Even if Martha and Billy stayed with Curt; Kraven and his hunters would’ve put their lives in danger or they would’ve been captured by Kraven and his hunters. Connors still loved his wife and son after they left him during his first Lizard incident, he cared about his family’s safety and he still respected his wife’s decision on not getting involved with him any further because he was still dealing with his Lizard persona, he didn’t want to put his family in more danger. I know that Connors is still hurting over his wife and son leaving him. Both Peter and Mary Jane know that Connors is a good person and maybe they can try to be there for Connors when he needs it. After Kraven was killed by Venom, hopefully; Connors can try to reconcile with his family for his actions as the Lizard.
