    Thanks GrayFox! Yes, the 12v can be ran off a battery no problem. If it is a car battery for a motorhome/car application, make sure there is a voltage regulator hooked up between the battery and the strips because it is not a constant 12v and there are pretty high voltage spikes.

    this video is quite helpful, however can we have the actual color temps of the strips listed?
    It would help in making decisions. Very nice and bright, but need color temp ratings as "cool" "warm" are somewhat subjective.

    Awesome ! I would like to do for my planted fish tanks a high tech light system. That is like the bright white and like 4 rows of 4 feet long and has a dimmer like start till full brightness 2 hours ? if not then 4 separate rows and individually on a timer half hour settings. You see they make remote controlled lights like this but not what real hobbyist is looking for. That is the 6500K bright white and dimmable and to be on a timer. But has to be around 5500K-7200K full spectrum for the aquarium plants and for at least 30 in deep in the water. I think you got something cause what they have a couple of companies doing it but for the money and not for the real benefit. They can't be dimmed or on timer cause manually or with the remote you have to turn it on and off. For you to understand is that in the Tropic about 10 hours the sun is up and aquatic plants needs that much time but the very first hour and the last is no big deal but let's say the first 2 hours when it comes to a full sunlight and the same in the evening as the sun setts. All those light fixture goes from 199.99$ and up to like 599.99$ depends on the remote control features and the length of the fixture. If you can make something like what I told you in like a 4 feet long and 4 rows and the bright white like 55000k-7200K brightness (sunlight/full spectrum) and dimmable 2 hours in the morning and at night and can be on a timer, then you could make a lot of business and $$$$$. No need for remote cause it's automatic dimming and timer right so it's cheaper and simpler.. That is what I need and look for a while now. Sadly only money making companies making those and they don't understand nature and what we need it for.

    I've seen these lights in a side by side comparison to three other brands available on ebay and Amazon.
    I don't know these guys and I've got zero ties to them. That said, the Flexfire lights are stunningly bright. You can feel the quality difference between the cheap stuff and the Flexfire products. The cheap ones literally feel cheap, kind of like comparing high quality resume paper vs printer paper...it's that obvious.
    I'm planning for our lighting upgrade in my shop/paintbooth and have been researching till my eyes bulge. We need all the light we can get without the risk of explosion in the paintbooth. Definitely going to price out the Flexfire lighting.

    $120 for 16ft Warm White LED strip..... Thats overly excessive. I bought a very nice strip from Amazon for $11 and its bright and a good 2700K warm. $5 for RF remote and I have a 12V power supply. Thats less than $20 for the whole deal and it works better than the Phillips LEDs I have. Sorry but you're pricing yourself out of the market by going over $30. Home Depot sells same strips except with better waterproof shields for ~$50-$60 and thats a bit high already.

    How many lumen does this strip emit? We would love to know! Feel free to send us some spec sheets or test reports and we will evaluate them and get back to you. Though INDIVIDUAL LEDs like the 5630 can be a lot brighter, sometimes it is difficult to fit a lot on the reel, thus it CAN be lower brightness. We need to check the test reports.. :)

    I have a question that I'm sure will help a lot of people. Im looking to replace my standard lighting with LEDs. I want a LED light strip to be the main lighting in my office/room, I will probably mount the strips all around the ceiling and point them upwards, I imagine the light bouncing off the ceiling will illuminate my room if its bright enough. What is best for lighting up a room indirectly bearing in mind I want only these strips to light up the room (the room doesn't have a lot of natural light)? The warm white or the bright white? Is one better for living/working under for long periods than the other? What are the benefits/differences of the two lights on people?

