristretto 512? The only thing out on it is their own fake review videos made trying to pass off paid spokesman as unbiased opinions. There seems to be a fair amount of people saying the same thing as myself... people waiting to pull the trigger but can't find a man any channels like your own review it.
We have reached out to Ristretto and hoping to review it on the channel soon.
Love your acceleration data and tests - do you think you'll be able to test the new EMOVE Roadster sometime soon!? i'm figuring out what new high-end scooter I want to buy for this upcoming spring and am dying to see the acceleration data on that vs. the extreme bull k6 and wolf king gtr etc!!!
Glad you enjoy it! We are currently doing testing on it right now.
@@freshlycharged amazing- you guys rock!
To me EUC seems like a more rational choice, but some folks might disagree.
These two guys are the gods of scooter reviews, they always tell it like it is not trying to impress any scooter company..this 68 year old Brooklyn scooter rider needs the truth because im always giving away old scooters and bying new ones .
In your opinion for the price at $3000 what would be the best bang for your buck at that price range for reliability, speed and warranty of course 72 V
I was debating on this one you reviewed and the GTR and the RS out of the three and spending that kind of money what would be the best one in your opinion
Thank you guys and keep up the great reviews🤙🏽
Just throwing it out there but they have the RX7 coming out soon
Can you guys do a review on Roadrunner RS5?
Hey guys, based off the LS7+, I heard in the P settings you can unlock the quick laucnh and i think their is also a p setting that you have to set to 100% in order to max out speed, there was a guy who also did a review and he hit 74? Myabe worth a look would love to see if you guys find anything? Great review loved it, thanks! This is tourture waiting on mine it says lable created but not shipped yet! Gggrrrrrr..... lol
They told me the P Settings to adjust to hit max speed. I did do that but still no 74 mph. The speedometer is very off as well. We tracked ours with GPS data.
@@Andrew-vt4jt Oh okay, well that's a bummer, thanks guys for the awesome review I hope to test mine and see what I get up too! (=
@@lostmic please keep us posted on what you find.
@@freshlycharged Hey my friend sorry for the late reply, to be hoenst I am to afraid to hit those speeds, I need time, but I am getting there. I installed the dampener wrong and got my first speed wobble 3 days into it, yeah it hummbled me real quick, yeah good times! Lol
But after that the closest I got up to was 50 MPH that was in second gear and I am still working my way up to higher speeds.
At the moment though due to some faults electronically, I am sending mine back for a replacement.
Why no one puts good turn signals on the scooters
hey love the videos
Thanks for the love!
Please help, what do you guys recommend for fun on the weekends, hitting the gym and beach. Just all around enjoyment and liability. The mantis king gt, the nami klima or the wolf x? Please help 🙏
I would take the Mantis King GT slightly over the Nami Klima. You can save $50 with coupon code: gotscooter
@@freshlychargeddoesn't the klima feel alot more torque and acceleration over the kaabo mantis king gt ?
Nice
Will you guys be doing a test on the new Nanrobot N6 72v anytime soon?
That's what I'm wondering too...😅
They already shipped one, but I still wanna see a review!!
Ive had my nanrobot pump for a year now and throw it around the house use it for everything that needs air
I'm glad it's being used!
Love the videos stay safe thx for the reply
Would love to have this as my own but i would most definitely have to sell my e bike for that
i did not found the air pump link..
It should have popped up in the video around 1:50. Regardless, I put a link in the description. Thanks for checking! amzn.to/3QIrudX
I actually hit 73 on mine but i only weigh 110😂 cant believe i can tell my friends that I (13 yr old boy) have gone over 70 mph on a scooter 😅
Be careful man. It’s all fun and games until you hit that asphalt
God told me that yes it does have LG batteries inside, but it is 18650, LG MJ1, and it is genuine.
Hi guys!🙋
It has all electronic parts (Controllers, battery, motors) of first gen Nami viper...😘
How do you know this 👀
@@jittcrazy1882 i see it open, to an other reviewer
If i did not love my wolf King GT, i would sell it and buy that sucker, but i realy like my duel.stym.
The guy in europe got 141.6kmh which would be 88mph on a no load run on his youtube short. Something feels like a miss with this.
Not sure why you would want to go 70mph on a board? The only thing i can think of is if you need it for the big monster jump at a nitro circus show.
hey Mr jimmy
Needs a big seat on them
That you can ride Scooter on public roads with 75 mil is amazing. Here in Germany max speed is 16 mil 😂😂😂
Freedom! 🤣
Waiting for the 100+ MPH scooter lmao
Are your comments also positive for the 60V model? Or is it this model that you were not satisfied with?
He just outta curiosity i ordered a second Inokim Quick 4 because my back bolt wouldn't come unscrew with a allen key if i put locktite in the screw / space do you think it will turn it's stripped bolt on the back where im supposed to take off hub motor
43 miles of range? Thought the specification said 81 miles of range lol 🤔
Also it didn't reach that top speed of 74 mph probably because you didn't max out the top speed on the P setting.
The wheels are not big enough to handle potholes at 74.5MPH. Dying on that scooter is destiny at those speeds.
lol at the john cena cameo
Our editor is amazing!
If it didn’t come from Voro motors, the specs are lied about. Voro is the only company that is truthful of their top speeds/ you usually get more
So that means they lie about how fast it really goes. One claims a scooter goes a certain speed and it does not, while another claims it goes a certain speed and it does more both are lying. One is just downplaying it so you think you getting a benefit when it over achieves what they claimed...Marketing 101
@@truthiscensored well, voro motors is stating the minimum speed for a 200 pound driver. I only weigh 150. For example I own a wolf king gt and a roadrunner v2. They claim 62 for the GT, I can get it up to 67. They claim 34 for the v2, I can get it up to 36.
One time I bought a fiabor off Amazon they claimed a top speed of 45. I could only get it up to 38. Plus the speedometer was 3 mph off so really it only went 35 mph.
Test rider weight was@165 or less to hit top speed
We agree that weight impacts top speed but on other scooters we are still able to hit close to stated top speeds. Normally, it is 5 mph not 14 mph off.
@@freshlycharged but price?!?!?!?!
The headlights still the same , should replace at least a good looking ones😅
We agree that the headlight is lackluster.

