- The storm, which in the last few hours has shaken many places on the Mediterranean coast , is weakening and moving towards France and Italy, but its final blow is still hitting the Balearic Islands hard. On the island of Menorca, AEMET has activated a red alert due to the possibility of heavy rains of up to 190 liters per square meter .
Mallorca, Ibiza and Formentera are on orange alert. The state of emergency asks to avoid unnecessary travel due to the strong currents of water that are formed when rivers and streams overflow due to the heavy rains that are affecting the entire island.

This is not Mallorca. It is the island of Menorca! This storm was anounced one week before but the people do not take care of it and must sail out with boats.
And the second city is the city of Soller
one of the places of Mallorca where it normally always rains. It is a city on the green side of the island at the mountains and the city was biult on the way of a torrente. So this happens there often.

The only truth is that there's been a episode of 100km wind and very heavy rain that has affected and flooded some areas in the Balearic Islands as well as stranded some maybe 20 boats in Formentera, but nothing like the catastrophy that these lyiers tell.

Si llueve mucho en poco tiempo puede producir inundaciones y consecuencias de daños en la via pública, pero nada más, no hay que preocuparse. Algunas imágenes son de Sóller pero ya te digo lo único que se ve es un torrente de agua y los vehículos intentando circular, no ha habido ninguna desgracia personal. Saludos

Das Unwetter in Spaniens Nordosten, dürfte bei uns in Südost Bayern schon fast Normal sein. Nur das bei denen der Boden viel Trockener ist als bei uns. Das ist vermutlich das Hauptproblem da unten. Catastrophe, en plus de l'eau de mer. Je n'ai pas de mots. Il y a du bon à vivre proche de mer mais avec le dérangement climatique, il n'est pas bon y habiter de nos jours. Beaucoup de ville sur les côtes, îles... seront probablement engloutis dans quelques années, bien plus proches que l'on ne le pense. Cela ira très vite. Si ce n'est pas sous les eaux, cela sera sous le feu, et les tremblement de terre et volcans se réveilleront. Oui la nature se révolte, mais pas que. On ne peut la contrôler, cela sera bien prétentieux de le penser mais l'être humain, l'est. Malheureusement, je pense que nous sommes voués à regarder de plus en plus et à subir, pas que regarder, de catastrophes dans le monde, à différentes intensités mais quand on ne verra plus rien ? .? ?