    • @Flexfireleds
      @Flexfireleds  10 лет назад +4

      Really good question!
      The difference between warm white [at ~3000k color temperature] and bright white [at ~6000k color temperature], other than the obvious color difference, is that studies have shown that the higher color temperatures such as 6000 - 7000k may effect circadian rhythms. The bright white may cause people to become more alert and focused to task work while studies have shown melatonin can be suppressed in some individuals (causing sleepiness to go away). Source: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1046/j.1365-2869.2003.00381.x/pdf
      In an office setting with not a lot of natural light, I would recommend the bright white. This can mimic the sun's color temperature and make you feel alert and awake. However, during the evening time, when you are winding down, it is important to stay away from the very bright white lights so you can get to sleep faster. Remember, for centuries humans have been living under candle light (very low 2400k temperature) in the nighttime.
      I prefer the warm white in bedrooms and living rooms while bright white is good for offices. We also have a color "Natural White", which is 4200k (about right in the middle). This is perfect if you do not want lighting that is too warm or too cold.
      We would love to help you design the project! Please let us know if you have any questions. Call us anytime 925 273 9080

    • @brentonces
      @brentonces 10 лет назад

      Yes it is 12vDC. You can use a rechargable battery for these. The Colorbright single color LEDs use 3w/foot, the RGBs use 2.2W/ft for the 150 version and 4.4w/ft for the 300 version. The design series uses 4w/ft and the industrial is at 7w/ft. We can help you further with a simple call or email to us! 925 273 9080

    I am currently using APA102 RGB strip with 60 LEDs for my project. As I understand, they are essentially 5050 series with integrated controllers and SPI interface. But I find them to be not bright enough for my needs. Are there any brighter strips which I can use instead of APA102 RGB strip? 12V also should be fine if only it has SPI bus with 5V or 3V3 logic levels.

      freind,apa102 is digital /addressable led strip with ic built-in,thsi video is single color led strip without ic,for pa102 rgb,it have 30 60 96 144led/m,i think,96led/m is brightness. also,you can consider sk6812 rgbw,it have more white chip than rgb,so,will be more brighter. Now,in the market,it have one ws2815 addressable 12v led strip,if you need,we can sell that to you,5 meters as sample is ok. also,if need single color led strip,you can according to the led quantity,the resistor,the pcb width and length to decide the watta. any question,you can send message to me. s32@starwire-led.com

    This is all well and good but you should NOT really use any of these lights under Kitchen counters as you mentioned because they have no IP rating. As in a bathroom kitchen are susceptible to steam generation = water from cooking and kettles etc. So unless you are away from these water sources go for an IP rating of IP44 or above at least. Other than that good demo and informative. However a lot of comments about how expensive these are compared to chinese/ebay ones. I would advise all those criticising to go read up about colour and dimming drop out over time. The cost of the equipment is normally far less than the cost of having to replace items after 1000+ hrs due to a drop in light levels or banks of LED throwing up different colour casts etc

    The RGB series are renowned for failures especially if used outdoors (Christmas Lights etc). Water gets into the "waterproof" coating and can increase resistance of many and will stay one colour or will fail altogether between the cut points. Beware to buy the correct one for your application. They are available from wholesalers in China direct for as little as £10 GBP. However there is often import duty to pay plus shipping. Fedex is about £14 per parcel and import duty can be as much as the product so be careful when ordering!

    • @klaeLIFE
      @klaeLIFE 8 лет назад

      +RMLectronics East Yorks Import duty cant exceed the value of the shipped item - duty is not >100%. At most it will be about 20% of the value of the parcel

    The thing that some fail to understand is that the quality of a product is determined by where it was manufactured. All in all, it doesn't matter where a product is made; it is the *quality control* of the product during the manufacturing process that determines whether or not it is "good". The reason why so many products made in China have such a bad reputation is because many of the products do not have stringent quality guidelines during the manufacturing process. Many companies around the world have manufacturing facilities in China. Many of them do not have stringent guidelines pertaining to quality control. Many of them do. The question arises: What company today does NOT have a facility in a country where cheap labor is prevalent? I am sure there are some, but definitely not as much as many years ago. But many of the products you and I use today (including right now as you read this lengthy message) utilize cheap labor. Question is does it have solid quality? If you think so, then there is quality control during its manufacturing process, thus (somewhat) proving that there may be little correlation between a product's quality and where it was manufactured.

