...and most gut wrenching for us Disney animation collectors, back in the day at the Art Corner the animation cels were considered expendable afterthoughts by the animators and sold for next to nothing! Ugh, time machine, where are you?

In finding my love for the Parks, I’ve definitely found a love for Disneyana… but more specifically the artists and creators behind it. When I drink my morning coffee from a Disney mug or smile at a framed poster I’m momentarily transported back to the memories of magic
The original Disneyana location where 21 Royal is was amazing. Loved the exhibits. So exciting to see original concept art. One time I was there and John Hench was just hanging out dressed to the nines! Was sad it was closed to create the Dream Suite.
One of my favorite parts of Brickey videos is the space with music that allows our imaginations breath. I can see the bank and also the Disneyana locations. So cool…unparalleled storytelling! ❤
I remember my dad cashing a check at the Disney bank to start our day. .... Going to the museum above pirates on our honeymoon.😊

Great video as always! You forgot to mention the original Disneyana shop was connected to the old Market House, before Starbucks took over. It had a double door entrance with a glass display counter then funneled into back galleries with a hexagon gallery space connecting to Market House. This was different than the Disney Gallery store above Pirates! Thanks again!!!

Thank you for bringing attention to this historic place called Disneyana. This hit home, as my daughter Emily is one of the sketch artists there going on 5 or 6 years. She was inspired at age 12, got the courage to ask one of the artists in Off the Page how they got that job! The rest is history, and she now works with that same CM she spoke to many many years ago. The artists are all great in there and always something new. This made me cry, as it was almost her exact story. Thank you!❤️

Enjoyed the video. I remember using the current location as a bank. We had cash enough to buy our tickets but needed money for food and souvenirs. I cashed a check at that bank on a Sunday. I also remember going through the Disney Gallery when it was above Pirates. I have since also visited the current location. Glad to see them keeping it around and in the park. I do vaguely remember the art corner.

Brickey, I love the music in this video! Feels very nostalgic and it reminds me of Walt Disney! I loved the Disney Gallery above Pirates (still miss it!). But now I love Disneyana on Main Street! I always walk into the shop looking at the artwork. I did purchase the taschen Disney film archives book in there though! I love these little history videos! You do such a great job! That’s all you have to say. Just a correction? No nice video, I enjoyed this. Just pop in and tell me what I forgot not thinking that maybe a good story teller is saving that part of the story when I do a video about the Market House to promote this previous video. I don’t know feels kinda rude to just pop in and only I add what you think I missed a nothing else. Might want to work on that.

I'll start this by pointing out that it's not pronounced Disney Ahna. It's Disney Ana as in. Anna. I was a Resort Trainer and Disneyana trainer for 5 years. The prints as you call them are Gilclee's.
The original Disneyana was on mainstreet caddy corner to Carnation Cafe. It was moved across the street next to the Cinema that is now part of Starbucks. The real overhangs.
The Disney Gallery was built in the bank when the annual pass center was moved to what was then Plaza Garden.
The only thing that changed about the Disney Gallery was putting a sign in front that said Disneyana.
There is more but I'll stop there. Hope that helps. 14:46
