    Hi Kerry, good to hear you're feeling better and getting stronger. Lovely to see Rosie with you, to just walk to your plot and with a coffee, win win. It's coming on, looking forward to seeing the pond grow. Hope the person taking over your allotment is nice and appreciates all the hard work you've put in and your beautiful shed. See you on the next one, byee 👋Jen 💕😘xx

    Hi Kerry, good to see your pond is underway. At the moment it looks like we are going to have plenty of rain to fill it ☹️ It’s lovely to see Rosie mooching about while you are working away. I’m in no way an expert but looked up UK slugs and I think that slug is probably a greenhouse slug, same family as the leopard slug but leopard slugs have very marked dark brown leopard print spots on a pale background (the Bet Lynch of slugs 😂). Greenhouse slugs are usually found in compost heaps feeding on decomposing matter and algae so still good for gardeners.

    Hi Kerry, I love your new house and garden. How lovely that you can have Rosie with you all the time now when you are gardening.
    I noticed you had 2 little football nets out, will you just think about hoggies getting caught in them if they are left out, there have been so many hedgehogs injured so far this year in garden nets and also tennis and football nets. Sorry to go on about it but you know how I love to look after them. Can't wait to see the finished home plot complete with wildlife pond .

      Hi Jackie, very good point😀👍👍 previous tenants put chicken wire on the whole boundary of the garden, so far I've found absolutely no animal activity in the garden with my wildlife camera - they cannot get in! Am thinking of creating a small hole on each boundary line (so 3 entry points - hedgehog highway) in the wire fence but wonder would hedgehogs be roaming in a field? Or do they stick to gardens?
      Will get boys to put the footie nets on the garden table when not using just in case one gets in😀👍👍x
      Oh! Guess what?! You are 2nd to comment so you won a plot25 print Jackie🥳🥳🥳 email me your address budgetcookinguk@gmail.com

      @@Kerry.Morton maybe the chicken wire around the boundary is to stop rabbits coming into your garden from the fields.

Come autumn it will get cut but the other area I have can stay like it as it's a horrible area with mushroom mayhem so all the grasses hides it all!! Win win...it certainly cut down my mowing pressures...I feel well chuffed !

    Hi Kerry, could you reuse the blue plastic as an extra layer at the bottom of your pond,
    can I ask why you’re put the pond there right where you walk to your veg beds ?

    • @Kerry.Morton
      @Kerry.Morton  3 месяца назад +2

      Haha it does look tight Sandra 😀💕but there is quite a lot of space to walk around, esp when I cut back those raspberries. Good idea to add those plastic sheets to the bottom of the pond, great idea thank you. Have ordered the pond liner and sharp sand so am excited to get that pond finished💪😀

      Evening Rosie 🐾 🐕. Ohhhh go you, good job starting the pond, it's going to be amazing. That flamin plastic is a nightmare. I've got my heating on. It's frozen here. It's good that someone is taking over plot 26. Sometimes you can get a man with a van cheap. Wow, that was amazing. The bird flying past, I was wondering what was happening at first, I thought my TV was playing up 😂😂. What a good job getting rid of that plastic. Rosie is living her best life, lying in the sun. Well done, you, you have done a great job. The arch would be perfect there. Bye Rosie, have a lovely evening, Kerry xxxx Jacs 💚❤️