    • @NoWrongInBeef
      @NoWrongInBeef 9 лет назад

      Tbh, I prefer not to purchase products from China (just to stay on the safe side). In my opinion, however, if a particular brand is known for having products with solid quality, I would still get it, regardless where it was made.

      Hello Shortflame, Yes they can work on a 12v system. • @brentonces
      @brentonces 9 лет назад +1

      Hello John,
      Yes we recommend heat syncs for the LED strip lights, especially is you are using the industrial. We do not carry heat syncs on our website but we can have them drop-shipped to you from a company we distribute called Klus. They are very high quality aluminum extrusions. However for your project I doubt you would need anything like Klus You simply need a piece of aluminum (2-3mm thick is recommended). Any hardware store should sell this. We do not sell it because it would cost more to ship than the item would cost, as it is bulky.
      If you need any help with your setup, email us or call us at any time. Our design guys here rock! 1-844-FLEXFIRE OR Info@FlexfireLEDs.com

    HI. MY BASEMENT IS 15FT. X 25 FT. HOW MUCH LIGHT DO I NEED FOR THIS AREA.

    Been kicking around the idea of installing the 12V or 24V LED light strips underneath the bottom, flat edge of my garage's 16 ft (2x4) rafters and then tying the LED's into a battery and solar panel (vs buying a bunch of traditional twin bulb florescent fixtures). However, without seeing the actual LED light output in-person, I'm not sure if the LED's strips will produce enough light as traditional florescent fixture? Also, not exactly sure how many rafters I should cover or how long I might run the LED strips? Anyone with some experience care to comment? Should I just stick with the big bulky florescent fixtures?

    I'm making a 4ft x 10ft Sun Diffuser for photo/video. I'm looking to make a 2ft x 4ft LED panel using these. What's the brightest you [currently] have? Something like 144w, smd 5050, 5000k or 6000k, cri above 85, 15 meters total is what I'll need if it's 144w per 5m. Thank you!

      Hi Devon,
      Thanks for the questions.
      Basically the brightest strip light available is the Ultrabright Industrial series, they run at 7.5 watts per foot and produce 671 lumens per foot.
      A higher CRI will increase the efficacy and the intensity , so the higher the CRI , the lower the lumens.
      The industrial series being so bright , the CRI is lower , it stands around 76.
      Currently , I do not believe there is a brighter single line strip light on the market.

      +michael webb Hi Michael, thanks for watching our videos! Most of our strips can be cut every 1-2 inches, this is perfect because it allows for a lot of flexibility when it comes to different types of installations and projects. Soldering is great, but if you're not experienced with soldering, we offer solderless quick connectors which will allow you to bypass soldering. We'd love to talk with you about your project, feel free to give one of our project developers a call at 1-844-FLEXFIRE. Looking forward to hearing from you!

    Which ones to get for planted aquariums? I installed strips without any kind of knowledge as the store guys just had "Normal Strips", the plants are growing nicely. But what i want to know is temperature...my current lights are somewhere on 5000 K -65000 K. i want to make another fixture with something higher than that, somewhere around 8000K-10000K. Any suggestion? or any more things that i should consider that i've not already besides temperature like luminance & stuff?

      Our RGB 150 draws roughly 2.2 watts per foot. The RGB 300 series (Double brightness) draws roughly 4.4 watts per foot. You simply need to multiply the watt/ft figure by the feet you are going to be powering.

    • @Flexfireleds
      @Flexfireleds  7 лет назад +1

      Hi Terry! Thanks for visiting our RUclips Channel!
      In order to calculate the wattage or amperage needed, you'll need to look at your LED strip specifications and multiply the watts per foot and then add 10 to 20% for efficiency. For example, if a strip draws 5.1 watts per foot and you're using 10 feet of it, (5.1 * 10 + 20% = 61.2 watts) - For this set up you'd need a power supply that can handle 61.2 watts or above.

