Tie marking tape to the deer fencing, that way all animals and humans can see it. If you tie it so it flaps in the wind it will help keep birds out of your garden to. The flapping also will keep the deer away.
Get some Dr Earth dry fertilizer and mix into your dirt before planting and top dress, you can mix in 5gal bucket with a teabag type thing spray or water with it as well. Also spray in some epsom salts (magnesium sulfate) thatll green stuff up. If you wana get real into it look at brewing actively aerated compost teas. :D
I did the same trellis a couple of times in my garden. I use them for beans and the tomatoes. Garden is coming along! Fencing drives me nuts. Squirrels, rabbits, deer, raccoons....they all have their tricks to get in and eat your veggies. Thanks for sharing, keep up the good work!
Your tomatoes and peppers look AH mazing!! Nice green color to everything. Everything outside looks great, too,I can't wait to see how it grows. Love the cedar trellis. Stay well my friend.
Cracking job Sarge, plenty of produce on its way to keep you fed mate! Can never have enough spuds 🥔 ! Look forward to the next video. We’re still on lockdown here but loads of jobs going on in the garden & on the house! Learning the Mandolin is testing my patience though 🤣😂! Stay well & keep safe. Atb Andy.
Looking good. Cant wait to see it as summer comes in. Got most of mine done Sat. running a few weeks behind this year due to weather. Really amazing when you think about it how different it is North to South. Much respect to all the work you put in up there to have a nice garden.
Thanks buddy. Cant wait to see it all as well, and folks down south have been harvesting for a while now....im really just starting haha. Take care man
Love your work, we are moving in a month and will have a large garden. It's a blank canvas so we can design it from scratch and as I said it's large, at least of our standards. almost 1.5 acre and half of it is an old horse horse pasture that we can do what ever we like to. I will sure plant a lot and there will be a greenhouse some day and some bee hives too.
I thought about it because i love canteloupe, but im trying to squeeze in the necessities first. if there is room i will grow some for sure. Just got done starting more seeds and did a video on it that should be up tomorrow or tuesday so.... Take care my friend

That fencing would deter rabbits i bet from foraging too. Its a start, both big plots, will explode soon. "Your looking a bit rough bud," haha
LOL. Yup. cant wait til things start perking up. Each tour now should look much better

The garden is off to a great start. Better start planning on what to do with your bountiful harvest.
Thanks bud. All over it. Gonna eat as fresh and often as possible and then preserve the rest by canning, fermenting, freezing, dehydrating etc.
Good start for your garden!
Thanks!