YOOOO, I just hooked up my Dualtron Storm battery to my NANROBOT and I GO IT UP TO 60 MPH. Check out my latest video's on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please be careful on these high end scooters, I was on my wolf warrior x going 40 mph when this lady in a black Porsche didn’t stop on the stop signs and hit me, the driver ended up fleeing but luckily there was people near who took pictures, I’m lucky to be alive as I wasnt wearing any protection, all I was wearing was a shirt and some shorts, luckily I wasn’t wearing my crocs and I had my Nike’s on so not do much damage on my feet but everything up hurts like a MF
Be glad you didn't get any permanent injuries. I crashed a Kaabo Mantis 10 Pro back in 2021 going about 40mph with the cruise control on and crashed. Had no helmet on. Ended up needing 14 stitches above my left eye and I'm permanently blind in that eye. 40mph is too fast for your skull to hit pavement. Not to mention the road rash on my side and knees.
@@shinyman1231 wow I only got 2 stitches above my left eyebrow maybe lost some nerve damage but nothing life altering and the road rash on my leg of course
Get a floatwheel
It just arrived. Review coming soon!
wait a minute??!?
What are we waiting for? 🤣
The only thing they did was use an old LS7+ chassis, put a updated display on it, better shocks, a 72v battery and 72v controller into it. NanRobot is trash, along with their customer service department and not to mention it costs way too much for the horrible quality of that scooter. Thats wild how the cable is just coming out of the chassis, my previous LS7+ at least had black silicone from the factory, it just goes to show you how much their QC has really gone down hill.
Not sure why I bought this when it came out the first time.. horrible choice.. yes it's fast and that's about it.. why put off road tires on a scooter that goes this fast... Not stable at all even with a damper on it.. , they should have upgraded the headlight, that one is awful, it rattles at high speeds and not bright at all, and that display is still really bad, can't see it in the daytime
Twin 3000W motors but couldn't match the performance of scooters with twin 2000W motors?! Where did the extra 2000W go? Great video as always. 🛴🤘👍
Speed is electronically limited after 50mph. Look at the 0 to 50 speeds compared to the other scooters. LS7+ is neck and neck with all of them. $2350 makes it a deal. Most riders won't travel over 50 for extended rides.
I loved this channel a long time.. but it's lost its way. Really miss the ow and euc content. Take care guys.
Loooserr 😂
We just released a Onewheel GTS video and have a Veteran Lynx, Inmotion Adventure, and Floatwheel video coming soon.
4.5 seconds for 30mph???? My dualtron thunder practically starts at 30mph. If you press the throttle on the dualtron thunder you're going fast right away. Like there's no lag or pause or delay. That seems slow for a scooter like this. I honestly think dualtron is better. There is delay in their throttle at all.
This is definitely faster than the original Dualtron Thunder but not faster than the Dualtron Thunder 3.
I'll gladly take the pump and multi-tool from you if your going to throw them away
We wouldn't do that to our worst enemies. 🤣 Better to spend more money on a good tool because removing stripped bolts is a nightmare.
Respect The Beep................
Luckily the scooter has two wheels so we feel comfortable testing out the top speeds. Andrew learned his lesson to try and test top speeds on an EUC.
If you don’t need 1 of your scooters can I have one
Just found my new scooter, my varla eagle pro was stolen

Acceleration testing is no good on scooters due to great differences of riders body weight and the height of the center of gravity. Sitting down on a scooter is the key to business success.
@@noobz5056 you are right that all those things impact it but we always use the same rider and track to test the scooters. So the comparisons are accurate on our video.

We have not seen one with verfied GPS data. You can change the wheel diameter to make the display show whatever you want.