    I've been interested in getting probably around 10 meters of RGB LED Strips possibly RGB+W for a while now. Problem is there's only two options currently.
    #1. Dirt cheap Chinese ones, They work, but probably won't last longer than a year of consistent use.
    #2. Extremely high priced LED strips that cost a fortune to purchase.
    There's currently no third option for the average consumer looking to get a quality, non-shoddy version that doesn't have to be perfect, or excel, but just work and work pretty good for between 3-5 years(considering they're LED's that should be easy).
    I'm skeptical about the prices of these so called high end LED Strips. There's many factors that go into the price, but ultimately it comes down to the LED's used, and being one that purchases hundreds of dollars worth of electronic components online each year. I can tell you that More expensive =/= Better quality. I've come across parts, especially LED's that perform exceptionally compared to similar products priced 2-3, or even 10 times higher.
    You can throw around the fact that you have high end companies buying from you. It doesn't really prove anything except that you offer a quality product and richer people can buy it. It doesn't state anything about you charging fairly. I build clocks in my spare time. Out of wood, electronics, metal. To be honest most of these only take 5-8 hours of work, and maybe a 50-75$ in material. Thing is, I've actually sold them before. Anywhere from $500-$800. Guess what? I felt incredibly dirty doing that, It's dirty, naughty, you want to do it again, but also feel guilty afterwards. I imagine that's how you feel with your LED Strips.
    Like I said, I'm skeptical. I just don't see how your pricing, or other peoples pricing is warranted. The Chinese can obviously offer an inferior, yet decently working product for a fraction the price others are. So it's true that LED's can be had for pennies. So why is it that I don't see a middle-ground options with a decently higher quality? Until you can fill that gap, You're going to have people asking you questions like this all the time.
    This whole thing just reminds me of the Philips HUE light bulbs and their LED Strips. One 2 meter strip goes for about $90, nothing else included. All because they have a gimmicky ability to change hue and turn on/off thanks to a smartphone or computer. Is the product quality? It sure is. Philips makes great stuff, I've owned stuff from Philips that's lasted 5+ years. Is it fairly priced? Of course it's not, There's no market for it, and there's no market because of the price they're charging. Smarten up people.

      ***** You can purchase a nice seaworthy no-name boat for pretty cheap, or you can get a Mastercraft. I mean... the no name one floats, right? Mastercraft must be ripping you off, right? I am trying to be funny here to prove a point, but we are not in the business of scamming anybody.
      Comparing the ebay or amazon LED strips to Flexfire LED strips only based on price is unfair. What technical data are you comparing? I can show you LM-79 data. IES files, our UL test reports, lumen, CRI, LM-80. The links you provided do not show any of that, so there is no real way to compare them. We are in the business of selling the highest quality LED strip lights on the planet with incredible support. If the amazon strips work for your application then I am very happy for you! Calling us scammers is not very nice though...Our clients such as Hilton Hotel Chains, Disney, NASA, Ford, Delta, the Smithsonian Institute, Redbull, and many other global companies do not think so.. ;)
      Our lights are not only a LOT brighter than the cheap Chinese ones (and even some higher quality ones from other countries), but they have been designed for maximum heat dissipation and longevity. Read our reviews on Houzz.com from our customers. www.houzz.com/browseReviews/flexfireleds It will give you a good idea of who we are, what we stand for, and our product quality.
      We would be happy to answer any questions! I hope this message was not taken negatively :)

