I am a South African and we've set the record to be the first country to ever win 4 championships and just won 2 championships in a row and yes my personal opinion is that we are in fact the best rugby team in the world ❤
The part where a group of players are pushing against each other is called a scrum. The ball gets put in at the feet and no hands are allowed to touch the ball. It's like a show of strength. And the team in black is called the All Blacks (New Zealand). The games between Springboks(South Africa) and New Zealand has been the biggest rivalry for about 100 years. South Africa is the current world champions. 😊
Is rugby dangerous? About the same level as NFL I would say. No pads, also means people are more careful during contact. NFL players do some reckless tackling. Points Try = Touchdown = 5 points Conversion = (Kick after try) = 2 points Penalty kick = 3 points (Kick to poles from where infringement occurs) Drop goal = Field goal = 3 points Black team is NZ called All blacks Green team is South Africa and called Springboks
It’s not a helmet, it’s a ‘scrum cap’ which basically is a cloth cap to protect your ears. It’s worn to stop your ears becoming cauliflower ears, or even more to stop them getting them ripped off. 5 points for a try (equivalent to touchdown), 2 for a conversion (point after), 3 points each for a penalty or drop goal. The last three are successful when kicked over the bar and between the posts, as American Football. Not sure what you meant by disrespectful? The tackler tried to stop the ball carrier scoring, note the ball has to be touched on the ground to score. The scorer wasn’t happy with the manner in which he was tackled. So, words were exchanged, that was all. They did ‘that’ as an infringement had occurred. It’s one method of restarting the game and the attacking side pushed the other over the line and scored . When not so close to the line it’s just a competition to get the ball. Note that the ball was touched down to make the score here! It’s called a scrum and it is directly from this that the NFL line of scrimmage developed; NFL being an evolved sport from rugby. You cannot tackle a man without the ball (and you can never block), but if you’ve gone for the tackle, but the player passes the ball just before you tackle, it isn’t illegal. You have not noticed that number 14 is actually two different players. Unlike in NFL the number isn’t allocated to an individual, it signifies the position and whoever is playing there wears it. They just won the World Cup, they are South Africa. Mind you, an equally intimidating video is available on the team in black, The All Blacks, which are New Zealand. Like everyone who has only ever seen NFL, you’re at a point where trying to equate one with the other is very hard. Best way forward is to watch a video of the laws of the game.
Thats not a helmet it's an ear protection. I'm 32 years been playing rugby since 11 years from South Africa. Green team is SA 4x times world championship first in the world to do that
The South African rugby team is not the only team with strong players....fiji, georgia, tonga, samoa, new zeland had strongest players but south african player... Plays destructively and recklessly thats why they dangers....no hand tackles....they made some takels look like suicide 😅