      Brent Mauriello
      Nice analogy, Except for the fact that Mastercraft has tons of legitimate competition, and as such are required to price their products fairly. Mastercraft isn't even a top brand btw. It's mid-range. This whole thing is the equivalent to buying a $500 gaming PC vs a $1000 PC vs a $2400 gaming PC. All are made from quality parts. All work for games, but all work at different levels. 500- mediocre performance, 2-3 years lifespan. 1000- really great all around performance good for most users, decent lifespan ~5 years, 2400 - Superb performance, long life 10 years +.
      Problem is, for 95% of the PC market, the purchases will fall on the first two tiers, with the third being offered only to those who don't know any better and have too much spending cash, or have need for exceptional quality(like NASA??). Problem is, Currently there's no middle tier.
      I understand that your product is quality. From what I've seen nearly everyone is happy buying them. They work, they work good. The problem is the price. No matter how hard you sugarcoat your quality product, they just don't seem worth the investment. Even if those cheap LED strips only lasted 20,000 hours of use, I could replace them 4, 5, 6, 7 times over and still be under the cost of purchasing your product. Of course, replacing them would be a bit of a hassle. Which is why there should be a middle ground option, but if it's going to save me and others money compared to your product it's probably the route that most people are going to take. Which means you're losing many customers with this pricing. Just saying. Unless you plan on designing these for commercial/industrial applications only, in which case that should be noted on your webpage. At least then the pricing is more justified.

    • @kensimon4478
      @kensimon4478 9 лет назад

      honkydook this analogy is wrong lol. no gaming pc will last 10 years. People who spend that much on a system are only doing so for bragging rights. There comes a point where in the mid section where putting more money in a computer build into making it an Enthusiast build is just putting money for looks and bragging right and nothing to do with gaming. Even high end parts come with failures. Not all "high quality" parts will last a life time. They have bugs too. I doubt the $125 LED lights come with a lifetime warranty lol.
      there's hardly any difference btw a $1,000 gaming pc and a $2,000 played by the same PRO gamer. There's actually no difference. It's all about the experience in the game that matters.. not the hardware.
      I doubt these LED's will outperform any 5630, 7020 or 8020. If someone's gonna spend that much they might as well jump to the next class. So these LED's must be priced based around the 5050 class.
      These guys are lying about having NASA as their clients lololol. but i enjoy the trolling making up clients. If they can get $125 off people you cannot knock them. Monster cables makes people pay top dollar for cables when the people don't have to. If people are convinced and happy to spend their money then there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

    WOW!!!!!!! crazy bright and very hot running. Don't run their strips without a metal heat sink attached to the back of the strips or you will burn them out prematurely and or start a fire. They are VERY bright but, they are highly populated with 4 times the led's as the cheap strips. You can also buy cheap strips with more led's per meter. Comparing approximately 2 inches of each strip theirs had about 12 led's and the cheapo's had 3. So, obviously they are going to be brighter simply because of the shear number of led's is 4 times more but, make no mistake even if the number of led's were equal, the Flexfire led's would make about twice the light. Are they worth the much higher cost at I believe $299.00 for a 5 meter strip or buy the cheapos from china. You make the call after watching the video. Oh yea the cheapo strips from china are down to about $7.00 per 5 meter strip.

      jsadamcik We can manufacture a 24V RGB strip no problem. How many do you need? Lumen is tricky because each color will have a different lumen output. You can order a 12V sample to see how bright it is and return it (no cutting or peeling the backing off) if you would like to see the brightness.

    • @jsadamcik
      @jsadamcik 10 лет назад

      at least 3 reels, but I need them to be brighter than the current color changing strips, I would need the same brightness as the 24
      v strips, it has to cut past an intense amount of fluorescent light and travel 10 feet up the color catching wall

    • @jsadamcik
      @jsadamcik 10 лет назад

      I work in theatre and also churches that would like to use the strips as a color changing piece as part of their staging. My current job is a 1910 era church that wants color without the use of bulky stage lights, and something that will fit in the cove surrounding the color catching wall

    • @IraTopp
      @IraTopp 10 лет назад

      jsadamcik The easiest workable solution would be to convert the 24v system to 12v for each strip using a "buck step down converter module". This would enable you to use virtually any 12v lighting solution, and save you money in the long run.
      Do an eBay search for LM2596. I've seen some nice ones that display the output voltage on a small LED screen for about $3.50 each.

    • @brentonces
      @brentonces 9 лет назад +5

      Only one of our series is $299, we have many different options, prices, and styles to fit any customer. The strip you are speaking of is pretty much the brightest strip in the market. We do not over-drive our LEDs to get more lumen out of them. We have videos that talk about the differences in our products vs the competition or amazon/Ebay. Check them out. We have spent a lot of time and money to engineer and design something truly unique. For that reason we have clients like NASA, Ford, Disney, Smithsonian Institute, and many many more.
      It is true that the ones on the other sites are dirt cheap! If quality is not an option and you are looking for something that will only last a short amount of time with poor quality PCB, resistors, soldering, LEDs, and lumen output, you should purchase from them. If you are looking for something that is preferred by architects and designers worldwide, choose Flexfire. If you are up to it. Get the Ebay stuff and I can send you some of our stuff out so you can review them both!

      YOUS SUCK The difficult thing about "selling light" through ecommerce is the fact that you really need to see these in person and touch/feel the quality of the strip to notice a difference. Have you ever tried on Bose headphones vs ear buds at the $0.99 store? It is a very big difference. Shoot me an email. I can send out a short sample for you to test and you can post your results here on this page.
      The strips are manufactured in china with components from Korea and Taiwan. Apple manufactures their product close by to us. There is a reason why NASA, Ford, Disney, Delta, Hilton, and top lighting designers and architects prefer to use our lights. I would love to prove it to ya! Brent@FlexfireLEDs.com

    Oh wow why are the prices so heavily loaded, I know companies need to make a profit but these people are just excessively greedy. All these in the video and those a fraction of the cost on ebay or amazon have one thing in common they are all made in China. No mention of the diameter of the LED in the video, if you want bright buy 5050's they will cost more than 3528's but nothing like what these people are charging. As for lasting longer I have been running a cut up strip for a year no problem and even if there was just think how many sets could I buy for one set of these. Man talk about capitalism on steroids!

    • @Flexfireleds
      @Flexfireleds  9 лет назад +17

      @VanBooter, we are very fair in our pricing for the product we sell and are much less expensive than the popular LED strips used for architecture and high profile displays. Calling us greedy is not very nice.
      Greed is the last thing on our agenda. We also donate 5% of everything we make to charitable causes on top of donating thousands of dollars worth of product for organizations and projects that need lighting help. We pay our staff well and we are pushing the entire industry to be more transparent in their technical data, being TRUTHFUL about how a product performs, and are here at every step of the way to EDUCATE, even if you are not purchasing from us.
      You can purchase an Alibaba / amazon no brand tablet for $100 or an iPad Air 2 for $700. They perform very differently and the price is different.
      We have thousands of clients who do not have the luxury of "ripping the old junky strips out and putting new ones in every year". Our strips are meant to last. Many of the projects we do are part of a larger labor intensive process. It would be VERY expensive for these clients to have to dismantle their products, airplanes, home ceilings, architectural displays, company signage, retail displays, (and much more), only to have to replace the lighting source every year. Electricians are costly and maintenance is not free. Our product is tested, made to last, and produces beautifully bright uniform lighting.
      Our reviews are all real. Check them out on Houzz.com or on our website. Heck, call in and chat with us! We would love to explain the difference. Thank you for giving us the opportunity for the back and forth.

      *****
      Yea yea, I suppose unplugging 2 wires and connecting another strip would be expensive judging by your profit margins. It would take me 5 minutes to replace if needed but after one year no need to replace any of my junky strip as you put it.
      But hey-ho good luck to you and those who fall for all your sales speal in connection with your CHINESE LED lights, my product is also tested and I have saved $$$s
      It's good you at least re-cycle some of the profits to charitable causes, but this I'm afraid is the common get out of jail defense play made by businesses for exorbitant profiteering. I personally would prefer any donation made to my charitable cause to come from my pocket directly, why on earth rob Peter to pay Paul LMAO
      Anyway thanks for getting back I am firm in my views so no need to read anything, I did read the prices on your web site initially and was gobsmacked to say the least, oh and one more year out of my junky strips (your words) and I will of equaled your guarantee period on your Outrageously Overpriced Strips so we are both winners dollar wise.

      +VanBooter You see that is the true power of wonderful Capitalism. If the product is too expensive,, people will not buy it. The market literally will fix itself. Yeah ebay is great if you don't mind waiting a couple weeks to get your stuff. Who are you going to complain to if it is messed up when you get it?

      If I can save money, I do not mind waiting a couple of weeks and if there is a problem with the product you contact the seller and you can contact ebay to get the product replaced or your money refunded.

      Hi there. Our brightest LED strip is the 12v Ultrabright Industrial Series.
      Check out our website: Flexfireleds.com

  • @SussyBacca

    Is there a reason your LED strips are about 10x more than generic ones sold on amazon/etc? I am new to this and trying to figure it out. I bought $12 strips with 300 LEDs on amazon and they seemed to be pretty bright. Does this run on a different system or?

    • @Flexfireleds
      @Flexfireleds  10 лет назад

      Hi Nick, good to hear you're stepping into the world of LEDs. There are a lot of related products out there, so it can get a bit confusing.
      The price differences all come down to quality; Flexfire LEDs strip lights are UL-listed and come with guarantees.
      In addition, brightness and dimmability plays a role as well. If you consider the fact that almost all of our strips use at least 600 LEDs per reel that are fully dimmable, the price difference starts to make a lot of sense.
      On top of that, we offer expert installation and product advice. In other words, with us you are buying the right product for your project that is much brighter and will last a lot longer than aforementioned generic strips.
      In terms of system use, our strips typically use a 12V DC power supply, although our Architectural Series uses 24V.
      If you're interested in investing in quality as well as aesthetics please send us an email at info@flexfireleds.com. We'll gladly sort you out.

    • @SussyBacca
      @SussyBacca 10 лет назад +2

      Oh the prices include installation and support? That's good. What warranty do they come with? Measuring with a lux meter, the amazon LEDs seem to be about as bright as possible with current tech for the amount of power they draw. I saw you have 10k lumen LEDs HOLY cow that is amazing!

    • @Flexfireleds
      @Flexfireleds  10 лет назад

      Let me rectify this, we offer installation support, we do not come to your house and install everything. Our LED Lighting Specialists are excellent at guiding you through the process though.
      All our products come with a two year warranty. Depending on the series and color temperature our strip lights sit at approx. 100 lumens per watt. Indeed the brightest one generates 11k lumen per reel. UltraBright Industrial Series Bright White is pretty much the brightest reel on the market. Companies like NASA are using it. You might want to go for a less powerful one if you're using it domestically ;)

    • @Flexfireleds
      @Flexfireleds  10 лет назад

      Nick Steele Hello Nick! Installation is done by you on site, but we offer phone support or email support through the entire process. For a further answer on the first question, we use premium LEDs, thick heat dissipating PCB board with more copper for better conductivity, and premium resistors.
      We will make a video shortly showing the differences between the Amazon strips and ours. We do not even come close to manufacturing them for what people sell them on ebay for. We get many customers who have first tried the Amazon strips then come to us because of many issues. If you want to get an amazon strip and compare with ours, I can send you out a free sample if you want to make a video?

      Hi @patrickcarnell3367! Thank you for watching our video.
      The product you are asking about is the UltraBright™ Industrial Series LED Strip Light, which had an output of 9,200 lumens per 16 ft reel (1,022 lm/ft).
      We have upgraded this strip and its new version provides 1,156 lm/ft as well as a higher CRI of up to 96. Check out the product here: www.flexfireleds.com/industrial-ultra-bright-led-strip-light-bright-white-reel/
